Yahoo! advertising bogus companies

I clicked on a rotita.com advert on a yahoo mail page. I then purchased £111 worth of dresses. However, when I received them, they were nothing like advertised on the rotita website and were of very poor quality. I trusted Yahoo that you do not let bogus/fake websites to advertise on your pages. Please stop advertising Rotita on your pages and save other customers from making the mistake I made. You will find abundance of reviews on the web confirming this scam.

Yahoo! yahoo search questionable, disturbing results

I just used Yahoo Search on my homepage, was going to look up a gift for my grandson. All I had typed in was "child" and among the first suggestions that popped up was "children fondling each other"! I was shocked and disgusted. I know you can find anything on the Internet, but never thought that Yahoo would actually be promoting something that sounds like kiddie porn by directing people to it! Can someone tell me why this happened, and how it is going to be changed? If an adult is looking for garbage like this, which I thought is illegal, I'm sure they know how to find it. But, lets say a child wants to look up toy and starts out with child(s)...and this would pop up?

I tried calling this in first, and tried the 800 number several times, and got a message to call back, or that the number was incorrect. I also was unsure as to what catagory I should put this under, and decided that the most appropriate was Sexual Abuse, since that is what the "suggestion" was leading to.

Yahoo! yahoo mail

What is wrong with your mail? It is soooo slow and the advertisements are continually loading which stops all functions and sometimes stops the entire program. Composing an email is impossible. I am three sentences ahead of the print. Very frustrating. I have been with yahoo for 20 some years and am very distressed with mail's performance. If you cannot fix this, I will be forced to go to another mail service.

Yahoo! I cannot view my individual emails

I use chrome, and every time I go into my email account to try to view my emails they will not open. I can click on them forever, and nothing will happen. I have to resort to right clicking them, and then viewing the raw message. That does not always work and it is really pissing me off. Please fix my email. Thank you. My email is [protected]@yahoo.com

Yahoo! mail

I am thinking about abandoning Yahoo. I have stopped using the two step authentication process because my cell phone can't handle it. Now I am constantly pestered to reinstate it. It would seem to me that asking why I stopped using it would be the first order of business.
Recently I e-mailed my wife the Avast key, but I couldn't get to it because Yahoo demanded, no alternative provided, that I change her password and perhaps inflict other damage.
Changing passwords and the two step logon accomplishes what? It makes Yahoo Mail more "secure"? Who cares? What is Yahoo protecting? Not its users.
My attitude might be a bit more mellow if Yahoo had demonstrated any competence, but it has repeatedly released untested code on its community. It has forced features on users.

I also keep getting pop ups stating that my account is out of date.( 30 plus times a day) And I updated my account a couple of months ago. Yet when I click on how to take care of it .They instead ask for my password .Of which is awfully suspicious and makes me think it not Yahoo but some spammer. I have tried to email (no answer), Their Tech support customer service number.(no longer active)or the other one listed wont answer even after 30 rings. I have worked at both retail and whole sale companies. And we were always told to take care of our customers. Not to anger them and do what you can do with in reason. I appears that Yahoo doesn`t think that way. I have been on other sites and it appears that a lot of other people share the same opinion .This is not good for Yahoo.because there are sites that people can go to..In other words it not good for business.

Yahoo! commenting

I am really tired of commenting on an article and having to later search through legions of others comments. You should put the users comment at the top or in a visible place! IN ADDITION, if anyone replies, no notification! I just have to check to see. I don't even see the point of being on yahoo anymore. Your articles suck, I cant see my comments, and my email has been hacked 900 times. please at least fix the comments. No one wants to freaking look through others comments to find their own.

Yahoo! lies and misconceptions.

Everytime I sign on you misrepresent the facts to me. You take an occurrence and completely lie about anything trump. I really see no reason to continue to stay online with you.
Try to direct your company to the truth and a real effort to believing in the united states.
Maybe you are so in line with russia because you a r e. Socialist.

