Bad service and employees lack of knowledge
I went to pep clothing at keywest mall as there was something I wanted to purchase, I had I voucher that I received from a competiton of plusmore. The cashier just told me she doesn't know how to redeem it, I must contact their customer care line. Called their supervisor who also said the same thing to me. I also work at a retail store and if there is something I don't understand I call my head office to get clarity so that my customer leave the store happy and satisfied. I feel they failed me

I just cannot sleep without praising your staff member from Pep home in Rosebank. During the day today I went to buy a home connect cellc sim card, everything was fine I went home, and when I start inserting the sim, it gave the error message of no sim. After a few tries with no win I decided to go to Cell hoping to get a sim swap but I didn't win and they sent me to go back to pep. I went there and found the lady, I think her name is Jabulile. I explained to her my problem she was patient with me asking the relavant questions and to cut the long story short she called the cellc call Centre, exchange was done and I was given a new working sim card. I would like to say to Jabulile,thank you so much. It is because of people like who makes our country beautiful. Thank you so much

No respect from your staff at jabulani branch
There is someone called kamu working at pep cell at jabulane in soweto. I am sure she is one of the reasons why pep store in naledi was shut down because she has a very poor customer service and no regard for people who walk in there to spend their money which goes towards paying their salary. She needs to be taught some respect and appreciation for customers. I was there other day when she sent me to shoprite for sim purchase and said i must come back so she could do [rica] for me. I could not get any help as they said they could not help either. Went i went back to pep cell she said i must produce my id and proof of address which i did previously. I was suprised when she said it was not certified but she accepted it like that before when i bought a telkom sim card, i indicated to her that she was wasting my time and she started to get annoyed and said [next customer] as i was still first in the queue/waiting line. She needs to be taught some ubuntu and she also has to be shown how to conduct herself in front of customers. She is very rude and unprofessional. I have put all this on all social media platforms for everyone to see. I wonder who place these people at pep stores because i was even served by another called nthabiseng at the same store. She has no smile on her face and looked bothered when i bought (spent) some voucher.
Angry and disappointed in pep store manager and staff
I work in the mall of chatsworth center and i have a problem walking so i walked into pep stores looking for baby things for my nieces baby which will be born soon . I was going to buy the whole line of clothing for a newborn baby .
I walked in with a basket trolley as mentioned i worked in the mall as it helps me balance and told the manger i will be about 5 mins for now just to look and i will be back
point blank i was refused to be let inside and told no trolleys inside and i explained i have a problem with my leg please allow me for 5 minutes and again was refused and was told so if you have a problem with your leg walking how you working which was offensive.
I am 50+ and my balancing is a problem.
Im very hurt and disappointed as to the manner i was treated nobody even the manager asked if i needed any help .

Brought a phone that's has problem with Sim cards
I brought a phone 25 october 2024 at Bedworth vereeniging 78 Cassandra 1939 p8725. the phone had problem with the network even if you change the Sim card and buy a new one still it says emergency or no service .They said it will change. And if not I should return it.
I return the phone 26 october 2024 and they said they can't help me with anything it's not they problem as long as the phone is switching off and on its fine on there side.
Meaning it's my problem.. I lost my money just like that please kindly help

Kindly assist with teaching your staff to be better with how they handle their customers.
This lady 'Nonsikelelo' asks for a picture with me, when i refused, she proceedered to tell me to look at her so in future she knows my face as to refuse me money when i do widrawals in the future.
I told her what she's saying is wrong then she proceeded to tell me "angikusabi" meaning she's not afraid of me.
That was the most disgusting display of customer service i have ever seen.

Good day, I am writing a complaint for the staff at pep home in kokstad regional centre I went to collect a parcel today and the absolute discusting attitude of your staff is unacceptable!, its not the first time I have had to deal with such attitude, they could not locate my parcel, from picking thier noses to insulting me and making jokes about me as a customer in thier native tongue (they didnt realise I am fluent in xhosa and zulu) they assumed because I was white it was safe to do so, absolutely shocking customer service! I bought a phone at Pep cell Jubilee Mall. The handset has problems with network,it has a radio shshsh sound when I am on a call and the battery dies fast.I bought it on the 14th December 2023 then returned it on the 16th
of the same month and the cashier refused to take it back saying that they have alot of complaints from their workshop saying they take phones that are not faulty to them.She doesn't see a problem with the phone and she cannot take it back.

The cell phone was bought at pep cell in Claremont Cape Town on the 5th September 2023. after two weeks i noticed that it would just switch off by itself, but thought i might have accidentally done it. then on the first sun in November after a short run in the suburbs with my phone, i found that it had again switched off this time it wouldn't start up again, i tried charging it, perhaps the battery was flat but it still wouldn't switch on.
i returned it to the store, explained what had happened, also said that i am unemployed, started something small at home, but the phone is my source of income, i was told it would take 2 to 3 months..
i followed up on this twice already , each time they do not know what i am talking about. yesterday i called the store, had to explain everything again, the manager said she will call be back in a few min, she never did

Stylo air smartphone
I bought the STYLO AIR "smartphone" from the PEP Home at Ridgeview Shopping Centre (Shop 1, Ridgeview Shopping Centre, 200 Ouklip Rd, Helderkruin, Johannesburg, 1724) about 2 months ago.
It specifies that this smartphone has 2GB of RAM but is the slowest and most unreliable smartphone I have ever owned! I have an old Samsung smartphone with 1.5GB of RAM which runs faster than the STYLO AIR.
Yes, the STYLO AIR is a budget smartphone, however, with 2GB of RAM it should run smoothly and not as slow as it does.
I hoped that a software update would solve this problem but this STYLO AIR smartphone is up to date and still operates very slowly.
I would like a refund as this STYLO AIR smartphone does not operate as fast as a smartphone with 2GB of RAM should.
I am going back to the PEP Home at Ridgeview Shopping Centre as soon as they open this morning at 9 am to get a refund and I really hope that I am refunded.

Stylo atlas phone
This phone is absolute [censored] even as I am typing right now it's jamming
1. Speaker doesn't work properly and is choppy when I play music I literally have to restart the whole phone and even that doesn't work sometimes.
2. Fingerprint sensor isn't working: A few weeks ago my fingerprint sensor was working but but now it's not, I tried removing my current fingerprint but as soon as I did that the fingerprint setting completely disappeared from my phone I tried everything even factory reseting the phone but still nothing
3. Overall the phone itself if is a piece of [censored] because whenever I turn on my data or when I receive a notification it starts lagging and freezing up and the it's not compatible with a lot of apps which is very annoying and it doesn't have important features like display over other apps

Pep at malvern jules, the service I got from asanda and her manager lindiwe/lindelwa was the worse... 1stly the cable that I wanted to buy had wrong pricing actually all of the pricing was faulty, they couldn't apologize all they did was to give me a attitude I asked the cashier asanda what's her managers name and surname did she not give me a dirty look and said "she doesn't know... Whose fault is it if the pricing says r49,99 then you get to the till the price goes up... Am I the one who has to make sure that products are priced correctly?
