My complaint is about GEMCRAFT HOMES. This is awful company dealing with home maintenance. In fact they do nothing and anything they do is terrible. Stay away at all costs! I already contacted BBB and hope they will return my money.
Agree 100% as I'm sure many of my neighbors do. We are in a new development with shoddy workmanship, people at Gemcraft talk out of 2 sides of their mouths and you don't get the same response from the various players involved in the building of these homes. I wish I had known about your comments years ago instead of 2022. I would never suggest Gemcraft Homes to anyone! Buyer beware -- you will end up spending your own money to repair and redo the terrible workmanship not only in the building, but dry wall hanging, dry wall finishing, the bannister in my house was not even sanded but polyurethaned so when you grabbed it, it felt like sandpaper. I had to resand it down to the wood so I can refinish it. Also had my electrical system incorrectly wired (which is what the electrician told me). As I was watching television one night and heard a pop and then smelled burning. I went to the basement and the electrical box looked as though it was torched - it was black from burn marks. I could go on and on as could all of my neighbors. We just want what is due us. We feel as though Gemcraft doesn't place much weight on building a structure for which they should be proud. I agree with the previous complaint against Gemcraft Homes. Legitimate maintenance concerns are not taken seriously. The craftsmanship is deplorable. I have lived in my home for eight years and have had issues with water and mold and my home is only eight years old. I would not recommend Gemcraft Homes to anyone.
