Dollar General phone card did not accept return

I purchased a simple mobile card in dollr general store #4125 at5957 E Va. Bch Blvd Before i buy This card i just clearly talk to the cashier that if i donot used the card can i return it witth my reciept cahier name is Caitlin She make sure that they will accept it

After 12 days i did not used the card so i went there to return it because im with my speed mobile now But the cashier not Caitlin refuses it i bring my original receipt she just call some one with the cellphone to hear to me that no return

This is a call from everyone dont trust the cahier they are all lier

Dollar General service

Hello I was at the Punxsutawney PA Hampton Ave DG last night...I was at the register and the employee refused to check me out ..I was told I had to use the self check out...I do not use the self checkouts .. she insisted and went as far as taking my items to the self checkout and started to do it herself. She was very rude and said they had to do a large percentage of self checkouts. I was upset and said forget it and left the store empty handed and went to Family Dollar. I know the self checks out are good for some customers. It should be a choice not a demand. The clerk was rude and would not do HER job. I will not return to DG if I have to do self check out, Thank you

Dollar General Employee named Wendy in Kingsland, TX

My name is Jaime Crawford. I have been contacted by several people who will be lodging complaints as well about a Wendy asking for donations to bury her dead son. She doesn't have a son. The person she is trying to collect for my deceased son. His funeral has already been paid for and has been buried for several months as well. She has been told to stop defrauding the community. I will be contacting the local Sheriff Department as well. This is a small community, so everyone knows everyone. I don't think she would think it got back to me. If she has collected any money, it needs to be returned to the rightful people. If not, I will pursue charges on her for fraud and theft. That money doesn't belong to her nor does she deserve it. She is using your company name and customers to benefit her fraudulent intentions. I will not stand idly by while she is trying to gain monetary value from my son's murder. Dollar General Paycheck

I was working for the dollar general in Bayard Ne about 15 minutes from Melbeta ne. My bank account had been over drawn and they closed my account and because of that I did not receive my paycheck for the week of November 6th to November 12th. It took two weeks and because I hadn't received it, I was unable to make it to work Thus resulting in my termination due to the fact that I did not have gas to make it in on my next shift.

Dollar General I was fired for wrongfully reason

I was fried due to a customer came in the store and ask to put money on his cash app and he did have the money in his hand as I when to reach for the money he said no I am going to put on my card but I already hit the button. he knew just what he was doing as you can see on camera I started to precede after him but I stop due to I was putting myself in danger so I stop and call my boss but she didn’t answer for about three hours and I also call cash app myself. trying to stop the process so If I was a bad employee why did I get fried my Boss Said my door was short but thats a lie she brought was covering for her man which is the store [censored]. manger now isn’t that again store policy? I am a hard working woman and I didn’t deserve-to be fried I was the only employee in the store in the morning from 8:00 till 1:00 that is not protocol for one person to be in the store along is it? I can go on and on Hell why she was home sick I took four bank deposi to the bank for her. I never got training for nothing and I work at normand store I never had a problem so why is it that it was at her store? setup thats what that Was. I am willing to work and I had ask for a

transfer before this.

Dollar General Compensation

I have been with the company for 3 yes now but on Thanksgiving day I was told I needed to find another place to live so I contacted my manager that I needed the next day off and would be contacting hr she put me on schedule anyway so again told her I need day off would be contacting hr, in return she text me she was going to terminate me, told her again no I wanted a transfer, district manager Kelly told her to fire me. Dollar General I wish I could buy diet sunkist soda at Dollar General.

I live in Marshall, Mo. Wish our store had diet orange soda. Competitors don't keep in stock for very long. Maybe it is a small town problem. It would be nice to have a new bigger store in Marshall. Newer stores have more space in isles. Its getting harder to walk with people sharing same space.

Thanks for putting the self checkout in, It helps speed things up.

