I had visited both locations in Sioux City, Iowa, Stores 3275 and 3973. I have to say that the atmosphere at these locations are completely different. I would like to start with Store 3275. Managed by Rick Konz. This man deserves acknowledgement for his excellent customer service. He has gone above and beyond to help WestRock in Sioux City. I appreciate all he has done and the extra lengths he goes to for his customers.
As for the Store 3973. I am severely disappointed in the service myself and the community is receiving at this location. I first went in person to this store, and was abruptly disregarded with some technical jargon about not being able to cross a paint code. Now, I know that sometimes things are difficult to find, or cross reference, but to use that as an excuse to not try, is unacceptable. Then I did a couple more hours of research, and emailed the Assistant Manager Manuel Olivarez-Monjaraz a logo design with paint codes attached. Of which was ignored by Mr. Olivarez-Monjaraz. I later went back to the store on my way home from work, several hours later, to get the same story. I quick barely 2 minute explanation about the wrong kind of code. I am not accusing Mr. Olivarez-Monjaraz of being lazy, or anything else, but being unprofessional. I would expect a store managed in the location as this store is in would be quite a bit more professional.
Mr. Konz was able to, within 15 minutes or less respond to my email with the appropriate paint from the paint codes, I sent to in email and in person to Mr. Olivarez-Monjaraz. In the future I will personally and professionally be doing business with Mr. Konz at the 3275 Store. Even though it is on the other side of town and an additional 30-minute plus commute.
