WSOP Poker Spend real money, you’ll do well

So I’ve had this app on two phones, this will be the second time I rage delete it. Allow me to explain. Each time, two different devices mind you, I play, I’m not an expert but I know the game well enough. I’ll get up to around 50 or 60 mil stacked up, all earned playing the various games they offer on the app, never through the purchase of chips with real money. Then for some odd reason I hit a wall and can’t win a single hand no matter what it is. This goes on for weeks, not just a bad day at the tables or a ya win some ya lose some kinda thing, like every single hand you play, you lose. Most of the time it’ll be to the same player on a table, no matter what you have, they will have that one card it takes to beat you. The first time around I simply rage quit the game and that was it, well about a year later with a new phone I had cooled down enough to give it another go, thinking it was probably just me. Well, I stacked up about 63mil and guess what. Boom, here’s that wall again, I have a job that allows me to play plenty of games while working, So I get plenty of time in playing this. About two weeks ago is when I hit that wall, so this time around I recognized it and started chatting with these players who seem to be suspiciously lucky, some didn’t respond but a lot did, and all of the ones who responded said that they did in fact use real money to buy chips from time to time. They slam you with pop ups constantly with all of these “great” offers to buy chips, when you open the game, while you play the game, all the time, and you’ll have a great time playing for a while and feel fine ignoring these offers because why would I pay for chips when I can earn them playing the game, right ? Then all of the sudden, you start to lose every hand, not like the usual way this game works where yeah, you’re not gonna win every time, but you shouldn’t lose every time either. The kicker for me this time around was as I just played my final tournament, I lost 17 hands in a row to the same player, some of my hands were very strong too, but what really got me is that in these 17 hands he had pocket pairs 11 times. It always happened to be just the right pair to beat me. To be clear, this player did confirm that they do in fact buy chips with real cash. Also, I don’t play super high stakes here, so I’m not losing huge sums of money at once, they will slowly chisel away at your stack all the while offering up sweet deals to buy chips that seem to start looking good but I’m willing to bet they’ll just cheat you out of what you buy so that you’ll buy more. So after this review gets posted I’ll be deleting this app, if I wanted to spend money on something like this, I would just play real online poker.

WSOP Poker It’s fun, but highly suspicious

I love poker, I play it twice a week or so, and I downloaded this game to let me play during work or days where my group can’t meet up. I noticed a very suspicious pattern emerge.

Initially, I was very, very well off. I went from 250,000 in chips to over 15 million, I was winning hand after hand, catching my outs like a madman and doubling, tripling, and quadrupling up over and over again.

And then I seemed to hit a wall. I suddenly almost never got my outs despite all the probabilities saying I should. I have seen more straights in this game in two days than I’ve seen in six months of live competitive play. I’ve seen a player in tournament player get his ace on the river multiple times in a row in a single game to beat my pocket kings. I played three separate sequential tournaments and got pocket jacks, queens, and aces in all three. I’ve seen flushed occur four out of five hands. It’s not just one unlikely outcome occurring, it’s many, many unlikely outcomes occurring in sequential order again and again and again. I have lost track of players who go all in pre-flop with a hand like 9/2 or 3/8 and instantly flop a full house. It’s insanity.

Unlucky outcomes occur far more than they should, and hands in which I had the nut hand lose on the river far more than chance should allow. I dropped down to barely 2 million in chips despite no change to my strategy or play.

And the oddest thing is I’m not the only one. After I first started playing, I recommended it to my coworkers and friends, and four of them also played it. And oddly enough, all four of them — very skilled players in the real world — all made startlingly similar observations about the way the game plays out.

I can’t read their code, but there is something suspicious going on. I suspect the game gives new players a beginners luck boost to get them into the game, gives them a quick number of wins and chips to boost their confidence and get them into the game. Then they slowly pull it back and make them lose — to push them towards spending real money to make up for losses.

Like I said, I can’t prove it, but it’s very suspicious how the game has changed the longer I play it. I’ve decided to stop playing and delete the game off my phone. I’m sure they will remind me their algorithm is certified by whoever, but with the complexity of modern code and the number of updates and patches apps receive today, even if their game was legitimate initially, who’s to say they haven’t since slanted it, accidentally or intentionally? And what kind of preventions are in place against hackers and cheaters?

It’s just not something I feel comfortable playing, not with the number of ads pushing me to spend money, and not with all the funkiness that goes on. I’m folding.

