Webroot - Billing, accessing invoice and other account information

One cannot view billing history or invoices. Due to so much confusion with multiple keycodes and double billing, I need to be able to see when and for which key codes I am getting billed for. I'm very frustrated with this company and their website. Therefore, I wish to be able to just cancel all my accounts with them, but there is no easy way to do this. I guess I will have to try calling again next week during business hours. ??...

Bought Webroot Antivirus and Internet security Software a year ago. First they have auto renewal program that you have to opt out of which is explained to you in small print at the very bottom of your welcoming e-mail. Secondly that same paragraph says you'll receive e-mail notification before the renewal is charged. Needless to say that is not the case. They instantly take your money but some how it takes them 3 to 5 or even up to 7 business days to get a refund processed....

So recently my computer has viruses so I downloaded the webroot free 30 day trial and scanned for days. it never removed any viruses so I contracted support. they set up a remote acess thing and the tech said my computer was good now. but now I cant use anything on my control panel to change my computers settings. Also I find that all my favorites are missing along with some persona; data I can not trace back or find again.

I ask them to fix it and they tell me that its an additional service for paid subscription users...this is THIER fault, I was NOT warned this was going to happened....

Here's a message I sent them and I'm letting everyone spread the word. I have not seen anything THIS blatant from a big time company in a long time! See the image, it's unreal.

You are running a scam that does NOT allow prior customers to move away from webroot.

After using the run command to uninstall the active wrsa.exe file I found this abhorred thing when scanning and manually analyzing processes for your other crap...and I found THIS!...

I installed Webroot on two computers and they both lost internet. I took my notebook to my company's tech support team and they uninstalled the Webroot and sure enough I have internet now...Don't even THINK about Webroot as internet security!...

i was recently paying my credit card online and noticed a charge from webroot that was made on a date when my card wasn't in use. i recently purchased a new computer and searched the drive for any webroot programs, but none had showed up. i have never heard of webroot - and am curious as to how they received my credit card information. - best solution; call your debit or credit card company and report fraud....

They brag of US support but have you ever tried to call them? The same recording telling that due to the popularity of their new product your wait time is expected to be longer then one hour!!!
If you would like to pay for support the wait time is non existent but I am not paying them for what they brag about is free
The email support as well as the contacts on social media are a farce
Nice to know that they can pay someone to monitor these boards and do some spin control but that they don't care enough to have their support line adequately staffed

I was a happy webroot anti virus software client for 3 years. Their software had an issue in upgrading virus signatures. It would crash. I asked their support team online for help. It took them 6 days to get back to me. When I complained about the slow response their tech team member terry B. threatened not to work on my problem. I have never seen such low level customer service. Imagine a customer service representative threatening if you ask for customer service. Please never buy webroot if the management has this mentality....

a couple years ago my computer was repaired by a serive tech for viruses and he used webroot and charged it on my account and all suddent now I am being charged $43.65 which is claiming for renewel fee which for a computer I dont even own anymore...but what can you do this is America...

Webroot autorevewed by anti virus software. I have cancelled the autorenewal and attempted to obtain a refund on their website. I got a prompt that my request was beyond 30 days cancellation period. My invoice was dated March 15, 2010, I attempted to obtain a refund on April 12, 2020. This is not 30 days, it was 28 days. You are unable to speak to a breathing person no matter what you do and I am very disallusioned with everything about this company. I would never consider doing business with them again.

I did not authorize renewal, am not signed up for renewal and received charge of $39.95. Now I have the burden of time and hassle for opting out of something I never signed up for and requesting refund. I will not use this again, will pay more for a company that I can trust....

I ordered their 24/7 antivirus removal. When I called for service they told me that I had to make an appointment a week later. When I questioned their 24/7 service and the reason for the delay the service rep became rude and condescending and hung up on me. When I tried to call back she hung up on me. I was finally able to get a refund but the experience was awful. I would not recommend buying anything from this company....

My Webroot subscription ends a week from today.

I received an email from them saying "I will automatically renew my subscription unless I fill out a form to the contrary".
I filled out their "do not renew" form. Sent it to them.
Got an email back.. saying they would not renew.

A day later.. received another email from Webroot, thanking me for my "renewal" and they had already deducted $39.95 from my credit card.. which they keep on file.. for cheating....

I received an email on 11/4 stating that my credit card wopuld be charged for $39.95 for auto renewal of Webroot's virus protection for my computer. I tried to contact them by phone and email with no response. There was never even a way to talk to anybody, only automated menus. I have submitted a dispute through my credit card company and alerted them to what I have read regarding others this has happened to. Please do the same if this happens to you; so we can put a stop to fraudulant practices like this....

I've purchased a renewal of webroot on line version 6.1.128 and have had nothing but problems with it - must reinstall it daily - web sit for webroot has not been helpful - apparently they are aware that the product is defective in that they offer an online quick fix (but only in thewindows safe operating mode) even this has not been helpful - tried to contact them by phone (free site 1.5 hr waite) or paid site available (Which I did not use - why should I pay them for discussing their defective product) product is now corrupted and must re-install in order to uninstall. very unprofessional...

I puchsed a subscription to Webroot protection software last year and they place me on auto renew without notification. Ionly found out when they charged my credit card for the renewal. There were no option to speak to customer service. Only mean to ask for refund was by mail. I have notice that there have been numerous complaints lodges for lack of respond and action for refund. If yo already have Norton, webroot maycause problems periodcally (conflicts). Further, when Webroot is running, large portion of the RAM is use, causing the computer to run slower until the san is completed.

I renewed my subscription to Webroot Virus protection. They placed me on automatic renewal, of my subscription, without my permission. They offered a website to click on to get this removed. I tried and tried to get this removed. They kept demanding more information. Finally I never got a response when I clicked on one of their buttons. I called them and was never able to talk to talk to anybody.

I got a run around and a persons voice kept telling me how they were protecting me by making my renewal automatic. They also said I would be given a notice and plenty of time to reject their...
