After taking a 70 % deposit on 14th July, they promised to install granite countertops within 2 days. After about two weeks and numerous attempts at trying to get them to come and install the countertops, I asked for my deposit of R1000.00 back and this was agreed to by Mandy Janse van Vuuren. This reimbursement has been promised on at least four occasions, but, to date, I have received nothing back. I have sent SEVERAL (around 100) SMS and e-mail reminders to them, but to no avail.

I believe that they are scamsters that operate under the following names:
‘Deziner Granite’
‘Creative Granite’
‘Royal Granite’.

I know for a fact that I am not the only person who has been taken by them as I found an article on ‘Hello Peter’ by a lady complaining about a Dave Janse van Vuuren of ‘Creative Granite’ also operating out of Pretoria West with virtually an identical story – 70 % deposit, no granite tops.

I have told them that I will be lodging this with ‘Small Claims’, but I do not know what else I can do, or even whether the address provided by them is legitimate.

Furthermore, I have provided a tax number for them (as given to an associate), but I think it should be noted that no vat reg number or co reg number is provided on their quotation. Beware!

Simon how can you agree if all your granite was installed. Maybe you should check your memory because its failing you. After your granite was installed you paid us in full. What does that tell you SIMON
