On January 20,2024 I visited the Jack in a box on Jones Rd in Houston tx. My husband and I came in thru the drive thru. I first asked if the bagel breakfast sandwich was still available they gentlemen in the driver informed me no. Ok so I asked what was in the southwest salad. The menu if it's shown in the photo on the menu board I can not see the from sitting in the car. So I asked the employee his name is Rafael I believe he said it was cause I did call back there and spoke with the same gentleman that took are order. But he informed that the only thing in the southwest salad is lettuce, cheese and tortilla chips. I stated ok I will take that. I asked for not one but two ranches. When checking inside the bag before pulling off I had one ranch, a bag of croutons they both have the same color package and one of the salad dressing that come with the salad. When my husband went inside to exchange for the salad dressing that comes with the salad with a ranch. The employee hands him croutons so my husband asked the lady inside for a ranch and he handed her the croutons. The whole time the guy argued with my husband stating he gave me two ranches already and he didnt. When getting to my job I went to go eat and there was beans and corn in it. This was not stated to me when I asked what was in it. I spent 30 min picking all beans and corn out of my salad. When I call the store the guy that took my order answered I asked to speak to a manager he informed there is no manager there right now he left and will return. I asked well this is something that need to be handled. I asked if this was the same employee that took my order he said yes. I said ok so I asked u what came in the salad and informed what he told me. He said ok and then I said u gave me one ranch and when my husband came in you argued with him. He first stated he didn't then stated well that's cause I gave it already to him and he asked for more. I stated u gave him croutons not ranch and he gave what u gave to him to the lady and she gave him ranch. He continued to argued with me. Informed I can come tomorrow for a full refund. If he's not a manager he can't authorize that. This happened on a Friday, I called for three hours straight Saturday and Sunday and no answer all day long... And then Monday the general manager finally answers. I informed him what happened, he informed me that for a refund I would need to bring the food back, this happened on Friday you expected me to still have the food. And he wasn't even mad that there was no manager on duty. I have been trying to reach corporate sense cause I want my money back... Jack in a box is trash now it used to be good but the employees they have r rude as [censored]
