After being told by the customer service lady that we'd get a replacement couch, the Bob's guy came to our house and took a picture on the peeling. He then called in the peeling problem and promptly handed me the phone and left. I was told that because we were no longer under our 1 year warranty (only by six months) they couldn't replace the couch. They offered a courtesy 20% discount credit. A courtesy? I am so upset I don't even know where to begin. My son's mattress is falling apart. The springs are coming out at the end of it and I literally mean they are sticking out ripped through the sheets and is even damaging the furniture where the mattress is on. My son tells me everyday that he feels like springs on his back and that's why he tosses and turns every single night. So I laid with my son on the mattress reading a book and I sure did feel the springs. I called customer service set up an appointment for a technician to come look a it seeing that the mattress has a 5 year warranty....

Goof Proof is a scam. Haven't beat it yet but working on it.

Try 1 - Called to get spots removed from sofa. Because there was more than one it is not covered!
Try 2 - Called to report a rip in fabric just under seated area (Seams are NOT covered). The rip in the fabric was too large (greater than 6") which they called excessive and do not cover, Also, the rip was from general wear and tear so that is also not covered.
Try 3 - Reported a small accedental tear in one of the armrest (2-3"). I have been doing research now so know that when they asked how it happened...

I have to admit that I am not impressed with their product. I know their name says discount, but they advertise as if they are competitive in quality to other furniture stores. I bought a full sized canopy bed for my daughter two years ago. Within the first few months the shabby metal spindles that held the canopy up warped and kept popping out and landing on my daughter. The tall posts that held up the awning no longer screw into the headboard and footboard of the bed and tip to one side or the other. I am truly disgusted with Bob's. BUYERS BEWARE!!!

I purchased a Bob O Pedic 2 years, I repeat 2 YEARS AGO (2011) and I recently was changing the cover and I discovered there was mold on the bottom of my mattress (you can google search and it has happened to other people). I am completely disgusted as I am a clean person and also who would ever think mold would grow on your bed. I was horrified at my discovery and decided to call Bob's hahaha that was a joke. Well of course Bob's will do nothing since they consider it an "environmental issue" not a manufacture issue....

This experience is any shoppers nightmare. I had just moved in a new apartment and wanted to buy new furniture so I decided to go to Bob's Discount Furniture. I walked in and as soon as I walk in someone ask me; "Can I help you?" . I told them "No" (I like to shop and not be bothered in the beginning to observe my settings) then I continued to look at what was available. I bought a recliner from Bob's Discount Furniture less than 3 years ago - for a friend, and it is CRAP. The fabric is worn out completely where you rest your head, and the metal circle on the bottom of the chair is broken into 5 pieces. I can't believe a company guarantees the metal part of a recliner for 1 year. I will never buy another piece of furniture from Bob's Discount Furniture again. AND I will give EVERYONE I know the same advice....

They sell you clearance items along with this great 5 year goof proof warranty. You call regarding a problem with the furniture and they tell you that the warranty they sold you is no good because the item was on clearance so you can have the money back for the warranty and keep your broken furniture. They are dishonest and don't care about customer service at all. If you buy from them you will be sorry....

Last month we bought the Apollo reclining sofa and loveseat set. We opted for the non-power verison. It has been less than a month and the backs of both pieces are wobbly and loose. One of the backs even pops out of it's "slot" every once in a while. This is with normal wear. None of us are jumping on these couches. I caught my Father on a giving day and we just happened to be close to a Bob's Furniture Store and my Father said, lets go in. Needless to say, we did and made a HUGE MISTAKE. Bob's needs to invent is higher quality delivery people. I had a fine experience inside the store. Got a call 2 days ahead of the delivery of my couch for a delivery window between 11:45 am and 2:45 pm. I was coming back from an appointment I had schedule in advance and pulled up to my apartment 15 minutes before the start of my delivery time frame.

We went to store and selected a sectional love seat consisting of 2 reclining sections, with a console in the middle. We were told by the salesman the price was $579., and we agreed to purchase and charged on credit card. When delivery came 6 days later, the console was not delivered. The actual furniture itself was very nice and reasonably priced. The in store sales were uncomfortably aggressive to the point that I almost just walked out.

The delivery was an absolute nightmare. First, I had to wait over two weeks for the date. Once delivery date came around, the delivery crew showed up half an hour before the delivery window, called and didn't receive an immediate response and abruptly left.

In May of 2011, we purchased a queen sleeper sofa and at the same time, purchased the Goof Proof plan. We were given an informational sheet that has an overview of the warranty, which briefly described what would be covered in case of damage.

About two weeks ago, we noticed that the mesh part of the sleeper frame was separating from the springs which hold it to metal part of the frame. This mesh fabric is the part of the frame that supports the sleeper's mattress. I called Bob's Furniture at that time and scheduled a time for a technician to come assess the damage.

i have constantly encountered problems with this company delivering damaged furniture. the first item i ordered was a bed from their E-Pit, and it took them 4 delivery attempts to deliver the bed in the appropriate new condition. On 2/27/2010, I purchased a Recliner Sofa and Loveseat from Bob's Discount Furniture on 835 Queen Street in Southington, CT. Within less then two years the stuffing in the fabric come out of the furniture and is all on my carpet flooring. The console popped out of the sofa. I went into the store and spoke to the salesman that sold me the recliner sofa and loveseat. I also spoke to the sales manager who was no help. They suggested that we contact Bob's Customer Service for assistance. I shouldn't have to purchase new furniture within 2 years. I paid $1905.86 for poor quality of furniture....

A better customer care service would be very appreciated by clients. I called Bob's customer care Goof proof for services, I got transferred to another representative sounds pretty young. She was very disrespectful and don't know her limits. I wondered why she comes to work if she does not like what she's doing, or what don't she goes to school for her dream work. Any Can Bob's supervisor staff do training for their Employees. I think with your kindness you will make people feel comfortable and make them come back. At least make the difference! I will never ever ever shop at Bob's again.

My husband and I bought a new bed, box spring, and mattress on March 24th. We were told at that time that the headboard and footboard were out of stock but were coming in within 2 weeks so we would get a call to set up delivery. That was fine..

We got a phone call mid- April saying all of our items were in but were not able to be delivered to where we live until May 5. I didnt understand if everything was in..why couldnt it be delivered. Well thats when they were coming to our area. I was aggravated by that- but accepted...
