September, 2023, my daughter and I signed a contract with Susan Sember and John O’Reilly, doing business as Silverlight Press and Silverlight Films. For a fee they were to publish two oversized, coffee table books that had been self-published earlier. The previous books are very popular, and very expensive today because they are out of print. The contract was to redesign, edit, print, budget and report, and market those two books by November, 2023, and for a period of 10 years. As of today we only have one book printed, over $22,000 in copies of sales receipts since April, 2025, and no royalties. Susan, John, and/or Silverlight have not paid us anything for the sale of the books we have sold nor is the second book in processs. It has been over one year of selling one book, and two and ½ years of holding the second book. We would not recommend using her and the companies as your publisher.
