This store allowed someone to purchase two expensive laptops with all of the bells and whistles, while I was in a coma, in a local hospital. When I returned home and saw the charge on my capital one credit card, I went to the store. Neither the store or the credit card company did anything, so my advice, avoid these two companies and lock up your credit cards before u go to the hospital....

In the store July 4, I ordered a Sonos Connect Amp. I opened a Best Buy Credit card to receive a discount. The item was to be shipped in 3 business days. It never arrived. When I called to inquire, I was told they would send out another one immediately. They then called back to tell me the item was no longer available and would credit my account. This salesperson displayed a total lack of interest in helping my wife and I, answering every question I had with a one word answer and failing to tell me virtually anything about the product (a sound bar for my T.V.), I was trying to purchase. On a recent road trip I decided to stop at Best Buy in Rosenbrg, Texas and purchase an Escort Passport Max radar detector well I thought I had hit the jackpot when I noticed the price was $275 exactly 50% off I was elated well when I asked the salesperson for one he came back and said he didn't have any in stock and checked nearby stores and no luck. I purchased a brand new iMac almost 3 years ago, and a Geek Squad Protection plan (GSP) for 4 years ( cost me $400 for the protection plan), that included hardware failure with the GSP. When my wireless keyboard would not open to change the batteries I took it to the Geek Squad, they said they can't fix it and wrote me an order to have a new one shipped to me. after a month and a half I looked and the order was no longer "processing". I called and found out someone had cancelled the order. I called the store and they blamed the parts store. Then the parts store sent me this letter:

I tried to purchase a Samsung refrigerator (model no. RF26HFENDSR | SKU: 8815004) from their website bestbuy.com, but kept getting a reply that they "do not deliver" to my area. I tried to order via phone, but they found the same problems. Also said zero stores for pick up, too. When I know best buy has stores in my area.
The zip codes I used were for Portland, OR and for Vancouver, WA, ! Please.
The fridge was advertised at $999.99, a savings, per bestbuy.com, of 50% when I tried to buy it.
That was until today.

I recently purchased a R-S201 receiver and a pair Yamaha speakers from Best Buy in Lafayette, LA. I asked the sales person if these speakers would work with this receiver, of course he swore they would! Well guess what according to Yamaha they WILL NOT! Best Buy - you should know better! Read the damning series of events below. You just lost a customer.

Bought three cell phones at Best Buy and included Geek Squad insurance for each phone. Was never told there was a 150.00 deductible although I was told I did sign an acknowledgement. Don't remember that at all. My daughter also bought a phone at the same time and she does not remember anyone saying anything about the deductible.
Found this out when I took one of the phones in to have a cracked screen fixed. I would need to pay 150.00 to repair the screen when I can have Samsung replace it for 162.00. I am paying 10.61 a month for insurance that will only save me about 15.00 on the repair....

I was disappointed when we tried to exchange a video my daughter received for her birthday. She got 2 of the same movie, and one was labeled with a Best Buy tag. It was still wrapped, and the store was unwilling to exchange it for store credit, without a receipt. I bought a 50" Insignia LED TV on November 10, 2013.
Technically, Black Friday is today, November 29th. And on my receipt it states that:

"Our Lowest Price Guarantee excludes limited quantity prices on Black Friday and Cyber Monday (Nov 29 Dec 2) and Boxing Week."

So, then Best Buy HAS to honour the Lowest Price Guarantee on November 30th and December 1st, correct? As the same TV I bought is on sale for 3 days and not just Black Friday November 29th.

I bought a Dell computer from BestBuy and it was an no interest payment - so when I received my last statement I noticed a interest charge for 12 months and I was stunned.
I wrote the last check of $23.19 and sent it to the CEO Mr. Joly - took them 2 weeks to cash the check. They ignored my compalint on the interest.

Stay away from this company - they are a bait and switch company -dishonest - the people in corporate will not reply to you at all. Zero Customer service...

I tryed to pick up my computer this afternoon but it happened to be under my mothers name they told me, after have been waiting in a long line and a employe skipped over me in line and when brought to his attention did nothing that my mother had to be their I said she can't because if her work schedule. Is their any way I can't get it since I am the one who dropped it off. They said no and were very ride worst customer service ever!!! I understand their is a policy but it a computer it's easier to pick up a car form a dealership than a computer really!!?!!!?!??!?

I am now seeking both criminal charges as well as compensation. They bullied and blackmailed me until I called the Police, then they humiliated me too. I took my computer in for repair at the Best Buy store at Kings Plaza on Avenue U and Flatbush Ave. in Brooklyn, NY. They sent it out under warranty and I also told them in addition to hardware, the recovery disk never burned right, so I needed a new recovery disk.

It came back, I tried to pick it up today (6/13/13), I owe no money cause all repairs are covered. They refused to give me a new recovery disk even though it did not burn...

So I got this laptop (Asus) in around February and the guy said it was all new and all even tho he took it off of the desk where you can test the laptops at first I didn't want it but the dude kept saying its new and it's works great so I payed 600-700$ and then when I got home it wasn't working that well. It wouldn't charge completely and when it did it would shut off and not turn for 2 hours I had this laptop for about 4 months now and it doesn't charge anymore until the next day.
So while I was waiting for it to start working again I got the box for the laptop...

Best buy always provided a lamp for and installation of my DLP TV. I ordered the lamp through best buy and the technician said to call back when I received the lamp and called Best Buy.

They said that since I didn't set up the installation time with the purchase of the lamp, they would not come out to install the lamp. They flatly refused. I told them the technician told me to call back. Best Buy's response was we are not coming out to install your lamp.