WSOP Poker Fun but lame

Your server keeps gagging frequently and sporadically. It has cost me millions by trashing my winning hands. Often it fails to register when I call or raise, instead it registers a fold - again costing me countless wagers. Otherwise, the games are well designed and the reward progression are encouraging. Fix the gagging problem and get my better review. I never have those issues on other sites. I also think it’s unseemly for an animated dealer to pander for tips. ShotClock Second Review: No change. Connection still keeps crashing. It disrupts the game and costs me bugs pots time after time. It’s a shame that this really fun app can’t function more reliably. Third review Same constant issue. Crash. Fold my hand. Forfeit my pot. You should award me about 1/2 B bonus points for actual losses and frustration. It’s not like they cost you anything or actually give me anything tangible. But it would be fun to buy in to some high stakes tables. J’sayin... Fourth review If you can ever get past the constant issues of gagging and folding me out of a hand or game, I’d give you a decent rating. But since I often get disconnected in the middle of a hand, I think the site is undeserving of praise. Still t get through many hands because the internet connection keeps gagging. Very frustrating and costs me a lot of good pots. Will you ever get it together? Does anyone read this? “Internet connection issue. Please wait while we try to reconnect you. “ Time and time again. Constantly and at the worst critical times. My hand gets folded out and I lose big pots, even during tournaments. Looks like lots of others have this issue. For the love of Pete - fix it. ! Nothing new. Solve the connection issue and I’ll boost your rating. Same same. Games are fun but the experience turns from entertainment to aggravation because of getting folded or completely disconnected due to “internet connection issues”. Two stars *** Robo-folds are a constant plague. Why can’t y’all maintain an internet connection? Two stars *** Same issues. Same rating. I guess you'll never fix the robo-fold issue. It sure is frustrating to have your hand folded in the middle of play, especially during s tournament. It would be nice to have another tournament between 250K and 3M buyin. What's the point in rating you? Obviously, I'm wasting my effort. Two stars doesn't change into the crashes and reconnections get fixed I’ve upgraded you to three stars Still a lot of dumped hands in play, which inevitably fills the next hand as well I’ll give you four stars now I get so tired of having hands folded because of your Internet resets Getting progressively worse I have to reboot my phone for your app to load Sometimes more than once Don’t bother telling me to contact tech tech support That’s YOUR job You’re barely cutting it to get 2 stars

Nothing but a bunch of phony CROOKS ! Everyone involved with this game , especially the developers and the the crooks selling chips should be thrown in jail and throw away the keys while your at it ! WSOP Poker Still rigged

Losing streaks and bad beats are unreal A few months later, still the same. More months later, still rigged. If it’s all fair why is chance of getting max prize on spin wheel much less than the 1 in 10 of the actual wedges? Definitely feels like game is pushing sale of chips From about 400 million to 10 million in a month with a ton of unlikely bad beats... still totally rigged! Am I just a crappy player? ... maybe, but no way that bad. Still getting KILLED by unlikely bad beats. Now I can’t seem to win at all. I guess I shouldn’t leave bad reviews. RIGGED! Still rigged! Laughingly I won a little so the message comes up “Rate Us?”, haha! Why doesn’t this pop up after a horrible bad beat? Also, if odds are fair in the whole game, why does the two slots in 10 on the spin wheel with the the maximum prize come up literally maybe once in 100 spins? Fair, Huh? That’s funny, I actually won a little... “rate us”. Still Rigged Still rigged! This time inched my way up to over 1 billion! Then they pulled the plug and I couldn’t win anything all the way down to under 100million. For some time if there was a possible hand to beat me, that’s what would come up against me. Still very hard for me to believe it’s actually fair, but why am I surprised they’re making money from people losing and needing to buy chips. Still a fun well done game 8/12 still all the same as above. I just laugh because I’ve been on a 400,000,000 losing streak with unbelievable bad beats. I just came out slightly ahead after buying in for 15,000,000 and the “rate us” banner pops up. You don’t ask me to rate during the horrible losing streak? Haha Still totally rigged but is fun to play Update 8/24, STILL RIGGED. NO CHANGE 9/1: still IMPOSSIBLE bad beats. At this point I can assume that if there is a possible hand that will beat me, someone will definitely have it to take me down. STILL RIGGED 9/4 fun game but still rigged. Way, way, way too many outrageous, impossible, bad beats. If it’s not rigged then someone is hacked in. 9/9 from over $500,000,000 to 300,000. I can’t win. Still think it’s rigged. Way too many unimaginable situations to take my chips. Maybe I should stop saying this and ‘they’ might let me win a few. Naaah! No change, 1 star 10/19 Wow, keep asking for a rating? Well, haven’t changed from 1 star. I thought the bad beats were difficult, now they’re impossible! At this point I can absolutely count on getting beat, no matter how good my hand is. If it is remotely possible, I get beat! It usually takes runner cards, post flop for the other guy, but I still get beat. Right now I’m down to 3 million. I’m sure this bad review isn’t going to help my ‘luck’, but screw it, it’s honest. 1/18/23 Still Rigged! 2-2-23 STILL TOTALLY RIGGED. I get unbelievable beat after unbelievable beat!
2-7-23 “rate us”… Seriously?! I was over a billion 6 months ago, now barely 20 million! How can it not be rigged?

WSOP Poker Rigged

Forget everything you know about probabilities. They don’t apply.

It starts with the bonus wheel, where one of the twelve slots give a big bonus. But you don’t win 1 of 12 times, rather one of 100 or so.

And in the game, if a stupid player goes all in with 95 against your AA, and you call, your chance is at best 50/50. Expect to see a ton of people with small pocket pairs who have a 2/45 chance of improving their hands get trips on the river. And JQ besting QQ all in. And similar crazy scenarios, over and over. All these things CAN happen in real poker, but here they happen all the time. And when you sit and watch one hand after another being decided that way, you soon know something is seriously wrong. Statistically, you get for instance 2/45 x 7/45 x 4/45 x 4/45 x 2/45 for the last 5 river cards, and the probability of this being random is minuscule. And then you notice this over and over, and you know this is not a place to stay. You were beaten 3 big hands in a row, not by your opponents, but by the program. And you get angry.

The site is nice and good looking, and they have interesting things going on, like player leagues and bonuses. But obviously they feel the need to rig the game even so.

I also firmly believe they use bots that see all the cards before they are shown to the players to rip players off. A lots of wild calls make no sense in any other scenario.

I have played a lot here, and while I still have 3 billion chips that I have won, I am simply giving up. The site wants people to bet wild, so they give the crazies wins on stupid bets. And if you are a good player that’s very frustrating, especially when you KNOW it is not random, but the site messing with you. So stay away if you like real poker. Really!

