This has always bothered me and felt I needed to write a review about it. I'm writing this to anyone that may be considering going to Dr. Caloca Jr. in Tijuana. This is more of an awareness than a complant although the results he gave me were horrible. Two years ago I was planning on going for chin surgery with Dr. Caloca Jr. We exchanged email messages and he convinced me to go and have the surgery with him. He was very well spoken and professional so I had no worries. He said I would need to make a deposit of $1, 000 in order to book and confirm a surgery date. I did that and everything seemed fine. A few days before going in for my expected surgery, I got in a bad car crash! I informed Dr. Caloca Jr. that my car was completely damaged and had no transportation or the funds to give the rest of the money because I had to use the money to pay off the totaled vehicle. He understood and told me that the deposit would be saved and used whenever I decided for the procedure. Considering the unfortunate circumstance, I was hoping he would reimburse me some amount of money because i wouldn't be able to have surgery for a while and he refused, not even give me a percentage of the $1000. THIS PLASTIC SURGEON DOES NOT ISSUE ANY REFUND ONCE MONEY HAS BEEN DEPOSITED TO HIM.
I felt very unease knowing a doctor from another country had my money so I rented a car and traveled to Tijuana. I had no money for the chin surgery, so I opted for 2 syringes of Juvederm on my dent folds i have on my cheeks. EACH syringe was $600 for regular Juvederm, NOT even Juvederm ultra. I get Juvederm Ultra here in California with a great plastic surgeon for $350 and amazing results so why would Dr. Caloca Jr from Tijuana charge me $1200 for 2 syringes? I told him I only wanted 1 syringe, but he told me I would need to purchase both because he bought one package with contains 2 juvederms and he couldn't return them back. He seemed very shady after that. I got the injections on my cheeks and then nasiolabal folds and was extremely bruised on my cheeks. The results were very unsatisfactory and there was a blueish color on both my cheeks for 7 months until the juvederm absorbed away AND the depression areas on my cheek were not even filled. It was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. There are many great palstic surgeons in Tijuana, but I would never recommend you go to Dr. Caloca Jr. from Tijuana !
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Dr. Caloca Jr. also stole money from our family.
My sister put down a large deposit (thousands of dollars) for a face-lift scheduled for December 2018.
My sister unexpectedly died in October 2018.
We contacted doctor Caloca for a refund and he refused many times. My brother in law needed the money for her burial expenses. We even had our attorney contact him and he threatened the Mexican cartel/mafia is we bothered him again.
Please NEVER go to the doctor!
I have never seen Dr. Caloca Jr. But I have seen his father twice and I am getting ready to go see him again. Sr. Is the only plastic surgeon I trust and want to make sure people understand there are two doctors, father and son.
I absolutely LOVE Dr Caloca! He's extremely knowledgeable, kind and very good at his job! I had a lower face lift, liposuction and Botox. My results are amazing! It's been 15 years since my surgeries and I still look great. When I'm ready for a "tuneup" I'll be heading right back to his office! His office is beautiful! His staff is very, very nice. I 1, 000% recommend Dr Caloca!
He botched my nose job and lips. He is a money hungry devil. He is evil. He wants to have you come back, and thats why he botches procedures. He left a big hump on my nose. I wouldnt go back to him if it was free. Stay away from this doctor. He will only do harm.

I had a horrible experience with him in 2004, posted it on a few sights but was outdone by all of the "raving reviews" that iIfound very fake since no one gets 10's all of the time. Then he contacted me and told me to remove the postings. i did not and wrote to him that I live in a free country and did not have to "comply". I'm glad you are doing OK. I still have problems to this day and have spent thousands (over 30k) on my eyes since that sad never-to-be-forgotten day. Unfortunately, nothing can be done, and I have to live with the eye damage for the rest of my life.
I do highly recommend Dr. Caloca Jr. I have been getting botox for 4 years and he is one of the best!

Ok this person looks un happy because she wanted the results from a surgery and got a filler instead because she couldn't afford the surgery this review doesn't show any before and after pics and is just someone that wanted a lot for a little I disagree
I have several friends that have had surgery with Dr Caloca jr and have had fantastic results.
