This guy doesnt give a 'carp', hes a narcissist i have known and been a patient of before .
He's so self-centered, he even has a dedicated site just to tell you how GREAT he is:

NO-I want to see more training certificates on the wall, i could not care less how 'commited' you are it is not a marriage and aside from my money-what the heck does a dentist care, really-REALLY?
AND i am sorry but, you do NOT treat your dental assistants like garbage in front of the patient-he acted all exasperated and snapped at her several times-for such little things, it was sickening and i HOPE she saw the pity in my eyes, poor girl...He is all show ...

a few dental clubs is not an education- it is passing a multiple choice test (if that) and paying a fee for a piece of paper on your wall- Its like that in every profession-a club is not an education, they are your golf-hockey- buddies. A 2 hour course is not going to change lives Dr.Joshi .
Endodontist, Orthodontist, maxillo-facial surgeon...these are REAL continuing education- he is just a muddling scotch-tape solution of a regular old dentist who lies, gives you UNREAL options that logically would not work with your mouth and bite and blames the PATIENT for their INFERIOR dental restorations!.
It is up to your dentist to verify if a crown, bridge or denture fits well, and they will not always tell you if it is bad -they just want your money and dont want to have you back for remakes on THEIR unpaid time.
But, when you are getting your teeth cleaned and the hygenist says " your crown needs to be replaced, it is wayyyy open at the gum, who did this?' and you say 'your boss' and she shuts up - well, buyer beware. And when you mention this to your dentist and he says it your TOOTH that has fallen away and not the crown (i felt it when it was new-nothing has changed!i just didnt know better to complain)
He put an inferior crownin my mouth that is supposed to last 10 or so years, and its not even 1/3 that...
NOT ONLY THAT, but i went in for a filling, he told me he would do tooth coloured composite and as i am lying there, mouth locked open, I hear him tell his assistant to get him the metal material (not sure if its amalgam ) and i see her eyes pop at him. I am not sure i heard right and voila, i have metal in my mouth...what a lying bag of garbage...
WORST OF ALL i had him do my molar fillings and when i saw another dentist A FEW MONTHS LATER (after Joshi basicallly said its MY fault he sucks and his hygenist doesnt know what she is talking about), the NEW dentist said i had decay under them, one was leaking and they should all be replaced. I JUST PAID THE dr.Atul Joshi A SMALL FORTUNE TO DO HIS JOB - i could see the black under them (not good in laymans terms)..i was sooooooooo pissed, so here i am.
AND, AGAIN, i have a heavy bite that, is open in the back, meaning i have most force on my front teeth so they are shifting. The guy, who treats everyone like they are idiots and is very condescending while smiling in your face, tells me 'come back to me when you can afford it and we can give you some nice veneers"...ummmm these are shells of acrylic or composite crystals that are bonded to your teeth... i can bring my lower teeth over my uppers b/c of this bite...YOU DONT DO VENERS ON MOUTHS LIKE MINE unless you have an extra 10, 000$ for crowns on all molars to stabilize the bite (thank you wikipedia and resources!) and i knew this right there in the chair because i am wearing my front teeth edges down from my jaw movement/chewing and i hate it.

It showed me that he has no concern for the facts of the matter, he always want to do this and that and an extra bit here and let me give you crap work so you will be back again soon...I am not the only client he has done this to ...horror stories...and i count myself lucky-BAH!
He is VERY cheap with his work, charge you premium and will cheat you out of your money.Do yourself a favour and avoid him. this is 10 years + experience with the fraud talking here.
I have heard from ex workers of his that he NEVER SENDS WORK THAT SHOULD BE REMADE back to the labs he gets them from and the lab is just as bad from that crown i got- just a big talker promising the impossible-of course he says i should get veneers..so they break and need replacing!
oh, and he never told me it is standard practice for a 5year warranty on crowns...free work for him..

This is a comment to JUSTA... You're an complete idiot! Stop getting your lack of intelligence off a the internet to sound like you know what you're talking about. You just sounded like a total head case. He has probably has a lot more certificates and smarts then you ever can hope to have.
You people on these sites are bashing the doctors for there work when you the patients go in assuming there F$#kng god. They do there job and do it well.
Stop crying he is a good Dentist and focuses on his job, who are you to judge how full of himself he is? You're in there with the dental assistant for most of the visit.
Too many dentist lies to patience and do unnecessary dental work. They sometimes even charge for work not done. I heard of too many cases dentists ruined good teeth when it can be saved cuz they want money from root cancels and crowns. This is a lot more money than simply doing a tooth filling.
St.Laurent dental centre is all smoke and mirrors. I had a root canal done and I was sooo sick and groggy and they were forcing me out when i could hardly see or feel my body...isnt surgery something you are supposed to recover from before being kicked out the door?
I have never been back . Dont believe in miracles being sold-i had front teeth done:
a 'youthful' smile is what he says...they make them look like chiclets actually, i was not impressed and he wouldnt listen when i said i did not like them. He ground them down with his tools and took the-glaze?- shine and colour off them then did it to the rest so they matched what he had done to the others (i could feel this and had not complained about the tooth he was working on!
When he was done he suggested Zoom whitening to make my natural teeth match the mutilated crowns! needless to say the teeth are stained from him breaking the glaze barrier and i have to get it done again somewhere...buyer beware...