Yahoo! news page

Please put an end to the auto-play videos. Some of us do NOT have unlimited internet and when these videos start automatically, it uses up resources much faster. It's fine for people who have unlimited access but people in the USA don't always have this because of cable companies choking the life out of the bandwidth so they can charge more for higher access.
You could help by removing the auto-start videos.
BTW, why in the hell do you make us click on 2 or 3 pages just to read one stupid story? This makes no sense to anyone. If you can't program you site better than that, you better hire me and I'll show you how to do it. Otherwise, keep it simple. No one likes or cares about fancy html code on a web site like this. They only want to read the news and move on. You can put a link in the story for a video instead.
I'm about ready to move on to another site because of this, and when I do, I'll let your sponsors know that I won't be seeing their ads anymore. In fact, lots of people are doing this (I've read the complaints). You want to be the leading news site? Fix this, and you will be.

Yahoo! blinking top info bar

Just recently the bar on top of the Yahoo homepage with category choices has started blinking at us and we find it extremely annoying. We are senior citizens and hate all these moving, jumping, blinking ads. The ads are bad enough, but to have even the Yahoo homepage itself blinking at us is really the pits. We will have to find another homepage if this keeps up.

Yahoo! unauthorized credit card charges

I clicked on a free trial ad from yahoo. The item was adaptive eye complex by HNJ*COMPELLINGSKIN. I signed up for a free trial/4.95 sample. After I entered my credit card #, the screen flashed "this is not a secure site". So I immediately closed the browser. Now I have been charged 97.37 by this company. I called the number listed on my credit card statement and they say there are no refunds and I did not read all the conditions (they say I was authorizing a subscription but I closed the browser because it was not secure) I did receive the free sample, but nothing else. This product is listed on many websites but none which permit a review (it does not work and appears to be little other than a cheap moisturizer.) I did not authorize the use of this credit card for this amount.

Yahoo! telephone charges for helpline

I was locked out of my account on Thursday 2nd March 2017 and was prompted to call [protected] to seek help with the account. During the beginning of the call I was not made aware of this being a premium rate telephone number, but was told it was not a free phone number. On numerous occasions I requested the free phone number as the call was going on for some time. The lady continually kept me on the line and told me she could fix the error. After 40mins she gave me a free phone number, despite me requesting this at the beginning of the call.
This telephone call has cost me £83 which is absolutely extortionate, especially considering I should have been offered the free phone number at the beginning of the call as I requested.
I have reported this to the police and have been informed that this is not an offcom registered telephone number.

I feel I have been scammed out of my money, especially seeing as all I needed to do was reset my password as my daughter has since discovered!

I demand a refund from your company to cover these call charges, and I want an answer as to why I was not informed of this being a premium rate number. This is not lawful.

Please respond via my telephone [removed] or at [removed]

I will be taking this to the press if I do not receive a response.

Yahoo! mail homepage/news

Hi, I have been a loyal Yahoo user for 15 years, now, and I really don't want to have to get a new account with a different provider, but I am really frustrated with the news headlines that I am getting on the main page. Right now, there is a headline about a man who plead guilty to sexually abusing his infant so bad that she bled into her nappies. Why? Why does this appear on your homepage? Why would you think that I would want to see this when going about my business to check my email? For some reason, this particular story is headline -- celebrity. Why? It's not someone famous. It's not just that, but every third story is about something violent to children. It's horrid.

Also, I don't like that I can no longer adjust the stories I want to see. I don't want to read 50 stories a day on the Love It or List It people and I literally could not care less about the stupid people from Flip or Flop. These headlines I can deal with, it's the insane proliferation of violent stories, particularly against children, that I hate. Knock it off, please. Find other logrithims -- because yours suck.

Father admits manslaughter of three-year-old daughter who suffered sex abuse so violent she bled in nappies
A father has admitted the manslaughter of his three-year-old daughter who suffered sexual abuse so violent that she bled in her nappies. Matthew Lee Williamson pleaded guilty on the grounds he did not seek medical attention for Kyhesha-Lee Joughin in the fortnight before her death. The Brisbane Supreme Court in Australia has heard how she showed Mr Williamson she was bleeding from her bottom, was vomiting green and had obvious bruising across her face.

