Lowe's Fence Installation

On May 16th of this year, we had set up to have a fence installed, Jason Graham had came out and measured up everything in order to get everything done and a contract was signed and agreed to, all the financing was taken care. On signing we asked just how long it would take to get things going and installed he then told us that the installer would be able to take care of it in a short time when he returned from a vacation. We have made several calls and emails on what is going on with getting it done since we wanted it done in the spring. But there has been no movement, calls, emails NOTHING. We have moved on from wanting it done now this year now. This type of service is so unacceptable from a company that says it prides itself on service. We will take our business else were from now on and it may not matter to your bottom line the number of friends and people we know about this but it sure is so wrong.

Lowe's Refund for item returned

I ordered a washer and dryer on March 9, 2023 and it was delivered, but the dryer was defective. Lowe's set up to deliver a new dryer the next day, but wouldn't do that until the old defective dryer was returned. So they made me purchase a new dryer stating that once the defective dryer was picked up by Lowe's, they would issue a credit for the new dryer I had to purchase.

They picked up the old dryer and then delivered a new one the next day saying that my account would be credited.

I never received that credit and have spoken with three managers to have this simple issue resolved (Brian, Lisa and Sara - Store 0203). And here it is four months later and I am still trying to get this issue resolved.

Can you assist me with this problem

Desired outcome: Credit my account for merchandise returned

Lowe's Online order

I placed an order back in November 2022 (order # [protected]) for EverTrue 11/16-in x 2-1/4-in x 7-ft ...mouldings. The order was placed on 11-24-2022

Invoice # 91750. At the time of online order it was conveyed to me that said items were in stock and would have to be freight delivered which raised the cost seventy nine more dollars. These items were for a customer who was trying to match her existing trim. Upon completing this order, I received an email stating that Lowe's had received said order and shipping info would be forthcoming. Days passed and soon a week had passed and still no shipping info. I checked online, only to get the same message, order pending. I tried calling the Store in Kingston,Ma and was basically told the same thing order pending. After a month of taking verbal abuse from my customer, I was able to convince them to go with a different trim which required more work as well as more expense which I had to absorb, as part of the agreement was, that I had to replace the connecting hallway trim to match at my expense. I had basically moved on from this inexcusable situation until (fast forward to July 17, 2023) when I received a phone call From a Victoria at Weymouth Lowe"s inquiring about an order I placed back in Nov 2022. When I returned her call on 07/19, I was placed on hold for at least 15min at which point I was connected to a person who in my opinion was very rude and unhelpful. I was basically told that she did not work in that dept and that everyone else was busy but I could call the Kingston store and maybe somebody there could help. Needless to say, I was furious at this point and hung up on her. This to me as a paying customer is just unacceptable and has left a very bad taste in my mouth concerning doing business with Lowe's in the future. To get not even so much as a phone call on this order until almost eight months later tells me that Lowe's should really consider whether or not they should have an online presence as this is not the first time I have had a problem ordering online at Lowe's, whereas I have ordered many many times from Lowe's competitors and not had an issue

Desired outcome: At this point, I would prefer to leave it up to Lowe's as to how they wish to handle this situation

Lowe's Outdoor shed installation

Ordered for an outdoor shed and ramp along with installation. The installation company scheduled installation about 10 days later. I also ordered for a ride on mower so I had to time my ride on mower be delivered after installation. The shed installation team showed up as scheduled and said there was no ramp in the ordered. Turns out the sales missed the ramp and I was told someone should reach out to schedule for installing ramp. 3 days no response - I tried reaching out to customer service, have made about 20 calls talked to multiples managers, nobody seems to have an idea on order, only response I get is someone should reach out from installation company, I reached out to them and they say Lowes have not made payment for the job. It’s been 5 weeks. Absolutely no response on the case, no courtesy call for an update whatsoever. I have my ride on mower out in rain now had to keep my car all day out. The shed is on property of no use. An example of how rude and mindless one of the manager was - when I said the shed is useless without ramp for me I cannot get in the ride on mower. He goes well you can get in the shed so it’s not useless. The ramp is the problem am like wat the hell..?!? Worst experience with these virtual team. Wats surprising is no one seems to know what the problem is, clearly Lowes has broken process with zero customer care.been month so far not even a single update. Ridiculous.!

