Upset in buying a ulove osim massage chair

Not listening to my friend about poor osim service
I bought an osim ulove massage chair - paid cash of rm 17, 588.00

In about 3 months or so, the chair had started to give me problems

My wife had used the chair under one of its stored programmes
Activiting one of its programme - the chair has tilted to its extreme lower end postion and was massaging
All of a sudden there was no power and my wife was stuck in the chair at its extreme low end position
Lucky I was at home and I could carry my wife out of the chair

I had then called the sales person whom I had bought the chair from
He then said he will make a report to osim service hq

Later on the same day, after an hour or so, I tried to power-on the massage chair, strangely there was power
I then move the chair to its original position and left it

The next day osim service had called me to make inquire on the chair
I had told the service girl the chair was working and explained what I did

2 days later, I asked my wife to try the chair again to see if the chair was in proper working order
Nope the same problem had happened
The power cuts-off again and at the same extreme low end position

I again called the salesman and he said he will report to osim service again

The next day the same service girl call me and said that they will have to take back the chair for repairs
I was upset as it was only 3 months or so the massage chair had given me problems
Its not a cheap massage chair as it had costed me rm17, 588.00 and this costly massage chair had failed

I asked the service girl when will osim pick up the chair
She said in about 10 to 14 days time

This even made me more angry as osim needs 14 days to collect my chair for its repairs
So when will the chair be repaired and when will the chair be sent back to me?

I asked the service girl, why so long...
She blamed me for the delay because I have cancelled for service the first time when she had called me
I cancel the first pick up because, the chair had worked after 1 hours

Not bad a big well known company like "osim", can blame its customers for its incompetence

I was then disappointed with the purchase of this chair as the salesman, mr aiden kai was not honest to tell me about after sales / repair time
How long this would take for a repir to be if their massage chair would break-down

If I had known that the repair and service would take this long - certainly I will never bought any osim product

I made some noise with the salesman and now he doesn't bother about the chair anymore and no reply to my messages sent to him
He just reads the messages but not bothered to reply. So much from this salesman!

I the had to find my ways to report this matter to osim
I called in osm and wanted to speak to its director as talking to lower end people are waste of time

All I could get to, was to the customer service senior manager mr dexter liew
This guy is worst and after speaking to him, he gives me a even a later date to pick up my spoilt chair.
He cannot fix a date for pick up and I believe there are other more important customers then me

I was frustarted over all these things and seen how after sales works - made me hate osim and I wanted to get a refund for this chair

I told dexter that I am a very unhappy customer and want a full refund for my chair
He said he needed to speak to a higher authority and will get back to me

In the same time he will arrange to collection my chair

I had osim people come by to take the chair back
They confirmed that the chair was still in good and new condition and gave me a 100 points pass checked document

On the same day after the chair was collected, mr dexter emails me to tell me that:
Osim policy is a one way policy.
They only sell and no refund or take back policy for whatever reason

We are talking about a rm17588.00 massage chair that has borken down in less that 4 months
In fact we do not use this chair often
Maybe 5 times the most since we bought the chair

How do you feel about such a policy - seem like osim are smart crooks and smart in ways to cheat customers

Still unhappy, I tried to get to the director of osim malaysia

I called in finance and managed to get osim secretary, ms may seng direct number as nobody wants to gives mr tay kim sim (osim-director) number
I have tried to call osim secretary ms may seng many times - always not answering her office tel calls
I called in to osim hq, to check if she was in her room and confimred she was in but she refuses to pick up my calls
(from this, I have learnt osim dirty ways on cheats - when there is a problem - nobody was to answer calls or help to find solutions to care for theri customers)

So I then tried to contact singapore osim
I manage to get the email address and I wrote in to its director
I got no reply and its been 2 weeks now

Now the massage chair is at osim service for about 40 days

There is no news from anyone on my refund and nobody even the director are bother to know why I have not collected my chair
Why is the chair of a customer after serivce or repair done still not collected by the customer

Nobody is bother even its director mr tay kim sim

Osim has no customer service

I am still waiting for answers

So will you buy an osim product after all this and my frustration here...

Hi Bro, i am facing the same [censored] problem on my Ulove Stupid Chair. Can you please advise how you solved the problem at last? Need some advise from you. My contact at [protected]. Perhaps we can do something against together.