PS: The site insists they have a random card generator. That doesn’t mean they use it. And if they use it, they also use a program to drop cards suggested by it - with a discard algorithm. I have a Ph.D in statistics, and there is no way this is random. Also, as you can see from other comments here, I am not the only one saying this. I think the programmers underestimated poker players’ understanding of statistics. Frankly, I don’t understand how they think you can build long lasting customer relationships based on cheating, dishonesty, and making customers angry every day!

PPS: What also is amazing is that they totally ignore all the bad reviews. The site is more rigged than ever. And the response below is the same they always give. A) It doesn’t mean they don’t modify the general odds and rig they game, only that it is not directed against any one particular player. B) Having a random card generator does mean it is used, and doesn’t mean cards are not discarded by the program and additional cards supplemented.

Beat them back where it hurts when they rip you off with a setup or a bot next time: Don’t buy anything from them for at least two weeks. Let them feel our pain in their wallets!

WSOP Poker Lots of glitches and poor support

I like the gameplay, but have encountered many glitches while playing (app freeze, constant disconnections...etc). When you log a support ticket, the responses generally have a condescending tone and blame you for the issue. While this is a for fun game, vs a real money game, chip purchases are an option. I don’t mind a glitch that costs me free chips, but a glitch that causes the loss of paid chips is unacceptable.

Additionally, they “rake” a portion of each pot. I realize this is kind of a poker norm, but in the case of purchased chips, you are being charged twice. Higher hand games should be rake free, as most players have either paid for the chips they are using, or have earned their way to these “elite” tables.

You cannot win real money, or anything of value, playing this game. That being said they charge a lot for chips, make huge amounts of money off the game, and treat their players horribly (you don’t like...too bad for you, we have plenty of other players)

Update: The support is still horrible. The standard canned response is, we are responsible for nothing, so bugger off. I have bought chips on multiple occasions, and played a good number of hands. While I enjoy the overall gameplay, there are a lot of glitches (hit the check/fold button, and the hand folds even though no one has placed a bet, hit the check button...same thing the hand folds, so many disconnects when my ISP signal is strong...router is fine...software is all updated...no other programs running...etc.). As stated above, if I am playing with free chips and lose a hand due to a glitch, no problem. If I am playing with chips I bought, then I would expect a refund of what I had paid into the hand, as I never got to finish the hand. If I receive an error message generated by the WSOP system that there has been a problem, refund the chips I have into said hand. But not WSOP, they prefer to blame the customer. Do yourself a favor, play free chips only, or save up for a trip to a real casino game (real winnings, real players, real perks for your play).

Update 2: After playing a significant number of hands, it is clear the deck/dealing algorithm is bias towards juicing pots, creating enticing hands that are guaranteed losers (cards on table have no flush/straight potential, one player has pocket Kings/Aces, and two other players with big stacks both have pocket queens). Said situations happen too often. Too many four of a kind hands...etc. The hands/situations in see are not what you see at a real table (in my experience). Also, there is a fair amount of collusion by players sharing hand data on WhatsApp and other platforms. The company does not care about any of this, as it keeps the chip sales churning.

Update 3: WSOP Support is the absolute worst. They should have a different name for their team, because support is not their strong suit. I have wasted to much time with this piece of garbage game...logging out for good.

WSOP Poker Pop bracelet events

I have sent a review in the past regarding the bracelet events where a ring or bracelet could be won if the player is fortunate enough to pick the correct case with a terrible odd of 1 out of five. I have participated in past bracelet events where it took me more than 20 attempts at a level before finally finding the ring or bracelet. This becomes very frustrating and ends up being an unpleasant playing experience. If a case choosing format must be used, I would suggest that every time an incorrect case is chosen, that case would disappear and only four would remain. This would repeat until the ring or bracelet is finally found. So it would take a maximum of 5 chances at each ring/bracelet level. After sending the first review, I was hoping for an improvement but to my dismay, WSOP started the pop bracelet events. The odds at each level were worse than the pick the correct case events. Granted, if a wrong pop was selected, the incorrect pop would disappear but look at the odds of getting a ring or bracelet at each level. Ring one stage had 9 pops for a 1/9 chance. Ring two had 18 pops for a 1/18 chance. Ring three had 28 pops for a 1/28 chance and the bracelet stage had 40 pops for a dismal 1/40 chance! I have spent much time and effort each day on both of my accounts to complete all daily missions in order to secure the maximum number of tickets and I succeeded in doing that on both accounts. What I despised was spending the tickets and selecting numerous empty pops that gave me nothing in return! At the very least, chips should be given as a reward. On my Apple account, I finally won the 3 rings and attempted to win the bracelet. I selected empty pop after empty pop after empty pop until I finally found the bracelet after the 35th attempt! At that point, I was no longer pleased because I got the bracelet. I understand why WSOP had to extend this event for another 3 days. A lot of players must have complained about this event format. I would much rather have all of the future bracelet events have this method included in addition to the case or pop format: any player who is successful in completing all daily events during the bracelet event will automatically earn all rings and bracelet for that event. WSOP already rewards players with coupons/candy canes/ horseshoes etc. with additional coupons/candy canes/ horseshoes etc. when the daily mission is completed for that certain day of the event. Enticing players with this format will motivate them to play every day during the event in order to complete all daily missions. Let’s face it. These are all virtual rings and bracelets which doesn’t cost WSOP any more if they were to hand out 100 vs. 1000 rings or bracelets. It would also be nice if players could also display their rings while playing in the various games. Perhaps it could be displayed in the player gift section when gifts are not being received. Thank you for considering my suggestions for improving the positive enjoyable WSOP playing experience!