Lowe's Lowes pattern in store discrimination/ customer service.

I have had a number of unpleasant experiences when visiting Lowes locations in my area, I have reached out and expressed my concerns previously, though this time they have gone too far in their discriminatory behavior and acted in a way that is not only unprofessional but potentially illegal. On two recent, but separate occasions, Lowes employees acted in an egregious manner, going as far as snatching a shopping cart from my possession and assaulting and stressing out my service animal. This all stems from discrimination on the part of Lowes store employees

in the past, Lowes employees at these locations have gone as far as attempting to charge me a higher than listed price on items, despite prices being clearly marked on those items. I am ashamed to spend any of my money with these abhorrent practices and I refuse to idly sit back and allow them to continue a pattern of bullying and unacceptable treatment of minority customers.

Desired outcome: I wouldn't know how to go about quantifying the damages Lowes has caused both myself and my service animal.

Lowe's Refrigerator delivery

I ordered a refrigerator to be delivered on July 5th. It came late and was damaged. They left it because they had already torn my old fridge up. I called to get it replaced and I was told they would deliver it during the week. I told them I work and could not take time off to wait for them since they are notoriously late. They scheduled me for July 15th. Never showed, never called. I gave up a day with my family to wait for them AND my work called and asked me if I wanted to come in and make some OT, but I said I couldn’t because I was waiting for my fridge so I am going to demand I get compensated for missing a day of work and OT to boot. It is now 10:30 on the 16th and STILL no call. I called and was told that it shows I have been rescheduled so they put me through to dispatch which has a recording saying the wait time is 30 minutes to one hour. I am beyond angry and frustrated. I was going to buy a new stove and dishwasher but it sure as hell won’t be from Lowes! I want to be paid for MY time I have spent waiting on these incompetent idiots. And whoever over schedules these deliveries needs to be fired!

Lowe's Kitchen cabinets and a ge dishwasher

We bought all new kitchen cabinets back in may from lowes in lewistown pa. Along with all new kitchen appliances. The cabinets are still not completed because the installer screwed them up and trying to deal with the lowe's people in lewistown is a freaking joke as is the cabinet installers are totally incompetent the dishwasher made a banging noise from the getgo it was a ge. Lowes brought in eshes repairman but them [censored]s brought the wrong part so pissed off we took the dishwasher back to lowes to get another one but they didnt have any in stock so we got our money back. We also bought a washer and dryer from lowes but had to wait three weeks for the pedestals to get here. What a joke I think you clowns better start running your stores better. I don't know how the hell you stay in business. Totally incompetent I am done with lowes I hope you [censored]s go out of business. Still waiting its been over 3 months to fix and finish our kitchen cabinets. If you clowns dont get them done in the next three days. We are filing a lawsuit against you clowns. Enough is enough. Lowe's Kitchenaid dishwasher

I ordered a Kitchen Aid dishwasher with a third rack. I had to order it through Lowes.com because the store did not carry it in black. I paid $949.00 it was on sale. I also paid for the instillation with was $353.00. The dishwasher came 3 weeks later. They came to Install it 2 weeks after that after calling Lowes to ask when they would come to install. The gentleman came to install the dishwasher and opened the box and the whole side of the dishwasher was busted out of the side. So he told me to contact Lowes and let them know and he would also let Lowes know it was damaged. Upon contacting Lowes they told me they would get me another one. Lowes kept telling me it was on back order. After about 1 months I called Lowes and asked about my dishwasher, they told me it was still on backorder from the store. I called the next month and they told me still on back order from the store. I get on Lowes.com the dishwasher is available. So I call the store back and tell them the dishwasher is available so they need to get me the dishwasher. During all the calls to Lowes I have to set on hold at least an hour or more each time. Or never talk to anyone at all, or get hung up on and have to call back. So the next dishwasher comes 4 months later. They send me a dishwasher without the third rack. So here I am fighting with Lowes trying to get third dishwasher I ordered. Now Lowes tells me I ordered a 2 rack dishwasher. They don't want to make it right. Now they tell me since I used it and it is past the 45 days purchase date I have to call manufacture to make a return or exchange it. I don't know how they figure I used a busted out dishwasher or used a dishwasher that was just installed one day ago that was the wrong one and their mistake. Also, they are the one's who make the mistake anyway and dropped the first one off the truck and busted it and left it setting in my living room for 3 months. Then gave me a cheaper one the second time trying to get away with it.

