AFA Stores Outstanding service

I bought a bedroom set from AFA STORES, I'm so happy with the purchase, from browsing the website to ordering and delivery, everything was smooth and hassle free.

AFA Stores Everything you need to decor your home

AFA Stores The best prices

1 month ago redecorated my living room and was on the lookout for some new furniture pieces. I stumbled upon this online furniture store and decided to take a chance on it. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of options available and found myself browsing through the website for hours.

AFA Stores Great experience

I recently had the chance to purchase furniture from this online store and I have to say it was a great experience. AFA Stores I was predisposed by reviews....

At first I was predisposed by the reviews I had read online about them and their service. Despite this I decided to try them to see if their service was as bad as some reviews say. Obviously I ordered something small and cheap, which was a cocktail table.

A couple of days after ordering the cocktail table I got an email with my tracking number (so far so good) but most shipments only take a couple of days to arrive but I had heard nothing about mine so I started to panic because of the bad reviews.

I called into see what in the world was going on and one of their reps explained the situation to me, the table did not ship via Fedex or UPS or USP instead its shipped with trucking company and that the trucking company would call once it was ready to deliver.

So after about 10 days the trucking company called and got everything set up and they delivered the table. The delivery crew and customer service representatives were very nice. I will buy again and let yall know how it goes.

Recommendation: Give them a try, their service is good

AFA Stores Broken item delivered. Solution provided

This is not the first time I order online but it was the first time I ordered furniture online.

I bought a dresser from AFA back on April 20th. It did take about 3 weeks to arrive after I ordered it ( which made me very nervous at first) and when it did arrive I was sooo excited but after opening the box I saw that one of the drawers and one of the legs arrived damaged. I was devastated about this, so I called their customer service and a very nice lady told me to send the pictures to their claims department which I did.

After I sent the pictures I got an email saying to send the pictures again ( I read the email and saw that its an automated response) but the next day I did get an email from the claims team offering different options, amongest them, a replacement for free. After a small wait, I got my replacement and everything was perfect.

Recommendation: Buy without worry, they will provide you with a solution if something does go wrong

AFA Stores I loved what I ordered

This store has excellent customer service, they respond quickly and are very professional, I had several questions and they answered me immediately, a week ago I received the TV Stand that I ordered in this store and I cannot be happier and more satisfied with what I bought, everything arrived in perfect condition and the quality is incredible. My space has completely changed and now I have the most beautiful room of all.

AFA Stores Excellent support from this company

I ordered two desks for my children, one of the two desks came with a broken leg, so I contacted Afa to ask for a guarantee, I wrote them an email and in less than an hour they called me, they promised to send me a replacement as soon as possible, and that's how it was, three days after contacting them the replacement arrived.

I felt very supported and it really shows the difference between a normal store and a trusted store, when you realize that they are willing to help you so that you are happy with your purchase, you know that you should keep buying there.

AFA Stores Store committed to its customers

I ordered an outdoor room for my new home last month, but it was delayed a bit due to carrier issues; what surprised me was that this store contacted me immediately to inform me of the situation and since then they were very attentive to expedite my delivery, they kept me informed of the entire process and after only three days of delay my furniture arrived in perfect condition, I can say that this company is completely committed to its customers and they care that they are satisfied in every way, I was fascinated with the attention I received, I will certainly continue buying in this store.

AFA Stores I love my new dining room

We are fascinated with the dining room that we ordered in this store, It’s design is simply charming, the quality is amazing and it gave life to our house, now we have a new space that is too comfortable and beautiful to share with the family, it has become a very cozy space ; We had doubts at first because we did not know what size was best for us according to our available space, so we contacted customer service and they advised us perfectly, they were friendly and efficient.