WSOP Poker Best you might hope in a simulated poker app

Where is my share of the Saint Patrick’s Day Jackpot for winning the particular bracelet? There’s not anything that can duplicate live poker in a casino. Guessing this app does its best. Various ways to get free chips. Many tournament and chip poker offerings that are rotated. Bracelets, rings and prize bonuses are the incentive to continue. Problem is all about the algorithm. Ecogra is not at all certified in the United States except on a limited consult basis in New Jersey. Deals on this app are in bunches set for contested hands. Full house vs flush, flush vs straight and straight vs three of a kind are examples. Happens in a statistical basis far more often than in a casino and there is where there’s a clear winner. Ace hands with a lower kicker win far too often against higher ace kicker hands. Furthermore higher contested pairs before the flop hold up less often statistically. The river card plays in determining the winner too much. Worse off is the predominance statistically of action flops like pairs on the flop, straight cards and three cards of the same suit. Pairs statistically in the casinos are around 17% and here they’re particularly much greater. Definitely seasoned players like myself will easily know the difference. Considerable long runs of garbage hands that after folding your hand and the five cards are dealt on the table, you would not have won anyway even if you played the hand. Notice how after you fold a hand before the flop that after the flop would have likely been the winning hand, you don’t ever know whether it would have been a winner because the hand never gets to a river card once. It’s like playing video games opposed to actual card games.
This doesn’t guarantee that you are using the same random number generator which was evaluated during that time period, that you aren’t using a “just miss” chip or other methods meant to keep players playing and that you aren’t small batching to match individual player hands with the cards dealt on the table. Furthermore does not mean that you aren’t using any automated “players” to fill up tables. I bring up the mention of “momentum” which exists within the video game world and not at poker tables. Hands dealt on this app are much better under momentum. You either win or come very near to winning. There is not any mention of which online gaming jurisdictions or their regulations which obviously are varied given the jurisdiction. A mentioned confidence level of 95% not 100% for a non-human, mechanical and especially digital random number generator basically says that Ecogra doesn’t know for a certainty that your generator is definitively random. Must mention to you once more how Ecogra is not authorized in the United States except on a consult basis in New Jersey. Online games for amusement purposes and which offer no actual legal tender payouts or prizes are not subject to jurisdictional gaming regulations. However this app accepts legal tender for play. The chips bought constitute a sale. Sales of which might come within the auspice of regulatory bodies like the FTC that determine fairness.

WSOP Poker CARDS ARE NOT RANDOM. RIGGED

The creators of this game can say what they want to (and they've had to since I'm not only one who's noticed this), but this game is simply rigged.

Sure, actual gameplay is set up nicely, as is ease of use and graphic design. However...

If you have ever played Texas hold 'em fairly regularly, live or otherwise, you will recognize a significant difference after playing this game for a few hours or so.

First, I noticed that there seemed to be a lot of straight and flush draws. That or I was hitting at least a part of almost every flop. Even if it was bottom pair, there was something about nearly every hand I played that made it enticing to stay in and play. At first I chalked it up to just being lucky. After playing several more times, however, I've come to realize that this doesn't change. The number of PROMISING HANDS is remarkable. This simply doesn't happen in real poker. Note, I said "promising hands" not good ones. That's just it... The frequency of bad beats is unbelievable! You will see more people beating pocket kings with their 9 2 off-suit cause they caught a straight on the river (for example) than you would ever see playing live hold 'em. This happens CONSTANTLY. After a while, it's almost predictable.

Now, it wouldn't normally bother me to the point in which it has if it wasn't for the fact that this game is constantly asking you (tempting you for some, I'm sure) to purchase more chips using your actual money. That's where the sneakiness and the reason for my poor rating comes into play. If you're going to ask people to spend their money on your game, you can at least make it fair. When you look beneath the surface, it's pretty obvious that the makers of this game have set it up in a way where a player wins some pretty big hands with bad cards but also so they NEARLY win big with a ton of others. It's the "I almost had that pot" mindset that keeps real gamblers coming back to the casinos and some poor WSOP users coming back to the chip store to reload. The makers of this game know this and they are simply taking advantage of certain individuals and their weakness.

Even if you have no intention of paying a penny (like myself), the amount of fun playing this game is very limited simply because the cards ARE NOT RANDOM. Now, what's the point in playing poker when the cards are predetermined?

Good for passing time in the doctors office or airport maybe, but not much else. Play long enough and you will soon see that you will witness more bad beats, straight and flush draws, ugly boards and numerous players being dealt pocket pair on the same hand than you will EVER see playing legit Texas hold 'em poker.

Now that's bad, but the fact that this is undoubtably being done by this game's creators in an attempt to "hook" it's players in order to get them to pay up is terribly wrong.

Again, Playitka will deny this allegation up and down and believe me, they've had to (just google "WSOP app rigged"), but no matter what they say, they're lying; plain and simple. WSOP Texas hold 'em is most definitely a fixed game. Look elsewhere for fun, fair poker!

