I donated money to a "Go Fund Me" campaign featuring Jessica Nabongo aka J. Nambowa, a woman claiming she was going to be the first Black woman to travel to every country. Later I found out another woman had already accomplished this in 2018. Apparently, Jessica Nabongo knew about this but continued with her deception. I reported the issue to "go fund me" and received no response. I contacted Jessica Nabongo and received no response. I started researching Jessica Nabongo and realized that this was all a money-making scheme to generate attention to her businesses and dreams of fame. She has media and sponsors determined to make her the "First" even if she is not.
In May 2019, several media outlets reported that she had already visited every country but her Instagram said 25 countries were still not visited. Jessica Nabongo successfully sold her fake news story to the public, the media, tourism boards, and corporate sponsors. Jessica Nabongo promised everyone associated with her that they would go down in history. She has dozens of stories about what she is "going to do" these stories have tried to erase the truth and in many instances, the truth was suppressed by media outlets already invested in Jessica Nabongo. My investigation unearthed a tangled web, even her name is fake.

I should have read about Jessica Nabongo before supporting her.
She says she quit a six-figure job to travel. Who quits a job to panhandle the internet for money?
She uses the public's internet donations and sympathy while bragging about her "significant amounts of disposable income"

I was also disappointed that in many instances Jessica Nabongo spent a few hours in a country photographing herself in sexual poses and never really experiencing the culture. Racing through each country is extremely disrespectful.

In one interview Jessica Nabongo admits her parents raised her in America as Ugandan and never really embraced America. She complains about America but uses American media, sponsors, tourism boards, and the American public to fund her personal travel while lecturing Black Americans on how to travel. She uses her American passport to access countries she could not visit with a Ugandan passport.
For a few hours, Jessica Nabongo rebranded herself "First African woman to travel to every country". Legally she is not African and having two passports gives her an unfair advantage against other African women. She quickly returned to "First black woman".

Jessica Nabongo's narcissism, ethics, and character are on full display with her refusal to acknowledge she will never be the first, deceiving her followers, continuing to collect internet funds, etc.

Not being "the first" is very costly for Jessica Nabongo so she, her paid media, and sponsors have decided to ignore reality and continue with their campaign.

In the article below Jessica Nabongo admits to having "a significant amount of disposable income".in the same article, she aggressively tries to extort The Four Seasons Hotel out of a room and into partnership.

Yes, unfortunately this is Jessica http://www.gulin.world/blog-eng/the-travel-community-fitting-in
I have to confess I am jealous of her press success. I am going to every country too. I am not black, but I am a woman. I am Turkish by birth, Italian by marriage. The reason I'm going to every country is to burn my passports in the end to protest Global Apartheid or Birthplace Racism. Funny though, not many people seem to get what I mean, even in the extreme travel community. They are so much into their game, and it is a game http://www.gulin.world/blog-eng/playing-the-every-country-game Yet... These people are supposed to know best how life is in other countries, what it means to be asked stupid papers for visas just because you were born someplace. A black woman who holds an American passport is so much advantaged over a poor Afghani. http://www.gulin.world/blog-eng/a-black-woman-versus-a-poor-afghani
Somebody should really speak up for the disparity in freedom of movement on the world we are all born. I'm trying to get my voice heard, to no avail... I don't understand why as migration is a very central topic in our lives today. Defining people by their birthplace, what's more defining their radius of movement on earth by that is nothing but madness.
