Amazon is disappointing to say the least for such gigantic company. I have been an amazon customers for many years and have not encountered such unhelpful customer service department. My last amazon order was never delivered and my refund was never received.
My last order was never received, so I started checking into it through your online live chat customer service. The customer service rep told me the account I initiated the online chat have not been used for many years and I must switch to my active account when I made my last order. The rep proceed to ask me about the Order# and Tracking#, and confirmed to me that I must have 2 accounts with amazon. I proceeded to close the account the customer service rep indicated to me that has not been used for many years and when I come back to my other browser with the supposed active account, it is no longer available to me, along with all my previous purchasing history and my last shipment that was never delivered. I was misinformed by an amazon customer rep saying that I have two accounts when in fact I only had one account.
Now here is the problem
My latest shipment never arrived and no refund was issued for 30 days. But since my account was closed, no customer service has access to any of my records. This is unacceptable to me because my account was closed due to the misinformation of the amazon customer service rep.
My next step was trying to find someone who could help me and I googled and emailed various emails of amazon, but most emails responded with automatic messages that redirect me to the online customer service. All the available customer service cannot help me because they need my account that made the order, which in this case, is closed.
The purchase amount is $100 USD.
Desired outcome: I am sure the company can still access my old account information using my order number. My desired outcome would be a credit or refund.
