I like to eat in the dining room. I am not going to sit in a drive thru for 30 minutes to get food. Trying to figure out when your dining room is open is almost impossible. Wendy’s I was treated disrespectfully by the cashier and called the supervisor who said I was "a problem" and call "ignorant"

On Weds, 1/25/23 at about 11A-12;30P I went into the Countryside, I Wendys and ordered, value fries and a senior drink. The male cashier then proceeded to cut me off and ask was it to go or here. I gave him my order again and said it is for here. He then went on to correct me by saying they were called some other name now. When my order was ready he put the fries in a bag, touching them with him hands and wrists. He gave me a cup that is used for the frosty for my drink. I told him my order was for here. He started to correct me again by telling me to just wait a minute. I asked for the manager to come because he started to lecturing me. The manager came up and instead of apologizing and turning the situation around, he immediately said, you are always a problem. I asked him when have I been a problem? I then said just give me a refund and I can leave. I put the receipt and change and bag of fries back on the counter. The manager is still talking and accusing me of whatever came to his mind. The cashier was picking up the receipt, change, and bag of fries and agreeing with the manager, he tried to give me change, I said you owe me $2, he handed it to me. I proceeded to leave he said, you are just ignorant, how am I supposed to know that you get $2 back. I chose not to respond to being called a name by a person, who is supposed to be in charge of diffusing a volatile situation, who is supposed to set an example not only for the company but to the employees as well as the other customers that were in line. I waged a complaint @Corporate and have not heard back from the District Mgr. I have been patient by waiting a week. I plan to speak with Better Business Bureau to see what other recourse I have. Never in my life have I ever been spoken to that way and I have lived 74 years on this earth.

I want an apology from this supervisor and he needs some training on ethics and customer service. I have been attending Wendys since back in the day when you had the Potato/Salad bar. He and his treatment of me have made me decide to not ever attend a Wendy again and that is the only fast food restaurant that I frequent because I like your adoption program and the courtesy drinks you give to the seniors. Thank you for at least reading my complaint.

Desired outcome: I would appreciate a response, I want an apology from this person and I want for him/her to receive training for better customer service.

Wendy’s Big bacon classic rip off

I have been a Wendy's customer for over 40 years and have been satisfied every I visited except one. I just completed a long drive from Virginia to Mishawaka, IN. in July, 2022. I was starving and wanted a "Big Bacon Classic". The Wendy's at 6526 Grape Rd, Mishawaka, IN 46545 presented me with a sad joke of a burger. I've attached a document to display how bad traumatic this event was vs. your advertised photo. Thank you in Advance, Kirk Passopulo

Wendy’s Incomplete order

I was at the Wendy's in Shirley, NY on 1/29/23. I usually don't have a problem/complaint worth submitting. I ordered a combo and a baked potato, no sour cream was in bag, 1 napkin, no utensils for baked potato, no receipt (I had to ask window person how much was going on my debit card because I had coupons — they don't calculate until the window). Very disappointed!

Desired outcome: Would like at least a free meal or two. I frequent Wendy's for their food. Their service is left to be desired.

Wendy’s False advertising of grilled chicken sandwich.

According to the website:

"Herb-marinated grilled chicken breast topped with smoky honey mustard, crisp lettuce, and tomato, served on a warm toasted bun. See if it isn’t the best chicken sandwich you’ve ever had."

"Grilled Chicken Breast: Chicken Breast, Water, Seasoning (Salt, Natural Flavors, Corn Maltodextrin, Dextrose, Spices, Dehydrated Garlic Powder, Dehydrated Onion Powder, Paprika, Gum Arabic, Yeast Extract, Canola Oil, Sodium Citrate, Sugar), Potato Starch or Modified Food Starch, Carrageenan, Xanthan Gum, Soy Lecithin, Contains 2% or Less of Sodium Phosphates. CONTAINS: SOY. GRILLED, CLASSIC, AND SPICY CHICKEN BREASTS ARE CUT ON A COMMON CUTTING BOARD, WHICH RESULTS IN CROSS-CONTACT WITH WHEAT, AND SOY ALLERGENS."

