Woolworths - Pickup order #38793207

So I shop at Woolies for a particular softdrink (Waterfords) and nearly always find low stock on the shelf. We were advised by a staff member to order online that way we could get full boxes of the product.

So did our first online order for pickup between 4-8pm and specifically ordered full boxes of Waterfords & Woolies Mineral Water (12 x bottles per box). I arrived today (26/8/19) about 10 minutes early, and was told quite abruptly by an older lady (sorry didn't get her name - Julie or Julia maybe) that it wouldn't be ready till 4pm. This was fine as I was aware I was early and had a few other items to grab.

4pm rolled around and there were other customers that came after me for pickups that were getting served. Then at about 4.20pm our order finally came out. Well the picture of the trolley full of bottles below was how it came!

I have to have to ask myself when ordering full boxes of spring/mineral water why someone would take them out of the boxes? Firstly it takes 3 times as long to stack in the car, not to mention rolling around in the car, and thirdly just much harder to store in my pantry.

The man that brought it out agreed that it was [censored] and the older lady was just making pathetic excuses and told me not to swear (probably referring to me saying this is [censored]). Then when we said we had other things that we needed to be doing instead of wasting so much time here (which is supposed to be more efficient/time saving) we were told that's not my problem. Hmmm is this lady works in customer service? Might need some training or attitude adjustment! She also tried to say that they may have grabbed them off the shelf and I know for a fact there are never 3 dozen bottles of the Waterfords anything stacked on the shelves (at the Mt Barker store anyway). The idea of ordering online for pickup was so that I could get full boxes of the product rather than have lose items.

Anyway long story short the whole experience was not effective, efficient nor convenient. I asked for a refund as I was not prepared to stack this trolley full of bottles in the back of my car when it should have been in full boxes.
