I was very excited to find allcastingcalls.com and I eagerly set about finding new go-sees in hopes of getting a few extra modeling freelance jobs. I was disappointed when I realized the majority of the casting calls were scams. They immediately say you've got the job without even seeing you in person and offer to pay you up front. They then send you obviously fake Money Orders and request that you keep a portion of the money, and send the rest to their 'headquarters' for hair and makeup fees. The latest scammer I talked to was 'John Jefferson' at [protected]@gmail.com. There are several more of these scammers all over allcastingcalls.com. Beware!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I think you just saved me a lot of money. wolbergfirms@gmail.com got a hold of me and wanted me to be a secret shopper. when they offered me 200+$ to cash a 2000+$ check and buy 5 cards at 500$ a piece I got suspicious! thank you!
That IS a scam and it is perpetrated by many other people, not just this particular company. They ask you to scratch or peel each card to get the card number and then make a copy of those numbers and send the numbers to them through Messenger. They do not need anything else to cash out the cards you sent to them...NOT EVEN THE CARDS THEMSELVES Most of the time, they want you to buy ITUNES CARDS. If you already purchased the cards, DO NOT SCRATCH OR PEEL THE DETAILS AND SEND IT TO THEM OR ANYONE ELSE! Cash them out for YOURSELF and put your money BACK INTO YOUR OWN BANK ACCOUNT!
I have been very lucky and booked a few legit jobs from allcastingcalls.com. Maybe next time you find someone who is not legit, you contact allcastingcalls.com so that they can investigate. Good Luck!
