Radefeld Dental review: Dental exam

I scheduled a dental exam for my wife through the practice's office manager, who confirmed the practice / dentist accepted her health insurance. She said it was our "lucky day" because they just had a cancellation and would be able to "slip" my wife into that time slot. Upon arrival, the office manager checked in my wife without re-confirming that her insurance was accepted for the exam -- which is highly unusual.

About a month later we received letter a letter from my wife's insurance company saying the dental exam was not covered. Next, we received a bill from the practice for the exam.

This is a classic example of baiting and switching. The office manager knew my wife's insurance would not cover the exam. Her job was to fill an opening after a last second cancellation from another client. How many other clients have been taken advantage of this unethical behavior?
