AFA Stores I recently purchased an end table from AFA Stores for my living room

I recently purchased an end table from AFA Stores for my living room. I already own 2 other tables exactly like this one which I purchased from ***, but wanted to buy a third to go with a new chair we bought, and the price for this same item at AFA was good. Yesterday we opened the box after it was delivered. The end table was badly damaged from an obvious moisture problem as it had white, powdery mold on the bottom and black streaks and "splotches", also from moisture damage, all over it. It was quite apparent that the item was shipped without checking it prior to shipping to determine if it would meet customer approval. It wasn't just messed up - it was horribly messed up! Since emailing AFA Stores this afternoon I have received an email stating (I purchased via ***) our $ would be refunded, which is good, but that isn't the point. The point is that this company was willing to ship me a defective, damaged item rather than providing quality service and a quality product to begin with. Although I am happy our money will be returned, there was no letter of apology or explanation from the company - just a *** communication stating the money would be returned to our account in the next few days. Pathetic product and pathetic customer service. Poor business ethics at best. If there was a legitimate reason why this occurred, I am willing to listen and acknowledge that - otherwise, consider me dissatisfied and I will never shop there again. Oh- they also ask for a review at the time you place your order - easy to rack up reasonable to good reviews when a customer hasn't even received the order yet!

AFA Stores Do NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE!

Do NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE! I dont right reviews ever! I ordered a GREY media console - arrives in a timely manner but open the box and its not grey! Its Blush... I looked at my receipt and there was no color but clearly marked on the outside of the box next to the sku number clearly marked BLUSH. I contacted store asap with pictures of color on the *** of console-Here is his response who says hes the owner: From *** This piece comes in only 2 colors they are light grey and natural The finish you ordered is grey. Please see your order receipt attached If you had meant to order the other finish we can exchange it just for the cost of return shipping . -After this reply I sent more pictures of outside of box referring BLUSH and pic of the color of console AND offered to pay the restocking fee but not to pay for the shipping! here is what Josh *** do not accept free returns. The sku on the box matches the sku on your receipt as well as the name. Blush or grety its the right sku and the right color. Return shipping is $613 10% restocking The owner does not care the order is wrong or his website is misleading on the merchandise! The item is *** Console - if it indicated grey/blush I would not have ordered it Im stuck with it and might try to resell it but the $600 shipping to return cost is half the price of the console So 30 day returns are BS! The sad thing is I should have trusted my gut but when reading the return policy- it made it sound easier than it is! Do not order here just not worth it and Im stuck with a almost pink media console for $1800 dollars:(I am thinking about small claims since its so its so obviously marked on the outside of box Blush and no mention of Grey Do not order here

AFA Stores Dealing and buying a bed from AFA Stores was a horrible experience

Dealing and buying a bed from AFA Stores was a horrible experience. *** folks have no clue in regards to customer service. *** who handles their deliveries is even worst than the AFA Stores customer service folks. We were supposed to have the bed delivered on Monday 4/11/22 between 3:30 to 7:30 pm. We unassembled our old bed to have the room ready for the new bed to arrive. Around 5:30 pm we received the call from delivery company that due to heavy traffic they are running behind the schedule and they will be arriving around 8pm. At 7:30 pm delivery company called us again saying that is too late for the delivery tonight. They will deliver the bed next day between 10:30am to 12:30 pm. Since we unassembled our old bed we had to sleep on the floor in sleeping bags. Delivery folks showed up, my wife asked them to remove their shoes to prevent transferring germs to the house. Delivery guys were so rude saying they are not removing their shoes if we have booties to give them they will wear it. I said if you are a professional delivery company you should bring your own shoe booties to wear. When they were assembling the bed I realized that they didnt have proper power tools that allowing them for quick assembly. After they were done there was so many small pieces of styrofoam on the bed and on the floor. I handed them the vacuum cleaner to pick up the debris. He said they dont vacuum. I said this is better than picking up these mess with you hands. He said they dont do cleanup either. I said we paid additional $100 more for the white glove delivery and clean up debris but they also refused to do so. I never been treated so poorly by any companies. A nightmare shopping experience. Their website is full of misleading and false information. Total charge on the website is missing a breakdown of different charges ie, sales tax. I definitely not recommending AFA Stores.

AFA Stores I am disgusted with this company

I am disgusted with this company. I ordered an Picket House Furnishings - *** Oval Dining Set-Table, Four Side Chairs and Banquette Seating with white glove service (room choice with debris removal and assembly) back on April 11. The item was 'in stock' on the website. I was shocked to receive an out of stock email the next day 4/12, with an estimated shipping date of 6/3. Ugh. Okay, than 6/3 came and went, I received an email that the table had a new estimated shipping date of has an estimated shipping date of 6/22. Then, 6/24 came and went and on 6/28 I received another delayed email with a estimated shipping date of 8/17. However, when I checked the website they were advertising a shipping date as early as 7/12. I emailed the company and they let me know that they were trying to get their website updated. Really?! I finally get an email that my order is ready to ship on 7/14 (how convenient, because I had inquired about about the 7/12 date) but they cant process my payment because my 'Affirm payment plan since it has expired'. I emailed them to let them know it was still active on my end, and they were able to process it. Than i receive the shipping email with 'Your order is due to ship in 5-7 business days' and 'PLEASE ALLOW 2-3 BUSINESS DAYS ONCE YOUR ORDER SHIPS FOR TRACKING TO BEGIN TO WORK.' The table was picked up on 7/16, in transit on 7/20 and than sat at a dock until 8/10. Than I get a call that the table will be delivered on 8/17, its delivered and they don't assemble it. I call the company and they have the nerve to ask me, 'why couldn't they assemble it'. OMG I almost lost my s*** The nerve of the to ask like its my fault. I had asked the delivery people how long it would take to assemble and they told me, 'we don't do that, the company will call you to setup a time'. Than I asked the shipping rep why they didn't send someone with the product who could assembly it and they told me that the guys didn't have the skill set and they would send someone out Friday 8/20 to assemble it. Ugh. Okay Friday is here and the guy shows up to assemble it and he is only allotted 30 min. He asks me where he wants the trash hauled to, like I need to dispose of it. Wait, what?! the shipping option I chose was to have the debris removed, meaning they take it with them. So 30 minutes to put together an 8 piece dinning room set, really! They only managed to put together the table! . I am left with the trash and assembly of 7 other pieces. I am disgusted by the company! I want a refund of my shipping choice and to have someone come out and complete the work! Because at this point I am ready to have them come back and get the stupid table!
