Re: Formal Wage Complaint – Unpaid Wages
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to formally file a wage complaint against Northeast Georgia Medical Center regarding unpaid compensation for work that was completed and submitted in accordance with the employer’s requirements.
I was employed by Northeast Georgia Medical Center (Employee ID: 51949) until my resignation in February 2026. Prior to my separation, I completed all required components of the Respiratory Care Ladder Program and submitted my project on December 31, 2025, to Paige Hull, Respiratory Care Manager at Braselton Hospital.
The project was formally reviewed on March 23, 2026, confirming that all program requirements had been satisfied. Despite fulfilling all requirements and submitting the work on time, I have not received the corresponding payment in the amount of $9,600.00.
I have made multiple attempts to resolve this matter directly with the employer; however, payment has not been issued.
I respectfully request that the Georgia Department of Labor investigate this matter and assist in the recovery of the unpaid wages owed to me.
I am prepared to provide supporting documentation, including proof of submission, confirmation of review, and relevant communications.
Thank you for your time and assistance.
Sincerely,
Michael Santiago

Re: FINAL DEMAND FOR PAYMENT – Respiratory Care Ladder Program
To Whom It May Concern,
This letter constitutes a final formal demand for payment of wages owed to me in connection with the Respiratory Care Ladder Program.
I was employed by Northeast Georgia Medical Center (Employee ID: 51949) until my resignation in February 2026. Before my separation, I completed all required components of the Respiratory Care Ladder Program and submitted my project to Paige Hull, Respiratory Care Manager at Braselton Hospital, on 31 December 2025. The project was formally reviewed on March 23, 2026, confirming that all program requirements had been satisfied.
Despite full compliance with all program conditions, I have not received the $9,600.00 ladder payment that constitutes earned compensation for work completed before my separation.
Under applicable wage and labor laws, earned wages must be paid promptly. Failure to do so may subject the employer to legal liability, including recovery of unpaid wages, court costs, and any additional remedies permitted by law.
Accordingly, I demand full payment of the outstanding amount of $9,600.00 within ten (10) business days from receipt of this letter. If payment is not received within this timeframe, I will proceed without further notice to:
File a formal wage claim with the Georgia Department of Labor
Initiate a claim in the Magistrate (Small Claims) Court in the State of Georgia
Seek recovery of all unpaid wages and any additional damages allowed by law
This letter serves as a final opportunity to resolve this matter amicably before legal action is taken.
Please get in touch with me immediately to confirm payment arrangements.
Sincerely,
Michael Santiago