Desired outcome: Please get me the third rack Kitchen aid dishwasher I originally paid for and get it installed. Without wasting my time having to set on the phone all day trying to get the issues resolved. Please don't wait another 4 months. Thank you

Lowe's Fencing Installation

I order a emblem white vinyl fence on 6/02/2021 and i had to wait until they came to install it. Over 14 weeks to get it installed. I went to the store to have the fencing repaired. They gave me a date to come out to give me an estimate of how much it will cost to have it repaired. Lowe's gave me a date of jul 14, 2023. From 1 pm. -6pm.Was consultation day. No one showed up i call ted mistal and said that they could not order it. He said i have to call the installer at [protected] i call and they say that they work only for lowe's so the only way they would come is if lowe's ordered them to come. I ask for the corporate number and they gave me [protected] and no one answered. I am very mad because they were fast to take my money when i made the big order but now they don't want to help me to get it fix i am going to pay to have it fixed. I will never buy anything from your company again and i an telling all my friends and family not to buy from you. I hope you can do something for me that was a lot of money that i spend on the fencing and i don't want to leave without fixing it.

When I go to a store I want to hear ads only in English not any other language, it's insulting as an American to hear other wise. If I go to another country I learn the language before I go. I expect the same for people when they come here. My wife used to go to Mexico and taught Spanish speaking kids how to speak English, maybe Lowe's should invest in language classes.

Lowe's Delivery and hook up of washer/dryer

1- we recently purchased a washer/dryer set. The salesman was nice.

2- the washer dryer was delivered today. The delivery personnel reeked of marijuana and were clearly high. They were stumbling about and laughing crazily.

3- the delivery personnel refused to hook the devices up because we did not order new pigtails, etc. They also stated that if we used the old stuff it would void the warranty. They further stated that the salesman specifically do not tell people that new items are needed, so people void their warranty.

4- after the delivery people left I noted dents on the right side of the washer. One of the dents is slightly visible from the front.

5- I made an extra trip to Lowes and bought all new connectors for our washer/dryer, to maintain our warranty.

Desired outcome: Normally, I would expect Lowes to deliver an undamaged washer. In this case I do not want people high on drugs coming back into my home. The delivery came out of Grove City, Ohio. Maybe you should start drug testing.

We're sorry to hear of your concerns.

Associates are taught to explain and offer these additional hook ups to each applicable customer. Using old connections only invalidates a manufacturer's warranty if a future issue has to do with such connections. Customers are completely welcome to use their old connections but it is not recommended. They will likely dilapidate and create problems.

Lowe's Delivery/customer service

I purchased a dishwasher online on 6/17/23. Delivery was scheduled for 6/30, at an unknown time frame. On 6/29, I received an email stating that my delivery was rescheduled for 6/5. The delivery day came, the delivery people showed up, and delivered the dishwasher. Upon opening it up I found a dent in the door edge. I immediately called customer service to report the damage. The customer service line said there was a wait of "over 1 hour", I waited. I waited for 1h and 50 minutes for someone to answer. When someone answered, and I told them my problem, they asked me what I wanted to do about the issue. I was not happy with the options she offered, and the damage was on a finished facing side of the product, so I asked for a replacement. I was told someone from the warehouse would call me within 24 hours to set a pickup and delivery for the damaged item and the replacement. 24 hours go by... nothing, 48 hours go by... nothing. I call again after the 48 hours, I wait on the phone for over 1 hour for an answer. the person who answers says that "for some reason" it never got "handed off" to the warehouse. Then she says that maybe they were just very busy and had not gotten to me yet. After that she says that she put it through and someone "from the warehouse" will call me within 24 hours. 24 hours go by... and nothing, 36 hours... nothing. I call again and wait 45 mins. and when someone answers, I immediately ask to talk to a manager, I give my info... etc... wait... 15 minutes, and the "manager" gets on the phone. She says she is going to call the store and get it sorted out and puts me on hold. After a bit she says that she spoke to the store manager and that I am on the schedule for Wednesday. I asked if that meant tomorrow, she said yes. She also said that the manager would be calling me later in the day to confirm a delivery window. I get no call, no delivery. I call again later the following day and wait for 30 minutes to talk to someone. This person says that they are going to call the store manager, and she does. She comes back and says that the dishwasher is a special order and all they can do is refund my money and order another dishwasher. However, they can't give me the money back until they get the dishwasher back. The store manager calls, and I miss it, but I call back. He basically tells me the same thing as the CS rep. and says that they can come pick it up the next day. At this point I am fed up and I tell him that I am not taking another day off so he can come pick it up, so I am going to put it outside on the patio and if it's there when they come to get it... fine, if not oh well. He hangs up on me.

