Conversation about nurse in uk being convicted of killing 7 babies
Yahoo, What is so terrible about my last comment that you deemed it a violation of your community standards. I was respectful, didn't use foul language, didn't insult anyone or any group of people and I didn't post any unnacceptable images. Don;t you recognize that censoring this type of speech is not caring for your customers or for community decency, but...

I've been permabanned in comments for no reason. I got an email that said they could find no specific reason why and I would be reinstated. That was a couple of months ago. I am not causing trouble and I see all kinds of foul ragey comments every day. There are all kinds of internet threads about this same situation. Somebody is randomly banning people for no reason.
Desired outcome: Remove the permaban and be fair once in a while.
Openweb
I am also having comment rejection on news articles, issue right now. First I thought maybe a particular person as blocked me from talking to them, so I replied to another person instead, nope, flagged. So then I tried to make a new comment, nope flagged. Also tried simply saying short clean sentences, and even only saying "Hi". Nothing i post on that will go through, while i was previously having a conversation with people.
To clarify further I went to OpenWeb an looked through their help section and found that they simply turn it around back on yahoo. Saying to see the yahoo policy on process for escalating community moderation decisions. MY COMPLAINT IS THERE IS NOT ONE.
We need to be able to either get an explanation for blocked comments, (other than see TOS) and a way to dispute the decision. My comments were clean while the other guy is on there name calling everyone that he doesn't agree with.
I feel this explains clear enough what I am complaining about and offers a concept of creating a solution by a path to allow users to defend their posts and or seek a deeper review. Example If my post was reported by a user which prevents me from posting anything at all, then shouldn't I be able to defend my post, IF they do not violate terms of service. Shouldn't I be given a chance to avoid false reports as to my conduct before being banned from making any posts?
Desired outcome: Shouldn't I be given a chance to respond to false reports against me, before being banned from making any posts? I would like to see a clear path to dispute rejected comments that do not violate policy.
your comment moderators
No matter what I type can be as simple as Hi, or the most recent example regarding an article on organic produce, I comment was relative, positive (no spam, no hate, no false information) and did not violate any of their terms of service, yet immediately it was flagged as violating them. They have attacked me this way now for over 2 years and I am tired of being singled out and bulled.
I appealed and it was rejected. I have done experiments regarding their faulty comment system. I could understand if any of my posts had violated their TOS but I have read and studied them intensely.
I feel that I am now a victim of their system and am being bullied by yahoo and their moderators.
Desired outcome: Allow me to post comments that dont violate your sacred terms of service that are on par with everyone else's comments that you do allow. STOP BULLYING ME!
They do this to support their Far Left Agenda. Very Biased and hateful moderation.

Yahoo comment rejected
In the below linked article:
https://www.yahoo.com/news/sinema-livid-york-receiving-federal-225922966.html
Someone posted a comparison to how much money NY pays to the government to how much AZ pays to the government. I responded with:
"Ofcourse a populated coastal state home to many federal and international institutions would be more prosperous than a landlocked arid border state. NYC is complaining that it needs help with 95k. There are more people in NYC than in AZ whole, so if NYC cant afford 95k, how does one expect AZ to handle 5x that amount. The difference is NYC opens its arms to these immigrants as a declared sanctuary city, the citizens of AZ are trying to stop the flow but are at the mercy of the federal government."
I dont see where this would violate Yahoo's community standard and I cannot find any means to contest or speak with someone at yahoo about it so they can clarify. I have seen death threats, racist comments, and worse all posted to yahoo yet the above gets rejected.
Desired outcome: Transparency on what in a comment violates the rules and a way to respond back and get additional information.
Posting
There is a site referring to the Official Tournament Rose Parade site and when I said it was originally referred to the Wrigley House since 1958, Now when I post anything my messages are declined, What's up. I know this for sure. I am 82 years old, again, what's up, what's wrong with person who is declining me? Everyone from Pasadena and miles around was referred as the Wrigley (chewing gum) house and I elaborated on that. What's wrong with that.
Desired outcome: An apology
Internet news
Today is 7/25/23.
I went on Yahoo to read about today's news as I usually do AND once again your front page is filled with useless and irrelevant news/articles/ videos" about the British Royal Family! This has been happening for a while now. Are we back to being a British colony? Who cares about the British Royal Family? We have our own issues that you can certainly write about to fill your front page. Additionally, we also have our own celebrities if that's the way you want to exclusively go. There is so much to write about... subjects more relevant to OUR country and realities. Why 12 articles on that family on your front page? I did not even include articles on the Sussex's as she is an American, and herself, her husband lives in the US with their +Kids. Is this Yahoo US or Yahoo Britain? Are you being paid by the British media to excessively post about them? They already excessively write about the Royal Family in their country(Honestly, I could care less about what they do over there), but we do not need that nonsense in our country(USA). Enough! Do I need to start a petition complaining about this? By the way, I am NOT the only person noting this... It is becoming extremely intolerable.
The Royal Family frenzy is NOT an American thing, do NOT make it one.
Desired outcome: Focus on US news. You can of course post relevant foreign news, but having overwhelming amount of articles on the British Royal Family is nonsense.
Charging "twice" in same month for my yahoo small business website account
My site is with Yahoo and is https://www.karenlyster.com/ - I have been using this for years. All of a sudden YOU are charging twice per month instead of just once. I have heard others complaining of the same thing. The payment usually comes out around the 16th of each month. But you have charged "again" on the 6th for the exact same thing. I'm attaching a photo of my visa which shows those payments. Please refund the money you have taken and resolve this issue.
Desired outcome: PLEASE REFUND and I'd appreciate a response as to what on earth is going on, my email is [protected]@gmail.com

