Apartment complex is charging an unreasonable water bill. First month of rent our water bill was a normal 40 dollars. Our apartment is two bedroom with three people living there. We had two friends stay with us for two weeks during the first month too.
Every month after, our water bill has been over 100$. This is not just an issue with us but all the tenants living here. We have called multiple times asking why we are getting this bill.
The first lie was the changing of seasons yet it is winter. The second lie they told us was that we were covering for the unoccupied rooms which makes no sense because our complex B is entirely occupied.
The only complaints I could find elsewhere were first hand accounts from neighbors and from the www.apartmentratings.com website. Please get back to me on how else I can approach this, thank you.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
We moved out a month before our lease was up and we did not use any water during our last month of rent and they charged us over $100! It was like that the whole time!
