I RECENTLY ORDERED A SAMPLE (I THOUGHT) OF A FACE CREAM AND MASK FROM THE ABOVE COMPANY. I DON'T REMEMBER ANY WARNING THAT IF I DIDN'T RETURN THE PRODUCTS (UNOPENED) OR CALLED AND CANCELLED WITHIN 10 DAYS THEY WOULD CHARGE MY ACCOUNT $97.88! ALSO I WOULD HAVE TO PAY THE RETURN SHIPPING ON THE ( UNOPENED) PRODUCT. WHEN I CALLED AND ASKED FOR MY MONEY BACK, THE OWNER TOLD ME NO AND RUDELY TOLD ME THE COMPANY POLICY. I FINALLY HUNG UP. CAN I GET MY MONEY BACK? A NEGATIVE REPLY IS AGAINST THE LAW, I UNDERSTAND. ALSO, HAD I SEEN THE PRICE, I NEVER WOULD HAVE ORDERED IT IN THE FIRST PLACE! I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY HELP YOU CAN GIVE ME. THANK YOU, JEANNENE E. JARDINE

I am going thru the same thing..sent the product back, unopened, delivery confirmation...that was back in November. To this day I still have not received a refund, enclosed a note do not send anymore products and I said I did not authorize them to charge my checking acct..nothing at all from them. Which state do we contact the Attorney General? The state one lives in or where they are located?

I am going through the same thing. I am going to return the unused product. I was absolutely floored when I saw on my account that I was charged $99! I did not see that on the trial advertisement! Have any of you had success in getting your money back? How about getting in touch with State Attorney General?

Ladies Aura-Vie is deliberately seducing all of us for a credit card no# to just pay for the shipping.. look at the add again as it appears on Amazon.com...
You'll notice it is NOT stupidity, we are drawn in by trust and also by the hopes it works.. how nice, what a swell company right?
Fixed income or not, poor eyesight or not, 65 and retired or not, they have no mercy! So I'm fighting it. I will not let it rest or let it go... at the very end of their add which I have sent to my attorney, my bank, Face-book and Amazon.. all this blown out of proportion trial products and you pay only shipping... teeny little terms and conditions at the bottom of the page, anyone I mean ANYONE could miss it entirely.
What I am saying here is they deliberately falsely set us up for the $97.88 I was spoken to rudely, I was told DO NOT FIGHT IT! I'LL LOOSE! OK..here you go...http://www.getmyauravie.com/?AFID=166942&SID=241&Click ID=06_[protected]_7da7ac5c-3e53-44d3-800c Anyone who wants to let them walk all over us, it's up to you of course, but those who want their money and their respect back.. lets put a loud LOUD voice out there they wont be ignoring.

AuraVie Skincare aka, Bunzai Media Group, Inc. I have a dispute with this company as well. You can call the Better Business Bureau in Colton, CA at [protected], or file a complaint using this link: http://www.bbb.org/us/Find-Business-Reviews/name/auravie/92324/ There have been 93 complaints filed in the last 3 years; 87 of these complaints have resulted in the consumer’s complaint being “answered and satisfied” (which may mean if you file a complaint they are more willing to refund your money). There have also been 766 inquiries of which only a handful (single digits) have been satisfied. A BBB employee told me they are aware of a pattern developing. They need more complaints filed in order to downgrade the company’s rating. You can also file a complaint verbally via phone (takes about 5 minutes) with the FTC at [protected]. I have also called my State Attorney General’s Office and they directed me to a website to download a complaint form. The BBB also suggested that I post a review at www.trustlink.com.

Their web page also states how they dont return open products. What bull ###. I got a rash from it and called on the 14th day and they refused. Even billed my card for the initial shipping in two seperate transactions instead of one.

I ordered a "free trial" from this company. Please look at their website, tryauravie.com: you can see that the order form is at the top of the site. I filled it in and submitted it. Unbeknownst to me, at the bottom of the website (IF you page down 8 times), in very small print, is a statement about a 10-day trial; if you miss the 10 days, you have subscribed. Because the order form was at the very top, I never bothered to look at the entire site. Not knowing of the proviso, of course I didn't respond within 10 days. A month after ordering the "free trial, " I received a shipment of a month's supplies, for a cost of $97.88. A call to the company was answered by a very determined, stonewalling customer service rep. After repeating several times that their website was in compliance with whatever authority they cited. I repeated that I would not accept the charge, and asked to speak to her supervisor. She said her supervisor didn't take incoming calls; she only called out. After more heated conversation, she finally agreed to cancel my unrequested membership and refund the cost--minus a restocking charge. We'll see. This operation is unethical in the extrme. They should be shut down.

I see complaints like this every day. Unfortunately people do not realize if they are providing their card number for a "trial period" they are usually entering into an ongoing charge for a membership or auto-ship program. Prior to any purchase cardholders should be reviewing the terms to make sure it isn't going to cost them more for an overpriced product. In short maybe we should all say buyer beware! If you are providing a card number for any reason you'll probably end up paying for it out of lack of reading the conditions.

THIS IS OUTRAGES! This happened to me too! I called today to cancel my membership, when I was informed that I am 1 day late to do so (10 days trail) because 10 days started from the day I received package, not a next day! Then, customer service rep said that they already billed my credit card for the product, which I used only once and didn't like it! I am expecting supervisor to call me back in 24 hours. I am sure that there are legal ways to stop this company to do business the way they are currently do.

Same thing; I didn't read the 3 pages of terms carefully, so I will chalk off that 97.85 to stupidity. I called [protected] to cancel my "membership" and expected to get a run-around, no answer, whatever. My call was answered quickly and my account has (hopefully) been cancelled. The rep was polite and business-like. We'll see if it works. I will still cancel my credit card. What a price for stupidity!
