Bought digital camera model is426 for a Christmas present 2013 battery went dead and won't recharge, went on mutable sites to find replacement battery none available can not find one anywhere. If I knew this was a disposable camera I would have never spent 80.00 dollars on it. The package should have said so. Have contacted the BBB also the Indiana attorney generals office to get the product from being sold will never buy a Polaroid product again
Same here in the UK. Bought for the great grandson, very keen. Left during CoVid lockdown and battery id dead. Charging made it 'swell' not take a charge. Again, can't fine a ZK-01 battery on this planet. Couple of "unused" cameras for sale on eBay but probably better sending it to landfill!
The battery model is ZK01. I have seen a BL-5B suggested for a similar camera, the iE826, which is also supposed to tale a ZK01, but the dimensions are wrong for the iS426 for sure.
I bought my wife a Polariod iS426, we used it al lot on holidays and at family event and the photos were very good. It's light and simple enough to use.
But after it had been sitting in the drawer for a few months it was put on charge ready for our next trip, only to find it will not charge.
I've searched everywhere and looked replacements as well as alternatives - none found.
It's a right royal pain the backside that I now have to buy a new camera for our holidays - note it will not be a Polariod.
I live near Dallas. I went to 3 places to find a battery for my polaroid is426 including batteries + bulb, which I was sure would have this battery. You would think a town as big as Dallas would have a store that would carry a battery for my camera. My feelings toward polaroid have changed. Not sure that I will ever buy another product of theirs.
I have a polaroid is426 and cant get the battery to charge either. this was a rip off.