AFA Stores I ordered a curio cabinet back in May, it arrived damaged, leg broken, and for some reason, was loaded into the truck with the leg broken

I ordered a curio cabinet back in May, it arrived damaged, leg broken, and for some reason, was loaded into the truck with the leg broken. Somebody somewhere knew the leg was broken, because the actual leg to the cabinet was STAPLED to a black strap within the box. I paid *** for this cabinet, (sale price|) now if I choose to purchase a replacement, AFA wants to force me to pay *** for the same piece of furniture, it's like I'm being penalized/punished for some reason. I spoke to several different people on the day of delivery when this furniture arrived damaged, and NONE of them explained the process that if I chose a refund, that I couldn't then purchase a replacement for the same price, they just assumed I understand their process, and now if I want to purchase that same item, they want to charge me full price. They did however offer me 20% off of current price, but that still makes me end up paying basically *** more than I initially paid in the first place, this process is for sure unfair to the customers.

Do not order furniture from this company. We ordered four accent chairs for our law office and paid for white glove service. The chairs were dumped in our lobby and the delivery people left. We opened the boxes to find the chairs significantly damaged and the stench from the boxes was so bad that it interrupted our business operations. We called within an hour of delivery and sent an email with photographs within 24 hours. A month later, we still have broken chairs in our lobby and no resolution. We have offered to retain the chairs with a partial refund and AFA Stores refused. They have offered replacement chairs, but they have not been sent to our knowledge. *** said we could return them for a full refund but would have to pay a restocking fee and shipping costs which is not part of their policy when a customer is returning damaged goods. I would have given Afa a negative star rating if it was an option.

I ordered a fireplace console toward the end of November and it was not listed as back ordered. They changed the date multiple times since, with notices of back order. It finally was listed as shipped, but then there was another long wait until we heard anything. We finally got a call saying they would deliver it in two weeks time. When the time got nearer, we received another message to say the delivery was cancelled. I emailed to try to receive a refund, but received an unpleasant response saying we cannot be refunded since the item shipped already. This feels like a scam, and we really just want a refund at this point.

AFA Stores I'm a first time buyer of ***

I'm a first time buyer of ***. I wanted to take a moment to bring to your attention the efforts of this company in making their customers completely satisfied.In mid-May, we were notified that our *** Bahama Kahala Royal Suite Dresser had arrived. As promised, they kept me informed while the shipment was being transported by AM Trucking. On June 1 it arrived in ***. It stayed there until I called them and they told me that the Dresser had mistakenly gotten on the truck to ***. He was to contact the site manager and then he said that he would be on his way to *** at the latest.Out of frustration with the ineptitude of the carriers, I called AFA STORES customer service. They kept me updated at all times, communicating and following up with the carrier in an effort to resolve my issue. The *** staff was efficient, polite, and very committed to helping me get my order as quickly as possible. I know businesses are often helpful before a sale, but few go out of their way to help AFTER a sale. This company worked to help me in every way. I appreciate it very much, thank you for all the efforts.

I found the dresser I was looking for at a good price, free shipping and fast delivery, It was easy to find and the description on the page helped me a lot to choose since they have a wide variety of options, the dresser took a while to arrive, two days after the indicated date but Afa Stores contacted me and let me know, I had no problem waiting and now that I have my chest of drawers I am very satisfied, the quality vs the price is amazing.

Received a broken piece the deliveries guys tried to fix it and were unable to I asked for a new piece and AFA stores is refusing to do so, SO I asked for the sofa to be returned and they want to charge me delivery fees. If you get a damage piece refuse delivery this people will not fix it and they take to long to response. I still fighting with them.

This "business" if you can call it that, has not only NOT honored their price match "guarantee" but they then lied about having an item in stock, when they were really ordering it from the manufacturer, then they told me 3 times that my order was due to ship in 3-4 days, the first guy actually telling me a delivery date, and then they create a tracking number after saying I wanted to cancel my order if it was not going to ship by the following day and that was esentially to buy 2 more weeks and my stuff has now 5 weeks later just started shipping. Look, I would have been ok with whatever shipping time it would have taken, but to mislead people, lie about having items in stock, when clearly they don't carry some brands in their own warehouse (if they even have one) and then to continue to lie about the shipping time is what I have a problem with. Why flat out lie? It is mindblowing, I have NEVER had a company be this misleading, AND THEY CHARGED ME 3K 5 WEEKS BEFORE IT EVEN SHIPPED- WHO DOES THAT? WHO CHARGES BEFORE ITEMS SHIP-ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU DONT EVEN PRICE MATCH. PLUS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE TO TOP IT OFF. this place flat out ***, I'm not a review leaving kind of person but be warned- they are not on the up and up, take your business elsewhere