Now, first, it took 7 days for them to know that they could not replace it quickly. My family has been without a dishwasher for over 4 weeks now and over 3 of those weeks have been waiting on Lowe's,

Not once in that time did they offer any type of compensation for the time and frustration of dealing with this. Which include taking 3 personal days from work, spending over 5 hours on the phone. Being, lied to 4 times by uninformed CS reps and managers. No offer of a discount, or upgrade, nothing at all, just "we're sorry". This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced, and that is really saying something.

Desired outcome: I should have been offered an upgrade to another dishwasher of equal or greater value that was available for immediate delivery. Or Anything but what they did.

Hello.

No question, what you describe is frustrating. It sounds as if there was quite the issue with communication.

All retailers offer and promote limited stock items. Unfortunately, you've chosen to purchase one of these and once the damage is addressed, the unit was sold out.

Working with you, even after that length of time, Lowe's is fine with offering a refund. Of course, that can't be accomplished until the product is returned. We'd highly recommend not just leaving it on the porch. Without a return receipt, there is no way to process a refund for you.

It would be better for you to contact Lowe's online service and request that someone be scheduled to pick up the unit. They should work with you to determine days that may work with your schedule. Make sure to get and retain a receipt when the unit is picked up.

Lowe's Cabinet installation

Do NOT use Lowe’s Installation services. I ordered custom cabinets and counters for both my kitchen and bathrooms. The original measure was off resulting in ill-fitting cabinets, some of which I had to reorder (after waiting more than six months for the first order). In the meantime, the original installer completely disappeared and no other Lowe’s installers would take the partially finished job, leaving me to find my own contractor (they are in short supply where I live so this has yet to be resolved). I have been in dispute for nearly a year and living with bathroom vanity drawers that don’t open all the way and a microwave that doesn’t open all the way either because the surrounding cabinets are too big. The installer also dented my refrigerator and scratched up my new floors despite my repeated requests that they put down protectors. The store said they would replace the refrigerator, so I picked out one comparable to the one they damaged, but then – more than six months later! – Lowe’s installation support denied the request. Customer service is horrible and non-responsive – not once calling back when they said they would. After nearly a year of calling and threatening legal action, they finally refunded the original install fee, but that does not make up for the dented refrigerator or ill-fitting vanity. This entire process has caused me stress, frustration, and valuable lost time. But Lowe’s doesn’t care. A project that should have taken two weeks at most has lingered for nearly a year. I will NEVER use Lowe’s again and will tell anyone who asks to boycott them as well.

Lowe's Failed bathroom vanity install

Our nightmare installation fail started on 4-06-23 and has yet to be resolved, chronology below.

4-06-23 – Site visit/plan

4-29-23 – In store purchase (clerk couldn’t find plan online)

5-18-23 – 2 installers from Premier arrived; were unable to complete plumbing work as they had never done that type of work before and also didn’t have the plan

• Installers told us they were given one week training in cabinet installation; didn’t know what to do; tried to call supervisor without luck

• 5/19 – told us their supervisor wouldn’t take their calls or call back yet; we also tried without luck

• 5/23 – installers came back with the solution of flexible P-Trap because it required no actual plumbing work under the sink – we rejected after research and learning from Lowes Tustin install supervisor flex P-Traps are not to Orange County code

• From that point forward, we have been disappointed from a steady stream of promises for a visit from Handy, Angi, etc. to correct plumbing with not a single promise kept; my wife has logged the date for each contact which you will also find online; what really made us laugh was the sales call we got from a Lowes employee who ran across our original online request and asked if were ready to buy a vanity 😉

Those are the facts from a legal perspective which I can verify in discovery in your online project system and through the people involved for whom we have kept contact information including the original installers.

Desired outcome: We want an immediate refund of the installation labor and intend to have our own plumbers rip out the Lowes work and replace with a professional job.