WSOP Poker Too many

I love to play the game but have many problems with accessing DB. Along with other tech difficulties. Same issue with DB some days it will not access and it’s almost impossible to gain 30 seconds of time and access more duplicate points. Still enjoying but frustrated at times Thanks The db problems been fixed. Thanks Again I enjoy the game. I go up and down but it’s still fun. Thanks Broke again but that’s part of it all. Thanks for allowing an old man a little fun for free Thanks Still enjoying, but how do you request duplicate cards from friends and can you ask fo specific cards? Thanks Still enjoying the game and it takes care of a lot of my time and keeps my mind a little sharper. Thanks Again I enjoy the game overall, the Bingo game was good, I enjoyed it and would not mind seeing it again . Also the different badges pins etc. make it more interesting Thanks Like the new games but why do the task get so hard early after task 1. Thanks Still enjoying and I like the new variations of the game you keep introducing. Thanks You keep things interesting, keep it up. I do run into problems on occasions on accessing the game and have to reset all settings to access it. Any solutions? Thanks again Still enjoying, though not very good at it, still learning, liked the bingo, too many pops on the market board for me but still fair and fun Thanks Lost 15 billion on 100,000,000 auto spins that I did not activate, my phone was in my pocket by the time I figured out how to stop it, I’d lost 15 straight, which was also strange because there were no wins in any of the spins. Was this a glitch or operator error? Thanks comments from me, still like the bingo and wild card game and the variations you introduce on occasion. Thanks for the work. Keep up the good work Still hanging in there enjoying the game. Like the many variations. Thanks for the work Still like the variations in games inside the game. observation, the wheels game seems to seldom land on big numbers so played less. Thanks Same comments like the game in games but the wheel game needs to get bigger prizes for the win Thanks Why did you take out the 3 rings automatic win, in the slot game where you earn spins by winning money. It took a lot of anticipation and reward apprehension out of the game. Still enjoying though. Thanks for the work. How many ratings to know I enjoy the game win or lose (more when I win.) Like the combined games you featured lately. Thanks. Still think in the spin to win game you should Still allow 3 rings to complete that goal as it was originally. Makes things more interesting. Thanks Again like the variety of games, but it gets really hard to reach task, they get more and more expensive the closer I get to monthly goal. Thanks for the work on your part. No real complaints. I would like the-season progression to remain stable and not escalate so extensively when nearing completion. Still enjoying.suggest you give spins for completion of each task, also give at 10 spins for a spin win not just one won, and 3 rings on one spin should take you to the top. Thanks for providing an enjoyable experience.always have something to say, don’t win much but enjoy

WSOP Poker Fun - But not real poker

This is a fun app to play but this is absolutely not genuine poker and if you are looking to sit down at a table to find out who is the best poker player at the table stay away from this one.

I believe that they do deal random cards, but I KNOW they have an algorithm built in to create action.

This leads to an endless amount of hands with people coming from behind with the worst hand.

If you really pay attention to everyone’s hand as the community cards come out you will notice that almost everyone in each hand will “get a piece” of the community cards. Whether that is your straight draw, flush draw or a pair. It is rare to have a few people miss everything completely and extremely rare for a high card to take down a hand.

For those of us that play real poker live or on more realistic sites we realize that yes.. rainbow flops do exist.. there are hands where a straight and/or flush isn’t possible and a high card does often win a hand.

*I have seen 2 four of a kinds and then a straight flush within 7 hands in a single tournament.

*The last two times I had pocket aces I lost to flopped quads.

*My first day I won with a straight flush and 4 of a kind twice in 2 hours.

*I had a $24,600 to $400 chip lead in a tournament when it got to heads up. Over around 30 hands we got all in preflop 12 times. I had a mathematical edge in each all-in hand (some coins flips where I had the pair but mostly an Ace with a better kicker) and lost all 12 hands. This is when I really opened my eyes to what was going on in this application.. The next tournament I played I got into another dominating position when it got down to heads up. I lost another 5 preflop all-ins with the better hand. In two games that is 17 pre-flop all-ins I went against (including two of my own) with the better hand and lost consecutively. (That’s mathematically almost impossible)

It may be random as to who is going to win the hands, but it is a flat out lie for them to say they don’t have an algorithm built in to create action - thus making the poker itself not real.

I purchased chips multiple times because I really do find the application fun and entertaining but I was having some technical issues because despite the app saying my phone is compatible with it my operating system is not enough to handle it. I would buy into a tournament and then lose my seat and my buy in when the application closed by itself.

I contacted support and they said my phone didn’t have a powerful enough operating system despite it saying right here it’s compatible.

I requested a refund of the buy-ins I lost as a paying player with the understanding I was taking a risk if I continued to play on my phone. They offered me 1/12 of the chips I requested and felt I was owed (about $2.25 worth of chips). Seeing as I had spent about $100 on this application I feel a little bitter and will no longer play.

The graphics are good and if you don’t know how Hold’em or Omaha are played you can learn quickly.

If you have played poker and are looking for a realistic game of poker then this is not the app for you.

I’ve never written a negative review of an application before but, the way they represent themselves as a genuine poker experience is false marketing and I felt obligated to share this.

Expertise: I put myself through College playing online poker.

WSOP Poker Great Game Play etc

Hmmm - changed my rating and a lot of the text after playing for a few months - it shows what I added below but not what I changed above my new additions and star ranking are both unchanged after trying to edit it several times!

Ok game - graphics and play are good most of the time - see below - you do have to buy to work your way up but - once I took the bait and bought a 10 Time’s each slot on the bonus wheel - when I got the receipt from Apple there were two charges when I only authorized one - easy refund from Apple but no explanation if that is a regular occurrence with this game or not - won’t be spending anymore money - also the text messaging system is difficult at best and they need to add the ability to text your friends in the game from the lobby - that would make it much more enjoyable and get people to know each other better so we would play more together!

PS. The game lists 30/60 tables in missions for daily points but there doesn’t appear to be any 30/60 tables in the game? At least in Holdem?