I am beyond my wits end. I have had my Yahoo email address for 21-22 years & have never had an issue that I can remember. I go to sign in & I get a message about unusual activity. First, there is no unusual activity with my email or in my emails. I've got a lot of emails that need to be deleted but that's it. I opt for the send code to recovery email. Nothing. I tried everything even different browsers no code sent. Tried over & over thru the day and that night. Tried phone number, nothing. Then I noticed that my recovery email was .com when it is .net which you would think would translate it to .net since Yahoo, Aol & Netscape are all part of the same company. Thru the sign-in helper I changed it to .net. No code sent. So I finally called the help number spent time on phone with them told me they could help me. We went thru some steps gave him my emails etc., all I needed was a code sent to recovery email. At the point of solution time, I'm told I have to pay. Seriously? I have to sign up for your paid service to get a code sent to my account a one time thing? The only thing that needed to be done was to change the recovery email from .com to .net, that's all, nothing else. Once I got in I could go in & update profile etc.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate this getting fixed. Shouldn't have to pay for premium service to have .com changed to .net so a code could be received.
monthly charges for nonexistent email account
I have a recurring $5 per month charge for yahoo mail plus but I do not have an active yahoo account. I cannot find a way to cancel the service as it can be done only online (scam) and it requires account information which to the best of my knowledge does not exist.
This is a purposeful scam that makes it extremely difficult to cancel. Bring on the FTC and Yahoo deserves a hefty fine.
Desired outcome: Refund of all Yahoo charges.
Message boards
I am pretty sure that Yahoo employs either some kind of super-ultra-christians or just everyday fascists. Regardless, their censorship of their message boards is a good re-definition of the term insanity. Using a term like 'idiot', or even referring to a person by their given name ('Nimrod'), you will be censored. If Yahoo wants to keep the message board, keep them. Who gives a toss what somebody types. If you agree, fine. If not, fine. Who cares? This is the internet - we are not trying to solve for world peace here.
Desired outcome: Either keep the message boards and allow free speech or get rid of them all together.
Planter boxes
ON April 29th I ordered planter boxes from an advertiser on your site and paid $49.97 USD for 3 planters that never showed up. The advertiser was called Taino. When I try to contact them they don't exist anymore. Currently you have an ad for the same product I bought with the same pictures from a company called Caredy which I assume is also another shill company. How can I have them removed from your ads? Thankyou, Fred Fuller.
Desired outcome: These companies should not be advertising on your site. Can I get a refund?
comments section censorship
Yahoo has blocked my comments. I no longer have access to read any comments on stories as well.
Interesting; They allow sexist, racially-motivated and hate seech to flourish, but calling it like it is and telling the truth is banned.
I have had comments like, "Wishing you well", "She looks great; good for her!" and "Keep spewing your lies and hate and see where it gets you" denied.
Now I can no longer see comments. They allow sexist, racist comments and allow men to make degrading comments about women's bodies, but can't handle a litlle truth in the mix.
Desired outcome: THey need to respect the first amendment and use the same rules for Everyone, not just selectively. Apologize and reinstate. Is it still a free country?
Provide access to account.
I have been communicating with Yahoo for the past month and am now very frustrated by the process. Yahoo Customer Care cut me off from support last week because I dared to challenge Yahoo's security processes. The majority of the information is in the email below that I haven't had a reply to. The thing I don't understand is why Yahoo thinks asking for exactly the same information twice establishes my identity. I could have been anyone with access to this account and the previously sent information - this is below. Yahoo told me they had verified my identity and I was about to get access again.
Then a Yahoo staff member added my French phone number to my account, without my knowledge. I did not give this number, I suspect they added it to my account when they told my account was deactivated and I had to start a new one - clearly a lie. By that time I was in England. The phone number and Sim can only be used in France. I am not going back to France. This phone number has no use as a verification tool. I really need access to this account as it is the username for so many accounts and I can't reset any passwords or use it for MFA. I would also like to know how to make a formal complaint at Yahoo. I have been trying to recover my account for nearly a month and Yahoo has been very unhelpful.
Yahoo mail customer support
On 01/05/2023 suddenly my account have been blocked. I tried to get in and asked me to put an verification code to an other email which is real and belongs to my sister. The matter is that the verification code doesn't appear. It is very important to me to gain access to this e-mail because I had files with keys of products I had bought in the past. Also is my basic email for dozens of site entries. Please help me... To recover my email account again..
Censoring Comments
The censoring is so bad that I can't type in the name of a member of the board of directors of a publicly traded company. My post is rejected whenever I type his name. The censoring is so bad that if you have a differing viewpoint about a company stock/if it is not the popular opinion, hucksters can coordinate reporting a post and the poster gets banned. Even if it is popular opinion, reports get entered to ban a user. Your well intentioned censoring is degrading your website. I won't be back.
Desired outcome: I'd appreciate a response and a change in your censorship.

