I purchased the first car battery 21 months ago from Benny’s —North Bronx Auto Repair Inc. Located at 3074 Webster Ave. Bronx New York 10467—–Tel: [protected]
I had to take my car back to him; because the battery died on me numerous times in the past three weeks and when he put in the new one on Saturday 9/29/12. The next morning
Sunday 9/30/12. My car wouldn’t start up form me; so I had to ask a neighbor to give me a jump by using my cables. I went to tell him of the faulty battery he sold and he tried to tell me it was my fault that the battery went dead. Both batteries were 2009 batteries and my mechanic told me that the first one only had 65% capacity and the new one was only 35%. My first battery cost me $175. the new one which was given to me at warranty replacement for $67. Schkelzen Dula said that I had to wait two week to get a new 2012 battery. But before that he lied and told me the new one in my car now was a 2012 battery and not a 2009 battery.
Brought a battery from Bennys in 2017 with a 5yr. Warranty and now there out of business, who do I see about my warranty?
Same problem here. Did you ever find out?