More below after playing for several month!

Now - it’s pretty clear they manipulate the game - if you don’t play every hand you’ll be rewarded with a lot of folded wining hands but if you play every hand you’ll lose - even with great hands and it’s not how I play I can assure you - test it out and see - every regular player admits the game is rigged - if you don’t buy chips you lose - pretty hard to reconcile that - it’s not anything like real poker - the number or 4 of a kinds is enormous - the number of two or three even 4 people splitting the pot happens so often it’s no coincidence - they still don’t have text or chat in the lobby with friends and they have 25/50 and then 100/200 tables - no 50/100 tables - a lot of stuff I could say but with my other comments I think you get the point - it’s made to make money for the developers not to make it fair for the players - it you don’t mind spending 10-20-30 a month to increase your rank/club level or win bracelets or rings you’ll enjoy it - otherwise you’ll waste a lot of time and money trying - when they fix it so you have to keep spending it becomes clear it’s rigged! If you don’t play you lose rank every 48 hours - the point system to regain or increase in rank is not consistent - it takes 42 mil to maintain K5 status but to get to A’s you need 250 mil and to keep it is 120 mil and that’s just A1 - getting to the next level and above is near impossible unless you spend big bucks - they have random tourneys that have high buy ins and are fold or all in - their fun but don’t get you anywhere and be careful - your club always defaults to Omaha not Holdem if that’s what you play great - if it’s not and you go to buy in your at an Omaha table not a holdem one - you have to specifically choose holdem to play holdem - the default buy in is high so watch your selection instead of just clicking into a game - the default chip stack is set to the middle of the range so watch that too! I guess that’s enough for now - when I lose my current bank I will be deleting this game as I’m not spending more money nor wasting more time on a rigged game!

PS. The lag is so bad at times - even with full signal that you’ll frequently lose a wining hand cause you can’t play thru the pop up when your lagged! Also - the slot machine is available in a game only and it defaults to 5 mil - the lowest bet on the slot machine is 100k so be careful there too!

WSOP Poker Fun to play but rigged!

Was 2 Stars: This poker game is fun to play but it is rigged. This game makes you lose to really bad beats. When you actually purchased some chips and have a lot to play with, you will be beaten by many bad beats until you lose most of your money. When you fold on a crappy hand, the flop many times will match and tell you that you should have played when actually folding is the smarter move. It puts small kinds of inputs into your brain to play those crappy hands which many players are doing. This is not real odds poker and you will find out when your play the All In or Fold game. Everyone will have great hands, just that you will normally lose to a bad beat. I wish this game was more like live poker with random cards being drawn instead of getting rivered on the last card. Seems like this game is programmed to make you buy chips as it is definitely rigged. 2 Stars for a great program and not real odds poker.

1 STAR Update: The company did reply back saying the cards all dealt in random. Pure bogus if you tell me. If you play the tournament with the Fold or All In, you will notice you have great starting playing cards most hands. You will be beaten by a bad beat majority or the time and it’s a guessing game on weather to go in with low playing cards. I just played in a tournament and had pocket aces. I went all in before the flow. I got beaten by a jack queen with runner runner queen queen on the turn and the river to lose 4 million in chips. I counted all my bad beats with the best hands played only to lose mostly on the river card with someone playing stupid cards like off suit 7 2 or 10 4. If you buy in starts getting low on a 5-12 million dollar buy in. Let’s say you have $200k left, you may get some winning cards only to lose it all again on a bad beat. The game is programmed for you to purchase chips with real money though iTunes. I did buy twice and now regretting it. This game is mainly for entertainment and it is rigged to have you pay for more chips or sit out of the game. It’s fun but a waste of time if you think the cards are dealt randomly especially on the All In or Fold type tournaments. In fact I would say every poker game on their site is mechanically set up for you to lose no matter what.

Update: After a few month of playing, this game is definitely rigged. It is made so you have to buy more chips to play. One some days you will noticed that game will allow you to win and soon after, it shoots an pop up to give a review which they want STARS. If not, you go back to the same. Many times I see a -year winner with a Ace high flush, 2nd place will a King high who loses and a maybe a Jack high flush who also loses. This happens about 10 or more times and usually you will see this happening very often. Of you will lose on the river on a large pot with someone sho stayed in with 7 -2 or some crappy cards. It is all computerized and not designed for you to win even if you play your cards very smart and tight. If you only play picture cards and suited high pairs only you will still lose in the long run. If you join into playing in one of the tournaments to win a bonus that say it will be split among winner, don’t be fooled as the split is so small when the pot shows in the trillions. It’s only for entertainment and designed to take your money if you were to buy chips. If you want to play a long time, I suggest you buy about $10 worth of chips which is a little over a million chips. Then go to the lower stake tables to slowly lose all your chips. On the larger chip tables, you will lose really fast with bad beats or win some and the WSPO review will pop up as they would like a 5 STAR Review which they don’t deserve for fairness. Still 1 STAR until things change to make the playing field more even.

