Guys, never go to Hungary for a plastic surgery op, escecially avoid Mediburg Clinic, dr Szemerey Balazs István PS. He botched my eyes, my face, ha made me almost blind... after the 6th unsuccesful 'correction' he threw me out of his practice, declared my eyes to be OK. He declared me to be also mentally disease... because of not recognising the "good result" of his beautiful job... he forged my medical documents, defamed me... I SUED HIM!
In Hungary a malpractice proceeding takes about 5-6 years... never come to Hungary, don't risk, plastic surgery is here still in its infacny! All forumsites are full of advertisements of Hungarian charlatans. Those advertise abroad, who have not got enoug jobs here, in Hungary, who have a very bad reputation here. Don't be taken by them!
After two year of my last op I still have an extrem scleral show at both sides, deformations, ptosis at the left side, my upper lids hang... I have constant pains owing to the dryness of my eyes. Because in Hungary there is no reconstructive surgery, I have to fly to the States... from a country, from my country, where the average salary is not more than 500 dollars for a month... Now I have to pay for my reconstructive surgery op at least 18 000. Learn out of my case! What is inexpensive is not always good. Rather in the most cases it can too bad.
Of course, in Sulgie's libellous text there is not a grain of truth. I am not seeking a revenge on anybody. I just want to protect the potential will-be patients of dr. Istvan Balazs Szemerey posting them the message: stay away from Mediburg Clinic Budapest! In Hungary it still happens very often when a doctor does a malprarctice, he does not acknowledge his falult, rather declares his ex-patient to be mentally diseased of an alcoholic. Such doctors don't raalise that times have been changing. Internet has become a great power in the world. And we too have here in Hungary since the end of communistic regime the freedom of speech too...
No restraining order was issued by the court of justice. I have violated no order and did no criminal offenses. I am free to put down my painful history on the internet and anywhere. Dr. Massry can justify me, I am not an alcoholic. If I were, he definitely didnot operate me. I know, my ex-PS operates everybody - even alcohlics for the money - but I did not belong to them. In my opinion it is very immoral to libel botched ex-patiens..
In the end my revision ops took place in the middle and at the end of March in Los Angeles. I spent 5 weeks in the States. The ops have become 70-80% succesful, both aesthetically and medically. After 2 and a half years I can close my eyes! Since I have had a tear plug in my left lower eyelid I have no pains, extrem dryness anymore.
I sued my ex PS, dr. Istvan Balazs Szemerey, who botched my eyes, than left me in the lurch, he did not help me to find me either a proper oculoplastic surgeon or to finance the costs of my revision. Dr. Istvan Balazs Szemerey did 2 malpractises: during his first op he fixed my face instead of 2 bites only by one - you know, originally it was an endoscopic mid-face lift. (My American doctor fixed it by 3 bites...) After the first op he did not remove the large amount of blood, collected at the operation area. The overweight tore out the sutures. I got horrible ectropion on both lower eye-lids.
With the help of the members of an American forumsite (Make Me Heal) I have found an excellent oculoplastic surgeon in Los Angeles, Dr. Guy Massry, who did a great job. THANKS DR. GUY MASSRY! You have saved my eyes, my life, you have givem me back the good quality of life! I can recommend him to everybody who needs nice eyelids or revision ops owing to poor outcomes of another doctor.

Stay away from Istvan Balazs Szemerey. He is dangerous, he is a BOTCHER-BUTCHER! A very dangerous one.
Don't understand this lady...Dr Szemerei is amazing doctor, done my surgery and never can thank him enough...He is beautiful person with kind approach and don't believe a word of this gossiping...I would recommend him to everybody!
Hungarian alcoholic Erika L. is seeking revenge on Hungary's Society of Plastic Surgeons, her main concentration point being Dr. I. Szemerey/Mediburg Clinic. Her aesthetic procedure healed with complications due to her own irresponsible behaviour and alcoholism. Every negative entry found on the internet was posted by her, which led to the Buda Central District Court of Justice to issue a restraining order against her, ordering her to refrain from publishing hurtful entries on the internet or approaching the clinic. Any further hurtful material published on the internet is therefore considered a violation of the order and may be considered a criminal offense.