Instead, it should read

I made the mistake of ordering two Grilled Chicken Sandwiches, plain (bread and chicken only) and one Grilled Chicken Sandwich, with lettuce, tomato, and mayo. All three were so spicy I had to throw them away. Not everyone can eat spicy food and Wendy's needs to remember this. This is the last $30 I will ever spend, or the last dollar for that matter, at a Wendy's. Only the six piece nugget and fries were salvageable, and they weren't for the adults. Even the Frosty was wasted because someone put it in a container that we couldn't open. In trying to pry the lid off, most of it landed in the floor.

They will probably try and blame this on Covid-19 too. Since 2019, this chain has been going downhill. If people have to watch what they eat, and a chain doesn't respect customers enough to correctly advertise what is in their food, it puts people at risk. They must assume that everyone can eat spicy food without a problem. Not everyone can.

Desired outcome: Correctly advertise as SPICY and have a senior menu or mild menu for those on special diets.

Wendy’s Customer service

Friday, January 27, 2023, at 6:15 P.M. I went to the Wendy's in Dillsburg, PA on RT 15. I told the cashier I had a coupon and what part of my order was and she told me the register wouldn't let her add the coupon with a combo order. The cashier was arguing with me about the coupon and finally went and got the manager on duty who also argued with me about the coupon and told me I was harassing her cashier. I asked the manager if arguing with me about the coupon was worth losing an order for a family and her response was that she didn't care about the order or the price. She kept insisting I was being rude, so I asked her if she didn't want to keep the customer happy to keep repeat business and she also didn't care about that either. The manager on duty doesn't seem to know or care about customer service and how to talk to or treat paying customers. I told her I would file a complaint about the service, and that didn't seem to bother her either and told me I could do what I wanted. This kind of unprofessional attitude is unacceptable coming from a person who works in customer service. It doesn't matter if it is a fast-food restaurant or not management should always be respectful.

Desired outcome: Customer services classes/training for the management so they know how to treat and talk to customers in a more professional manner.

Wendy’s Service st drive thru

Went to Wendy's at 12:30 on a Wednesday afternoon when we arrived we were the ninth car at the drive-thru when we left 22 minutes later we were still the 7th car at the drive-thru we watch people walk in the store and walk right back out don't know what the problem is but their service is terrible this is not the first time but it is the longest we've waited and we never did get our hamburger too bad because we love Wendy's but we won't go back to the one in Sun City Center anymore

Desired outcome: Please hire or train your employees to be more efficient and it would not hurt to have them more friendly when you'd finally do get to the drive-thru

Wendy’s Reward points not honored after it was taken out

Ordered some food and use my reward point for fries the points were deducted but the fries never came. The manager Flor seem to not care, it's okay I'm not going to die over fries, but I will not ever order from any Wendys. The customer complaint number does not work. [protected]. Wendy’s incorrect order

on 01/20/2023 i purchased a plain classic chicken sandwich and was given a single bourbon bacon cheeseburger. I work 1 mile from this store [protected]. every week at least once they give me the wrong order. I don't have time to go back I get thirty minutes for dinner at work. I quit complaining because they wanted the receipt which they don't give you in less you ask for it so i started doing that to show them and get my sandwich replaced. I am tired of wasting my time and money going back so I just quit asking for a replacement and just deal with it but this needs to stop. I can't afford it anymore plus I am tired of going without dinner I work nights. I enjoy your food just tired of getting the wrong order at least once a week.

Wendy’s Place is a mess. dirty

The Wendy's in Morris,ill use to be out favorite fast food place. Now the Wendy's is a falling apart. Dirty bathroom and dinning area, Food is not the same quality as before. Tell me...HOw do you mess up a baked potato.

Wendy’s My visit

Went to Wendy's on Memorial Dr in Lancaster Ohio and that place was a mess. The floors were greasy and at my age I can't afford to fall. The gal at the register was slow. She had trouble finding the items as people ordered them. The employees were walking all over each other and a gal there waiting for 2 orders for grub hub waited quite awhile to get her food. She was still waiting when I left with my food. A coke machine was empty too. There needs to be more discipline with the employees. They need to help one another even if it's not their job. It was chaos. This location needs a lot of corporate help. A lot of customers were sliding on the floor too. Please send someone down to check out this location. It needs a lot of help and changes. Thank you.

Desired outcome: Clean this location up and get someone in there to run it better.