WSOP Poker To cartooney, completely unrealistic and rigged

First I’ll start off by saying that I played poker at a very high level for many years but have been reduced to playing these apps due to the online gaming laws. Just for giggles I figured I would try this to see what it’s all about. After playing this for several weeks and playing several thousand hands I have come across several issues pertaining to this app. The first issue is the program that’s used for the card algorithm. It is absolutely abysmal! It seems that every fourth or fifth flop (and sometimes back to back 3 or 4 times in row) the board pairs itself ie….7-2-7, J-J-3, K-9-9. As I stated earlier I played for many years and in many big tournaments and I have never never ever seen the flop get paired as often as it happens on this app. It’s absolutely ridiculous and completely unrealistic. Secondly, because of how frequent the flop pairs itself the odds of hitting trips is significantly increased which basically FORCES YOU TO PLAY ALMOST SINGLE EVERY HAND! Whether the other players are aware of this or not I’m not sure but because nobody really folds you’re forced to call with just about any hand based on pot odds alone. Also when the flop does hit it always appears to come out very connected ie…Ah-Ad-10h and your holding As-3s or 8s-8c-9c and you're holding Kh-Kd or the board flops 3h-4h-6h and you’re holding As-Ks. The texture of the board now forces you to play your hand fast because there are still are 6, 7, 8 people in the hand because nobody folds regardless of the preflop bet/raise. So ultimately you’re constantly being put in a position of trying to protect your hand instead of being able to extract value for your hand. The publisher of this app can make whatever claims they want about the program that runs the algorithm and it’s fairness but I’m telling you it’s complete garbage. This card algorithm program is very flawed and needs to be replaced. I’m sorry but this program is designed to generate big pots forcing the majority of people to lose their free chips in the hopes that those people will purchase more chips from their app! I do believe that the cards are preset but are randomly dealt to the players. There is now way the publisher can claim that the algorithm isn’t’ flawed. If this app had real money play on it it would be OUT OF BUSINESS. My advice to the publisher on this issue is to find another card algorithm program which is more true to form!

Secondly, the play is downright horrible. I understand, I get it there is nothing at stake other than free chips (unless you’re purchasing the chips) but nobody understands what the value of a starting hand is and what the value of a calling hand is and I’m not even going to go into the finer points of poker and playing position because that’s non existent. This app is basically meant for people to play every hand and may the luckiest hand win. Thirdly, upon launching the app I am bombarded with ads to buy buy buy! Buy chips now! Buy $30 million chips for $9.99 etc…. Stop with the pop up ads! Replace them with banners at the bottom of screen so that these obtrusive and obnoxious ads are not up in your face! I’m tired of having to X out 4 and 5 and 6 screens to get to the main screen. If you’re so desperate for business then a chip store to the lobby. Nobody wants to be bothered or felt pressured to buy your chips. As I stated if your looking to inform people of tournaments or deals then ad a banner to the bottom of the screen.

Lastly the only real positive that I found while playing this app were the graphics. The graphics are nice and it’s the only reason why I gave this app one star otherwise I would have given it a 0. A little note to the publisher….you should pay more attention to the comments that rate this app low because the majority of people have the same issues and same complaints. Stop denying that there’s nothing wrong with the card algorithm and just fix it!

Peace out

WSOP Poker It’s All About Money, Little about the Poker game!

I’ve been playing WSOP for almost a year. There are constant reminders to purchase various chip package daily, hourly…that offer many additional perks to other side games. Sometimes the entire packages are given after payment and at times you don’t get the entire package you paid for. Customer service is the worse that I have ever seen. A generic message arrives immediately after you submit a issue that a pit boss will respond and then a message we are working on your issue, and then NOTHING. No resolution whatsoever. I’ve written followup 8 to 10 times, and NOTHING!

Playing the game is so incredibly suspect. An excellent hand that will cause you to increase your bet, then by the last card, you lose a tremendous amount of money. They lure smaller chip players into high stake tables and allow them to win billions at first, in hopes to get them hooked, then you begin to lose big…ultimately they hope you will begin to buy chip packages. When I first started playing, I would win 25,000 billion several times at their side game of slots…..then once I got “hooked” on the WSOP site, I can’t win on slots at all…..I look up and have lost billions on the slots. While I was winning huge amounts , they moved me to the Master level..you must bet billions of Chips within 2 days or lose your status. The game becomes a great deal of pressure. And you can get caught up. There is a tremendous amount of manipulation built in to get you to spend an absorbent amount of money.

They constantly miscalculated my chip balance and when I request assistance, none is given. I am at a Diamond Level…..which I am to be “handled” with care……no care whatsoever. The hype is not real.

I have read reviews where players have indicated the game is rigged and I know this to be true. People enter tables bidding huge bets that bow out immediately…they get the table to increase bets…..more loss, more likely to buy chips. And these people betting have very little amount of chips and comparison to real players…after a few hands they leave…they have achieved their goal to increase betting at a conservative table. When I would increase my bet after the flop, a small amount, everyone would fold…no money to win. When I would fold after the flop, the table bet would increase by millions. This happens all the time. Something is strange about the game. I’m a good poker player and I would be at a table and either I would lose or my cards were so terrible, I couldn’t bet….this would go on for 40 hands straight. It was frustrating and unbelievable. I would stop playing for 2 days and when I’d sign on, I would have the best hands and win a lot. I would continually get reminders to play, someone has sent me gifts, etc. while I was losing, the players that were winning were low level players…winning 8 hands in a row. The focus was about getting them hooked….I was already hooked, so no need to care about me winning…I was vested already. Smh!

While you can’t do anything about WSOP not responding to you for miscalculation of chips or even not giving you the chip package you purchased, there is Apple Support and they are great!

The game starts off dazzling with so many levels, perks, daily small gifts, side games….colorful screen, etc. but once your there and involved, it is very dark and dismal. The computer controls the outcome of the hands and the unfairness and dishonesty becomes obvious. When I have been treated very poorly in a several games or have taken a break for a day or two, when I sign on to play all the sudden I will win and a 3 Billion chip bonus…it’s to make up for the shabby treatment of prior games.