Dollar General Horrible customer service at dollar general on pike in north little rock, #12953

On wednesday, nov. 23, 2002, I went to the neighborhood dg and I picked up $30 worth of items, went to the check stand and was asking the cashier about a pack of cigarettes, she picked up the wrong item because she was not listening to me, I spoke louder so she could hear me and she said "you don't have to yell." I said "i'm not yelling, you didn't hear me so I spoke louder." she made a deep sigh and said "in about two seconds i'm going to cancel this transaction." I said "fine, keep all this stuff" she called me a [censored] and I called her a [censored] back. As I was on the way out the store I realized I still had a package of coffee in my hands and didn't want to be accused of stealing so in my anger I threw the package to her and she caught it and continued to call me a [censored] as I left the store. This all happened at around 8:00 a.M.

Check the video and you will see the whole transaction and what bad customer service she delivered. I will never shop at this store again! But I also think she should be fired. I don't know her name, but again if you check the security video for the store #12953 at 8:00 am, you will see the whole thing.

Desired outcome: SHE SHOULD BE FIRED.

Dollar General Prepaid cards not working

I had purchased 3 gift cards for $500.00 ea. I have photo of front and back and of all 3 receipts. 2 of the 3 cards had issues and could not charge on for the balances. I I have 1 card with a remainder of $420.78 and another card for $500.00 never used. I was told that without the original receipt there is nothing that they can do. I was the purchaser on my credit card and as stated have front and back of cards unopened with copys of receipts. When I call the for help they hang up, this happened to myself, my secretary and as well as your store manager when I phisically took them to the store I purchased them from. I need some immediate attention on this.

Dollar General Awful Disgusting Milk

We purchased dollar general brand milk today the clover valley! Never in my life will I ever buy it again ever! It is the most disgusting milk I’ve ever had! To me it taste almost like the smell of raw eggs! I almost got sick from the taste. It was in date not spoiled , sealed. My cats won’t even drink it🤔! Disgusting isn’t even a good enough word to describe it honestly!

Dollar General FedEx Pickup Service

I dropped off a FedEx package at the DG on Hwy 394 in Bluff City, TN on Thursday 11-17-22 and it sat there until today 11-21-22 when I went back (for the 3rd time) and made the kid give it to me so I could take it to Walgreens, where they have competent employees who know how to scan in packages. This isn’t the first time I’ve had to go back there to check on a package that wasn’t picked up. The kid who is always working will NOT scan it in when dropped off. He makes you write down your phone number so he can enter it whenever he gets around to scanning it in. Today his excuse was that FedEx had not been there since last Wednesday and his scanner was broken. How about reporting it broken so it can be repaired or replaced? And FedEx probably hasn’t stopped by because there has been nothing scanned so they think there are no pickups there. My package could have already arrived had it been scanned on Thursday but due to his lack of concern and incompetence, it’s just going out today. Unacceptable! If you offer this service, train your employees on the procedures so the service actually works!

Desired outcome: Training employees on handling FedEx drop offs if you offer the service.

Dollar General Disrespectful store managers

I used to enjoy this store out of the many of them in my area this was my favorite. Until I could hear them cursing loudly screaming across the aisles at each other speaking very loudly and poorly on the other associates. The worst of all was the supervisor Jennifer she always had this poor attitude, and her children ran through the store daily. It has been many times I have even seen these children take items and run out of the store with no intention of returning to pay for them. Most days this "manager is sitting in the back of the store never eager to help customers and when she does, she is the rudest of them all. She has on many occasions laughed at the disabled that have come in assuming that no one was paying attention to her ignorance. Being that my brother and cousin are both disabled It really breaks my heart to see people do this, as for her assistant manager Freda she is also a manager that doesn't know how to speak to other associates or customers. The customer can be older or younger and she doesn't care how things are said or expressed. Again, she has a bad habit of taking things that she doesn't pay for. Walking out the door like no one every pay attention. I am a huge fan of discounting, so I am always at this store but if they aren't dealt with, I honestly refuse to ever shop at any dollar general again. I mean what supervisor do you know gloats about not ever getting fired because she's been with the company over 10+ years and knows how to do things the "right way"? I honestly am disgusted with this store and my last time going which wasn't long ago I have decided it'll be my last time until things are resolved. I have also spread the word about this store to several of my colleagues to never attented this store under any circumstances until this problem is fixed

Desired outcome: My desired outcome would be for them to be let go and new management to come in and refurbish this entire store.

