Never hire or pay Joe Bradley of Santa Monica for a back round check or any of his private investigating services. He is a fraud. This is a scam. He took my deposit and disappeared. He never returns phone calls. He never produced any kind of reports (back round check). He gives lip service and does not do any work. His address is a P.O. Box, therefor he remains hidden.
This is a complete lie. The woman posting this complaint was referred by mutual friend and I had done 2 previous background checks for her for FREE ! This time I said you have to pay. I can't go into detail, but it usually involved some kind of a to good to be true situation. I have spent many HOURS on the phone with this person walking her through the signs of a scam. Most of it is common sense, but when you are desperate and delusional you rationalize that this could be the one. Now, with that said, I told her that it would be $275 for a background investigation. She agreed, but then she only sent a check for $100.00. Remember only $100.00.
We did a full background investigation on the subject and yes it was to good to be true. Very thorough because I knew she would be in denial. I said you need to send the balance and she said she should cut her losses. Then she said she wants to have a meeting and I should bring a full written report and any photographs or video of the subject during the investigation. I asked what she thought we did and she replied with " how many times did you have him under surveillance". Remember, this was for $100.00.
We knew we were never going to see another dime. I told her to send the balance and then she would get a written report. If she wanted to meet she would be charged for that time. She refused. Here's an example of what we had to deal with. She started to call repeatedly on July 4, I was with family and finally picked up the phone. She wanted to know what was going on with the subject ect. I told her I gave her a status last week and today was July 4 and I was with my family. She said, no joking here, "when you work for me there are no Holidays, my people work 24-7. Remember $100.00. I have in this business for over 25 yrs and just saw this complaint after a friend was messing around with the google. I know this is a rant, but this is the problem with these sites, you can say anything about anybody without having to substantiate your claim. The final straw was that she filed complaint with Calif Consumer Affairs and we were contacted and again we had to defend ourselves, which we did with gusto. They actually said, after we showed them what we had done and previous freebies, are we talking about $100.00. I said "Yes WE Are". Now do something about. This person is very talented but has no concept of reality. This person also runs ads for interns for her home based business and says after 90 days it could be a paying position in the entertainment industry. We all know how many people are on payroll. Free employees for 90 days and her delusions. She says not to make small talk or even look at her when she's creating. This is in her ads. We found this out after the nightmare. I hope she gets help and I really do believe in her talent but this is not going to bring the success and results that she is looking for.

The original poster must truly be unstable. I feel sorry for the person/professional she is defaming. If I were them I would try to have the complaint removed or sum her for defamation.
