I entered into a contract with Mad Designs on August 24, 2010 to replace my front steel door and new windows for my bedrooms. It is now five months later, they still have not given me a proper fitting door. The door they gave me has a 1/4 inch gap where it is not the right size. My windows were ordered wrong, I now have plastic and fleece blankets on my "new windows" and the cold is still coming in through the casings, I have been trying to get this resolved through emails and voice mails and I haven't even had a courtesy call back to tell me what or when they will be doing to rectify the situation.
There is always some kind of excuse. Well you know what excuses only go so far.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I had my front window replaced and done through the hydro program. Window is 5hx7xL. I tell you, I was thinking I was getting a very decent window, and wouldn't have to deal with the cold air and moisture anymore. Well, I have to always have my blinds down, with a blanket across the couch to stop the breeze. I'm on route to trying to see if hydro will look into this, as it isn't stopping any cold from coming in. This window was replaced in 2011 October by 3 guys. One guy had no clue what he was doing. Thankfully at least one guy did. I dealt with Scott.