Someone monitoring my inputs from the "parent" company here and instantly rejecting harmless comments that do not violate any policy...imagine that. They've assigned someone to watch over everything I say.

Yahoo/AOL
Date: on-going
Since Yahoo took over AOL (amongst other entities), the amount of spam mail in my inbox has increased beyond recognition. Despite having changed my privacy settings, I am still being inundated with stuff that I do NOT wish to see & is also irrelevant. I spend an inordinate amount of time each day sifting through my spam folder because just occasionally, bloody Yahoo will send a legitimate e-mail to spam.
A complaint to their Customer Service was not answered - although I did receive a survey request asking me if I was happy with their response.
What a load of BS.
Desired outcome: Please look at my request to remove the real SPAM junk from my inbox and set your blasted algorithms to differentiate between these.
Comment section replies
Hi,
The algorithm used by Yahoo notifies a "Reply" to a "Comment" but the algorithm does not allow a reply to a reply whereby:
there's a link to reply to the reply at the bottom of the email notification but the link simply takes one to a glimpse of the replied comment and then instantaneously to the original article; hence there's no chance of finding the reply to which one would like to add or reply.
This has occurred repeatedly dozens of times in numerous cases.
Fostering thoughts to repost one's original comment a 2nd (or more) times with the reply to the reply embedded, a great waste of time.
Yahoo should better address this detail on replying to replies.
Thank you.
Desired outcome: When one clicks on their notification icon where it states "reply to 'so-n-so'", that icon-link should take one to the reply and stay there, period, so that one can reply to the reply.
Comments
I have been very careful of my current comments. In one case I answered "Thanks for your reply" to a statement. It was automatically rejected. I tried two other benign reply's and comments and all were instantly rejected. In another Sports illustrated picture I commented " Very Nice looking"----rejected. I Put "Stunning"----Rejected. It appears that someone decided that they didn't like what ever free speech I was displaying. In another instant I copied and pasted three words from YAHOO's article and it was rejected. Most anyone in the world would call this HYPOCRISY
Desired outcome: REINSTATE MY ABILITY TO COMMENT AND REPLY
