I gotta say, I was a bit disappointed with the size of the loaves from Simple Kneads. I mean, I heard they were small, but these were like, teeny tiny (check out the pics, y'all). And for the price they're asking? I'm not sure if I'll be shelling out for this again.

But, I will say that the quality of the bread is pretty good. I've only tried the sourdough so far, and it's definitely moist and has a great consistency. It's way better than other gluten-free options I've tried. The taste is a bit bitter, though, and it doesn't really remind me of sourdough. But, it's still the best gluten-free bread I've had.

One thing that really sold me on Simple Kneads was that it's soy-free. It's hard to find gluten-free bread that doesn't have soy in it, so if I can't find another soy-free option, I might give this another shot. Maybe if I'm really jonesing for some bread.

I was on a road trip from Florida to New York and decided to look for some healthy food options. That's when I stumbled upon Luna's Living Kitchen in Charlotte, NC. Let me tell you, this place is AMAZING! They serve the most delicious sourdough bread that I have ever tasted. One bite and I was hooked! I couldn't wait to get my hands on some of their breads to take home with me.

I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with Simple Kneads' gluten-free bread. I mean, I tried three different kinds and they were all pretty dense and crumbly. And don't even get me started on how they disintegrate if you try to toast 'em. Plus, the flavor was just kinda meh. Like, I get that it's gluten-free and all, but come on, guys, we still want it to taste good!

Now, I will say that their customer service and website were both pretty easy to deal with. But honestly, that's not enough to make me want to order their bread again. And I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone else.

If you're looking for some good gluten-free bread, I'd suggest checking out Schaar. Their bread is top-notch, and their GF chocolate cookies are seriously to die for. But if you really want to be blown away, you gotta try Trader Joe's GF bagels, raisin bread, and whole grain bread. Toast those babies up with some butter and you'll never look back.

Oh, and don't even get me started on Udi's. Their bread is like frozen bricks, man. Like, I get that they're trying to make it last longer or whatever, but come on. We're trying to eat it, not build houses with it.

I am extremely disappointed with Simple Kneads. I have been waiting for my order for over 3 weeks now and have not received any updates or responses to my emails and messages. I have been trying to get in touch with them for weeks, but no one has bothered to reply. I have even called them multiple times a week, hoping to speak to a live person, but to no avail.

To make matters worse, they charged my credit card right away, even though I did not receive my order until almost a month later. I tried to cancel my order, but they did not respond to my request. This is unacceptable customer service.

I will never shop from Simple Kneads again and will make sure to let others know about my experience. If they want to grow their company and be reputable, they need to prioritize their customers and respond to their messages. Taking their money and not delivering on their promises is not how a business should operate.

My advice to Simple Kneads is to improve their customer service and communication. It is basic customer service to respond to customers and keep them updated on their orders. I hope they take this feedback seriously and make the necessary changes to improve their business.

I gotta say, this bread is the bomb! It's so dang tasty and I love that it's made with all kinds of healthy ingredients. Plus, it's vegan AND gluten free, which is like finding a needle in a haystack these days. I mean, I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease back in '07 and then I went vegan in 2016, so finding bread that I can actually eat has been a real struggle. But now that I've discovered Simple Kneads, I can finally enjoy sandwiches again without feeling like I'm sacrificing nutrition.

Now, I do have one little suggestion for the folks over at Simple Kneads. It would be super cool if they offered an option to buy the bread unsliced. Don't get me wrong, I love the size of the slices they have now - they're perfect for sandwiches. But sometimes I just wanna cut off a big ol' hunk of bread and dip it in my soup or stew, ya know? Just a thought.

I got this disease called Celiac and I love bread. I been looking for wheat and rice free bread but not grain free. I found Simple Kneads and they got a lot of different breads that I can eat. When I toast it, it's really good for sandwiches and it tastes like real rye bread. I like to eat it with nut butter and honey, cheese, eggs, fish, meat and bean spreads. I order 4 loaves and keep them in my freezer. My daughter who doesn't have Celiac comes over on weekends and she likes it better than the wheat bread my husband keeps in the freezer. I got a toaster that I only use for my bread so I don't get sick. It's a little expensive but I love bread so it's worth it to me.