Yahoo! inbox videos

I am sick and tired of the constant stream of yahoo videos being streamed into my inbox, which are clearly politically biased. I think it is wrong for yahoo to use their platform to continually influence people's views by constantly showing anti-Trump, anti-Brexit, pro-feminist, etc videos. There is no reason why people should even be getting videos in their inbox, but to have them forced on us, and to have ones which are clearly selective and worded in a way that suits yahoo's bias, is utterly wrong.

I agree - propaganda promoters (as if we need more of them!). Please just give us the news, the facts, the sources - and if I can tell which side you support, then it's biased.

I agree, Yahoo is using their platform to shove their political statements in every ones face, there are many internet providers to use and as of today I am changing to another, internet platforms are all free why put up with constant hatred and negativity.

Yahoo! email

For months when I go in to my Yahoo mail account the entire system resets itself because of some problem with email. It constantly asks me if I want to report the problem to Apple. I did that many times before I realized it is not an Apple problem it is a Yahoo problem. Do you have any idea how frustrating it is to begin composing an email and the screen clears? I am sure that none of you really give a damn about any problem people have as long as you're making your money.

The other piece of this mess is that one used to be able to track comments made for particular articles. I would write comments and I was able to read what others had to say about my comments. That apparently was all thrown out the window now too.

Third, there are numerous articles on the Yahoo home page that piqued my interest, however when I clicked on them it was some damn slide show that one had to play the game of clicking a million times just to finish reading the article.

Yahoo, I was pleased when I first obtained my email address with you. Now it is nothing more than an exercise in frustration. I will likely be switching to another way of receiving news and email

Yahoo! articles

I hate not being able to read an article that interest me. Why do you have to spread a paragraph over 4 or 5 pages? It is rare that I can read entire article. It either never loads or crashes. Its dumb if you ask me to do that. Because the headache it causes, then people will stop trying to read your articles. My suggestion is easy reading of articles = more people reading them. Isn't that what you want?

Yahoo! book purchase

I ordered a book on February 21, 2017 from heritagebooksmusic.com. I have not received the book. I have tried numerous times to contact this merchant by email and phone and have not received any type of communication. This merchant has my information and I'm concerned that this place is out of business. Any information you can give me would be appreciated.

Yahoo! yahoo mail

Dear Yahoo.

I'm Lew Chieh Chee ( Yahoo Mail . [protected]@yahoo.com )

first of all I try to find the help respond inside my e-mail which I need to write in for my issues, cant find it... and I only found it here when I search in Google... how ironic...

1. My Yahoo mail password...
I think I wrote in previously about this, for me each morning when I need to log in to my Yahoo mail, I need to pass the manual key in graphic text, then key in few digit in my phone number then Yahoo will send a bunch of text to my phone and I need to key in again, and then before I can use it, 2 pop up saying 'look good'... bra bra bra... I'm terrified with this procedure.. do Yahoo find it funny, complicated? this is what you call user experience kind of thing?... ITS REALLY TROUBLING!

2. Missing e-mail.
Since last week, i don't know what button I pushed, suddenly my previous e-mail all gone, and the only one show was my previous e-mail on 2011... what happen?! any reset or restore button? i tried for hours.. found nothing helpful.

I'm suffering using this.. please help.

Thanks.

Regards,
Lew

Yahoo! comments

I am commenting solely on your comments section although there is so much to complain about with yahoo its laughable. You should just shut your comment section down. Obviously you are not interested in the comments otherwise you would not be making it so extremely difficult to comment. Your banned words are laughable. You can hear President trump saying worse things on Twitter. You refuse to allow someone to re-comment after someone else responds to your initial comment. You are stifling discourse. Often when you either thumbs up or Heart (both systems are viable depending on the news source, which is stupid) it jumps to the top of the page or boots you out of the article. You cannot follow a thread to offer several responses. You have either purposely corrupted the feature or bumbled into further ineptitude in its redesign. In either case you FAIL. So eliminate the feature or fix it. For a Tech company you guys are a claque of buffoons.