Ordered some shelves from this company and waited months for them to deliver. Shelves are not the same color as depicted on website. Company will return but wants to charge me $1000 for shipping to return. I would not recommend ordering from them due to their vague return policy that tricks you into thinking you can return items if you are unhappy but ends up charging you almost as much for the item to return.

AFA's customer service and items for sale are both poor at best. I ordered two stools in March 2022. They were very poor quality. After AFA sent out two people to try to fix - even after the first one said the stool could not be repaired - they sent a replacement part - not a new stool as the technician requested. AFA finally sent out a new stool, which has also broken twice. I am trying now to get them to respond to my request to fix the stool a second time, but after 6 days I have yet to receive a response. Also, my first customer service person said I would get a small refund for all my troubles, but that was 7 months ago, and despite repeated requests, I have not seen any type of refund at all.

The ordering process was very easy, their website is one of the best I have visited, it is very organized and you can easily find what you are looking for, plus I got a great discount. My order was delivered at the indicated time, everything arrived in perfect condition and the people who delivered it were very friendly and efficient, they helped me put the furniture in the places I indicated and they left the spaces completely clean, the furniture I received is of very good quality. Summer 2020, I bought an expensive (to me) lift chair from this site without ever seeing one in person, let alone sitting in one. It just looked so perfect. I didn't ask any questions, either. I'm in Texas. This company is in Jersey. Basically, it wasn't the best decision on my part. // Chair came, a couple of young men unboxed it, and they put it where it goes. I was SO happy! // After sitting in it daily for a week or two, it became clear that it just was the absolute most wrong chair for me. Everything hurt worse. My husband tried it. It wasn't for him either. I was getting frustrated. My old chair was broken, the new one was a literal pain, and the idea of shipping it back seemed overwhelming. // I wrote a big, stinky email about what seemed to me to be a discrepancy between the store's return policy and the white glove delivery service I had paid for. I got a very nearly *instant response from Josh ***. According to ***, this person is President at AFA Stores. We exchanged several emails, and they were super calm and professional the whole time. They immediately advised that I could still return the chair. However, it would have been a hassle on both ends. A very generous compromise was made. This business, this business person, did everything right and then some!

I can't say enough about how great AFA Stores customer service is. I purchased a set of chairs by a well known manufacturer, but made in ***, just in time for Easter. I assembled them per the instructions. One of the legs was split as a result of manufacturing error. AFA sourced and replaced the leg. It took a lot of work for them to do this. We had company again in the late summer, and I noticed that one of my nearly new chairs was very wobbly. When I pulled back the cambric, I found termite eggs in one of the legs, the screws hanging half out, something that the manufacturer should have avoided. *** and *** at AFA worked with me and the manufacturer to replace the pair of chairs. They could have told me to go away since the chairs were more than a couple of months old. No. They replaced the faulty chair and its box partner. I would recommend this company to everyone who is looking for furniture online. They are aces in my book.

First time I had used this site, but everything went great, I chose a kitchen island, but then I saw another one that was more suited to my needs, so I called customer service to help me make the change, they responded quickly, and we made the change without any inconvenience, they were very receptive to being able to guarantee me the change quickly before continuing with the process, in addition to being very kind, they also helped me to better choose other furniture that I needed for my living room, I was fascinated with the service that they gave me, the furniture arrived in perfect condition and without delays.