I wish I could order one of each kind of bread every time I order. Even if I have to order 4 loaves, I want to try them all.

Simple Kneads is the bomb! We were so stoked when we stumbled upon this bread at Weaver St Market in Chapel Hill. We had been jonesing for some good bread ever since we went wheat-free, and this stuff really hit the spot. We're all about organic ingredients, and this bread totally delivers on that front. We've since moved to Tucson, which is a pretty cool foodie town, but we haven't been able to find any bread that even comes close to Simple Kneads in terms of flavor, texture, and quality of ingredients. We just have to make sure we have enough room in the freezer for all the loaves we order, because we can't get enough of this stuff! I've been ordering from Simple Kneads for the fourth time now and I must say, their breads are simply amazing! I first discovered them at the Company Shops Coop in Burlington while attending a workshop. As someone who prefers whole grain products, I was immediately drawn to their Artisan Breads which have a wonderful whole grain flavor and texture.

Although I can buy gluten-free breads at a lower cost locally, they simply don't compare to the flavor and texture of Simple Kneads. I appreciate that they use whole foods as ingredients without the conditioners that most gluten-free breads have. Plus, it freezes well so I always put three loaves in the freezer as soon as I receive my order. I love all three flavors so it's always a tough decision to choose which two to order.

Burlington is not on the direct route to visit my son and his family in Raleigh from Central Virginia, but it's definitely worth the detour to stock up on Simple Kneads breads whenever we make the trip. Even my wife, who has been baking whole grain bread at home for decades, loves the taste and consistency of Simple Kneads breads. She's always delighted when I offer to share with her.

Overall, I highly recommend Simple Kneads to anyone who loves whole grain breads with amazing flavor and texture. It's definitely worth the price and the detour to Burlington!

I gotta say, I really wanted to give Simple Kneads a full 5 stars. I mean, this bread is soft and tasty, and it's the best allergen-free bread I've come across yet (and let me tell you, as someone who's allergic to dairy, eggs, and gluten, finding bread that I can actually eat is a real struggle). But there are a few things that keep me from giving it a perfect score.

First off, the loaves are pretty small. Now, I know this is par for the course when it comes to gluten-free bread, but still, it's a bit of a bummer. And because of the shape of the loaf, there are parts of the bread that are basically useless for anything other than turning into bread crumbs. I'm talking about the end pieces here, which are only about 2.5 inches wide. You can't make a sandwich or toast out of that!

Another downside is the price. Simple Kneads is definitely more expensive than other gluten-free breads out there, like Little Northern Bakehouse. And on top of that, you have to wait for it to be shipped to you. So if you're in a hurry for some bread, this might not be the best option.

And while the bread does taste good, I have to say that the sourdough doesn't really taste like sourdough to me. It's still yummy, don't get me wrong, but it's not quite what I was expecting. And the slices are pretty thin, too - only about 1/4 inch.

All that being said, I still think Simple Kneads is a solid choice for anyone with allergies or dietary restrictions. It's just not quite perfect. If you're looking for a more affordable option, or if you need your bread ASAP, Little Northern Bakehouse might be a better bet. But if you're willing to splurge a little and wait for shipping, Simple Kneads is definitely worth a try.

I don't really care about the shopping experience, all I care about is the product. And let me tell you, Simple Kneads has got a pretty good product. Sure, they could switch up the oil (safflower? Nah, try coconut) and maybe sprout it, but it's still better than most other gluten-free breads out there.

They came in a cardboard box with careful bubble protection, and the loaves were double wrapped for air tight delivery. The loaves themselves were nice and round, precut to just under 1/2 inch thickness.

I bought a four pack for $35, which included 2 sourdough, 1 Pumpkinickel, and 1 Quinoa Power. I opened up a sourdough first and froze the rest, and it was absolutely delicious. I opened up my second loaf today (Pumpkinickel) which was frozen, and the slices easily separated. I put two slices in the toaster to defrost and they tasted just as fresh as the initial loaf.

All in all, I think this is a really nice product. At $8.75 per loaf delivered, it's hard to beat when you consider the quality of this micro bakery and the obvious health benefits. I give it five stars. Well done, Simple Kneads.