Dollar General Rude Employee

There is one particular employee at store #9096 in Theodore, AL (Fowl River) who really needs to be terminated. (Alexa or Alicia--her name begins and ends with an A) I have on numerous occasions witnessed her speaking rudely and distasteful to customers, gossiping about customers amongst the other employees while also working the register, and even trying to engage customers who I assume she knows personally into the drama and gossip she started! I have also witnessed her myself, walking out of the store behind customers she had confrontation with in the store, into the parking lot to continue arguing and bickering with them! Is this really the kind of people Dollar General hires? Is this how Dollar General wants their employees to behave and treat their customers? I know myself and the people in my community would be delighted to see some disciplinary action take place and this employee terminated from the company and store #9096 so that we can enjoy shopping here again!

Dollar General service

I am an African-American and when I go to the checkout I receive rude service; at store # 697 Surry VA. Red Head older lady (Manager ) and my money is snatched from my hand! There will be a Family Dollar and dollar tree coming across from store I will be using this from now on. very rude you need to take control of this store, she was rude with another lady while there, this is not a onetime thing. It is all the time they take breaks all the time and treat there employees who quite all the time and customers bad... I will be driving 15 min down the road to support another store if I have to last year I spent over 2ooo dollars at this store it will end today.

Desired outcome: Fire this person. Let the black headed lady be manager. Rudeness should not be rewarded.

Dollar General Condition of Harrodsburg, KY Dollar General stores

I am submitting a complaint regarding the lack of help that the Harrodsburg, Ky stores currently have and have had over the last few years.

Someone needs to come to every store in Harrodsburg and help the poor couple of employees that the company has working for them. It is a disgrace that this company will not hire more people or have some people from corporate come to help.

The number of carts sitting around in each store FULL OF MERCHANDISE that cannot be stocked on to the shelves is RIDICULOUS! The store located at the Beaumont Plaza in Harrodsburg is so indescribable. There is no way you can even shop at this store, carts of merchandise EVERY WHERE blocking isles. It is so trashy looking it is embarrassing. It is not the employees' fault that things can't be stocked in a timely manner. It is corporates problem!

You would think that DG corporate would have a little more pride in their stores and business than they do.

There needs to be more than two employees at each store. There needs to be a team of people. Some to cashier and some to stock shelves. I feel sorry for the employees that are employed by you; it isn't fair to them to be required to work in conditions such as these stores are in. Just PITYFUL!

I purchased 4 bottle drinks in the advertisement did not say you couldn't mix so purchased Dr. pepper products and Coke bottles and the deal said 4 bottles for 10.00 dollars I don't notice it but when I got home looked at the receipt was charged 4.25 each then 4.75 for the other products I went back to the store but was told no manager ave to come back on...

Dollar General Dollar General parking lot at 475 E 200th st, Euclid Ohio 44119

Good afternoon,

I have been going to this Dollar General location & others for many years.

I have enjoyed your stores a lot. You seem to have mostly what I want & need.

I have visited your store on 475 E 200th St in Euclid, Ohio 44119 many times.

I have noticed the parking lot have for at least a year or more have huge holes in it & at one time when water was covering the huge holes i believe that my car was damage underneath because of not knowing there was holes until the rainwater went away. I have complained to the manager several times & seems they do not know what to do but say to call Dollar General.

I would like to know if you all are aware of this parking lot problem & when would it be repair?

I would like to get my job back at dollar general I have applied in farwell and now I keep getting notified that you guys need help. I did not have no attitude so the clare manager lied to you all when she let me go. And I was never told bout how much time I was to have for the test or cdl's I have to take in order to be hired.
