I went to the West Linn Med Spa for Botox, the Doctor was swaying, talking slowly & seemed out of it.
I clearly should have left then! He injected my face with Botox in a different way then I had ever experienced
in the ten years I have been receiving this treatment. He injected the Botox into the fat not the muscle in my face. After two weeks, I called their spa to let them know that the Botox he injected was completely infective, MY FACE WAS NOT FROZEN - AT ALL!. They acted concerned, yet did NOTHING about it. I payed way to much and received NOTHNG in return. Whack job for a doctor, appears mentally ill.
100% DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER!
DO NOT GO HERE FOR BOTOX, YOU WILL REGRET IT!

I stumbled upon this complaint when I performed a search for Dr Norcom phone number since his number didn't transfer from my old phone to my new phone. I have been going to see Dr. Norcom for approximately ten years and I don't let anyone else touch my face. He is very patient, informative, understanding and will address any questions or concerns that i have about any given procedure. I have had botox, fillers, resurfacing over the course of the last ten years and although I am in my mid 50's i easily pass for my mid to late 30's thanks in large part to Dr. Norcom. I am not rich, but i want to look good, Dr Norcom prices are reasonable and most importantly he is great at administering the treatment. Usually I would read a complaint like the one above and just shake my head and move on but I found the allegations so ludicrous that i needed to add my comments.

My injection have been effective and I appreciate Dr. Norcum's thorough explanations. I don't feel like I am being sold product and he gives choices. I have had many years of injections from various Doctors and he is well trained and effective.

I agree with the patient. I had a juviderm restyling type filler around my mouth area and as soon as I got in the car and looked in the mirror I looked no different. I don't think he's a bad man although maybe inexperienced or unsure of what he's doing. He agreed to do a free redo and yet still not a change. When I went back it was obvious he was now insecure because he was asking me where to put it. When I first went in he had confidence and spoke as if he had a gift for this. I hope he's gotten better that was about 3 years ago

Dr. Norcom and his staff are some of the NICEST people I have ever met. Their office is warm and inviting. I don't believe they would have allowed a patient to leave dissatisfied with their services. Mr. Norcom is a very attentive doctor and a very effective one at that. I have never had any issues with his treatments.

I would just like to say that Dr. Norcom is not only one of the most sensitive and intelligent physicians I have met, but recently his medical ethics were exhibited as superior when he honestly assessed my medical history and he did not feel comfortable allowing me to participate in a potentially profitable program at his MedSpa. I agreed. He could have easily brushed past the concerns in order to make a profit, but did not, and exhibited the best qualities of a concerned and conscientious physician. I find it absolutely ridiculous that he would be described in such a fashion on a public website and encourage other potential clients to ignore this odd representation and experience first hand the high ethics and kindness of this Doctor, as well as his lovely, gentle and helpful staff.

Future Prospective Patients,

It's unfortunate that this person was upset with our interaction. She became upset when I suggested that she try a different injector in the future. At her initial visit, this patient received very low dosing, due to cost concerns - at her request. In my opinion, even still, she had great relaxation of her lines. There were two small areas of movement in her forehead at her recheck appt we scheduled for her. She was given 10 more units at no charge at this second visit and then refused to come back in for a recheck again.

I am dedicated to my patients, and have a reputation among them of actually being an excellent communicator and listener. Read the testimonials on my website, they give more of a true indication of my relationship with my patients.

As for her outlandish and defaming and slanderous comments about being mentally ill, swaying, and seeming out of it - wow. In twenty years of seeing and treating patients I've never had a patient say anything like that about me. In my opinion, these comments were just an expression of her frustration with our refusal to refund her money, as she demanded numerous times and still continues to do so.

I've injected thousands of patients with Botox. This patient's treatment worked as expected at the low dosing that she requested. I have occasionally refunded a patient when they had a poor response to a treatment, but in this case it was not warranted. She had good clinical results.

This patient not only received an effective treatment, with injections placed exactly where she wanted them, but she received an additional 10 units of Botox at no charge at her recheck appointment! She became upset when Dr. Norcom suggested she find another provider for her next treatment and has been on a campaign to smear his name ever since. He is one of the top injectors in the State of Oregon with extraordinarily high patient satisfaction rate.
