Addvent Fundingpossible mortgage reduction fraud

I paid a $1950.00 fee to this company through one of their brokers to negotiate reduction of my principal mortgage with my bank. This process started in Dec 2010. According to Addvent there are 200 other clients in the bundle of mortgages to be negotiated. All they ever have to say when you are lucky enough to reach the secretary "its still in negotiation with the bank." Repeated attempts to have the company provide proof they are actually doing any negotiation with my bank have not been answered. Their website says Florida clients are entitled to a full refund of fees if not satisfied. There are several complaints already on file with the FL Atty Generals Office. If this company truly has nothing to hide then provide full disclosure!!!

    In mid 2011 I paid for their programs and I would get updates about every month after emailing them. The last email I received was on Oct 27, 2011:

    A couple weeks ago we received notice that Indymac made up timing for the month of August that they had lost with negotiations when the debt crisis arose across the US and the next email we will be receiving will be that finalization date we've been waiting so long to receive. Which means Indymac will be finalized with all negotiations.

    Since then, I've emailed and called and received nothing in reply. The company mailbox has been full for months, so you can't even leave a message.

    Digging around I found the owners name is Scott Britton (sp?), and I was given his cell phone number. I left messages, which were never returned. I called again today, Feb 7, 2012, and it has been disconnected.

    We've been taken. Frankly, I'm surprised the website and toll free number are still functional. They are clearly out of business and hiding from legal action.

    Not to long ago I contacted the broker whom I paid the $1750.00 to and her response was to just call the 800 number which I have repeatedly over the last month at different times of the day and it goes to voice mail and gives instructions to leave a message and they will return the call. Needless to say the mailbox is full and unable to receive anymore messages. I have also sent emails asking for a return call or even a email with no response. I guess my next step is to contact an attorney and go after the broker who took my money.
