Esso - assault by store manager

The store manager of the Esso express location at the following address (5500 Boul Decarie, Montréal, QC H3X 2J2) hit me in the head several times. The altercation began by him refusing to let me fuel my pickup truck without prepayment. I protested saying that he let the driver in the car adjacent to me fuel up why was I being discriminated against? Through the intercom it was unclear so I went into the store. He said it was because I was wearing a hat and sunglasses and he couldn't see my face. So I removed my sunglasses and hat and asked him if I could fuel my pickup. He again said no saying he wouldn't let someone driving a 200$ piece of trash fuel up without prepaying. To which I got quite upset and I think I called him an ### but I don't remember. As I was storming out I knocked over some gum on one of the shelves deliberately. (I realize this was a mistake on my part and I was a [censored]) The attendant who was later identified to me as the manager ran after me screaming at me and started throwing punches at me 4-5 times screaming at me to leave immediately. As he was hitting me he knocked off my tuque on the ground. I backed off and did not retaliate as I wanted to diffuse the situation and not make things worse. Another attendant who was on the other side of the parking lot came over and stood to the side making sure neither of us continued and I said I just want to get my hat and I'll leave. The manager screamed "you leave immediately!" and I said I'll take my hat and go. So he picked up my tuque and spat into it threw it on the ground again and stomped on it before returning into the store. So I went and picked up my hat and returned to my vehicle. As I came back the man from the adjacent car who had been inside when I went in gave me his name and phone number saying that I should report this to the police. I called the police who came and spoke to the manager confirming that I had not lied in my story to them. They asked me what I wanted to do and I said I don't want to make a big deal about this but I don't want him to think that he was right in assaulting me or in treating me that way. I also requested that the police officer escort me back into the store so that I could apologize for knocking over the gum. Which I did. He then made excuses saying that i couldn't blame him for acting that way because I was suspicious for wearing sunglasses and a hat (it was a bright sunny & windy -13 deg C even the lady officer commented on it being cold as her partner was inside talking to him). He did not apologize to me. Then he said I could fuel my truck if I wanted. To which I said no thank you I'll be leaving now.
I realize I made a mistake by knocking over some gum in the store. I realized this right away actually and if the manager had talked to me instead of attacking me I would have paid for the entire shelf even though I only knocked over two or three things. However his actions are inexcusable. While I do not wish to press charges I would appreciate you looking into this matter further. I'm glad it was me he lost it with as I'm quite tough having worked in physical labor for many years (thus the banged up pickup truck) and therefor was not greatly affected by his assault. However someone else may have been seriously injured by such action.
The video of this incident would be in my opinion be self explanatory.