I ordered a Pulaski Sofa. After some problems with the sofa, I returned it back to ***, Afa Stores, after he agreed to return through Paypal. He refused to accept shipment; and my refund was then denied through Paypal.Because he has refused to accept shipment, the sofa is still sitting in Fed Ex in Monmouth Jct, ; and will accumulate charges until he agrees to accept it as stated; a resolution is found; or it has to be dealt with by ***.

AFA Stores I placed an order for livingroom furniture on 12/29

I placed an order for livingroom furniture on 12/29. The website stated that the items were in stock but could ship in 4 to 6 weeks. They took payment from my *** account right away. So I assumed my furniture had shipped. I waited a few weeks and then contacted AFA by email with no response, then I called and spoke to rep that needs to find a different day job. She answered the phone as if she hated the world and was not a very nice person. She told me they charged me already because it was a *** method of payment and that my furniture would not ship until 3/2. So I emailed again and recieved same response from another rep. I asked why does your website state the item is in stock if it is not. He told me that the material is available but they are behind in production.That is very misleading. So I wait until a week before ship date and sent another email asking if it was sstill going to ship on time. i was told yes it was still on schedule to ship 3/2. Well on 3/2, I recieved an email telling me now that it will be 5/2 until it can ship. Obviously, the rep did not check to see if my items were going to ship on time. I feel this is very bad business and I will be contacting them for refund of my money and cancellation on the furniture. I will find what I need from a reputable furntiture dealer

AFA Stores TERRIBLE CUSTOMER "NO" SERVICE

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER "NO" SERVICE. July 18, 2022 received two lamps; one was defective. I called AFA and reported this and followed instructions to email what the problem was and sent photos showing damage. I stated that the lamps had to match, so if they were now out of stock I would need to return both lamps. July 20, 2022 AFA offers $60 for me to keep the defective lamp. July 21, 2022 I replied asking what if I do not accept this offer and return the defective lamp. July 22, 2022 AFA responds that I would have to pay a restocking fee plus $43 return postage. July 22, 2022 I respond "why would the customer have to pay a restocking fee and return postage for a damage, defective item?" July 26, 2022 AFA replies "per our return policy we reserve the right to repair, replace, or refund partially." NOTE - this is not what the return policy states about defective items. AFA then offers $80 store credit if I keep the defective lamp. July 26, 2022 I reply that if I keep the defective lamp, I expect a full refund of $212.88 to my credit card NOT a store credit. It is now July 29 and I have not received a reply. ***Responding to customer inquiries/complains via email with a two to five day waiting period is terrible. This could be resolved with one phone call. My next step will be to stop the *** transaction and file a Complaintsboard.com complaint.

AFA Stores I ordered the *** center and bookcases

I ordered the *** center and bookcases. The media center must have been dropped because the wood is splintered on the side. The hinges to the doors were broken. I have emailed them and they said they will send someone out to fix it. Waiting to hear back from them on a time slot to fix it. The bookcases are wobbly and had broken off feet (little buttons on the bottom that go on the floor). I paid extra for in-house delivery and to check for damages and they left the bookshelves knowing they were wobbly and uneven and a danger (can topple over easily and hurt someone). My IKEA furniture has never been wobbly and uneven. And I paid thousand for the set. Now Im praying they send someone soon to fix the doors before I have people over. Ill have to use a wood paint pen over the splintered wood and call it a day. And I have to order wobble wedges and hire someone to secure the bookshelves to the wall to make sure they arent a danger. For the price I expected at least the same quality as IKEA not much worse. Its a shame because I so love the look of the furniture. You cant get something that looks antique like that at IKEA but you can get usable and safe furniture at IKEA. So? Once I spend weeks and hundreds more trying to fix this mess hopefully it will do. But its a major headache. Such a shame. And I literally would have never posted this if it had only been the splintered wood. (Which is bad enough) Im pretty laid back and would have just let it be but this is a mess.

Extremely disappointed. *** is zero. *** never answered emails. Filed complaint issue beginning of August. Received response August 22. Saying they will get back to me. Now November 14th. No answer or type of response. Purchased two products and received one. Second shipment was never shipped. Label was created. *** never received item to ship to me.
