I have found the apartment through FPI Management (CA). I contacted them and asked if they could hold this apartment for me. They said to pay the holding fee and they took $50 check fee, which was non-refundable. After we finished our negotiations, I have paid for the first month and waited for the keys. The manager contacted me one month later and said that there were problems with my credit card and I needed urgently to provide all papers or they would rent this apartment to someone else.
I reside at a FPI Management owned complex in the Los Angeles area. This is the worst, most dishonest, non caring company that I have ever seen in my life. Currently living in a pest infested apartment, notified the now new manager team a month ( twice ) ago and still nothing ! Being bitten all over my body now for months, this is extremely bad for my health not to mention its gross living with this. Called the Health dept now am talking to lawyers. Tenants have rights that are NOT to be violated. My advice is this, if you are looking for an apartment make sure you find out what company owns the building or complex and if its FPI them quickly run the other way !