I’m not playing anymore…it took me a while to understand their system. It’s just not for me. This is my truth, I’m happy that Apple Support is an option….so there is an overseer to assist the user. Without Apple, you won’t have no recourse to the mishandling of your purchases.

WSOP Poker Totally rigged!

Update 4/19/22
I kept track of the wins this morning of all players in a game. They went straight, straight, flush, pair, straight, flush, won without final, full house! Now tell me that ever happens in real poker!

Flushes and straights galore! Yes, everyone may have the same odds of winning, but that in no way means the cards are treated as a shuffled deck and dealt completely random! My family and I play a lot of Texas hold-’em, and never in my life could you possibly deal as many straights, flushes, 4 of a kinds, and even 3 of a kinds as this game does! The luck revolves around to random players, and if you’re the lucky one at the time you’ll win two or three hands, then it moves to the next lucky one! Totally rigged! If I’ve got 2 pair, I can bet someone else has a straight! If I’ve got 3 of a kind, then no doubt someone else has a full house! I’m not saying I don’t win a lot, because I do! And they will boost your chips into the billions to make you feel great and keep on playing! Of course that’s only to get you addicted to the point of buying one of their umpteen specials they have running! I’m not dogging them for trying to make money, but I will dog them for not making it completely random so they can make more money! They don’t want you to lose, and they want everyone to win at least some of the time! Keep everyone happy and spending! Giving it 3 stars because it is a great platform, but if they would just let go people would be loyal and not leave once they’ve learned what’s happening!
Update: Thanks for the response. The mechanics of the game? You don’t create the mechanics of the game in a random deal, because when it is random, there is no “creating” anything! I never said everyone didn’t have the same chances. What I said is the app does not shuffle the deck and deal completely random cards. You run an algorithm that makes sure wins are doled out equally, and some people who realize that fact accept it and play within those rules, knowing that they just need to be patient and skillfully guess when it’s their time to be lucky for two or three hands. Totally random cards would make it very difficult for you to keep people playing considering they would have very sporadic wins and losses. There is skill that goes into learning this system and winning at it consistently, and players can also take advantage of bluffs that overpower any algorithm being applied, so proving what’s actually taking place would be very difficult. This is why your reply sticks to the premise that all players have an equal chance at winning instead of arguing that the cards are shuffled and dealt to each player completely random. All of the poker apps out there use this algorithm, so it’s not like I’m singling you out. Your total experience is much better than any I’ve played, and that’s why I continue to play it. Again, thanks for the reply.
Update again weeks later...
So you’ll notice that every time you get a decent two pair, most of the time someone else will beat you with a flush or a straight! 3 of a kind? Yeah someone has a full house! How about getting that final card for a straight, but it’s after you’ve folded! How many 3 of a kinds do you see when you’ve folded?!? If you get dealt an ace, you can pretty much bet two or three others did too! Got a straight? Don’t worry, a flush will beat you! Now if any of you ever play poker in real life, you know straights and flushes are not plentiful! I’ve gotten to where I see it every time on this app! When the flop happens, the second and third card will be the same suit, then on the turn it will match! Three in a row every time! Better fold unless you have two of the same suit, because most of the time another does! This just doesn’t happen in real poker! You get a great hand every once in a while, and winning off of pairs and high cards happen a lot! Getting 3 of a kind in poker is huge! I can count on two hands how many times I’ve gotten flushes in the last number of years. Well at least in recent memory! My problem is just how often straits and flushes ruin what would be a normally decent hand that would win in real poker! Getting two pair in poker I’d usually a win! Not on WSOP! They do it because people get bored too quickly, and they think if they make the massive hands rotate randomly, they’ll keep the players happy by playing on their narcissistic tendencies! I truly wish I could play REAL poker where you rarely see straights and flushes, and if you do get a straight, someone doesn’t magically destroy your extremely good hand with a full house! They do it to make sure people are betting big! Of course if someone has a straight they’re going to bet it all! Just like the guy with the flush is to take him down! Of course the guy with two pair bet big also! It’s not poker, it’s structured winning to keep the money going out, while assuring you win enough to stroke your ego!

WSOP Poker Addictive!

I decided to revise my review- please bear with me, lol

•••••First off, this game probably should come with a warning label that it is highly addictive and will cause a variety of reactions lol - both good and bad! Haha!

•••••• I actually have a lot to say about this wonderful, well maintained authentic poker game, so grab yourself a cup of coffee and a cookie and settle in for some reading!

••••••• Congratulations are definitely in order to the developers for always working long and hard to consistently improve the game and to provide a seamless experience for loyal players- and for taking the time to reward them for their loyalty. Please do not be discouraged by the negative reviews, there is not a single gaming app out there that doesn’t have unhappy players who feel that they have been wronged somehow or have paranoia of a scam or rigged system happening.

•••••• Let’s get some what I perceive to be considered downside to the game out of the way. One of them, which I feel honestly was intended to be a good thing has yielded undesirable results for players. There is a club rank system in place, that is designed to provide you with perks such as increasing the multiplier for free chips, granting higher eligibility for higher stakes table. That is a wonderful idea - but at the time of this review- it caused me to dock you a star - because it forces the player to advance the more they play without the option of “downshifting” to a lower rank voluntarily. Right now I am ranked at A-VI that has forced me to not want to play for several days because it forces the events and tables to go too high in stakes and eligibility which as a result would wipe me out if I played. Other players have disliked this feature and honestly turns them off - which in the long run costs you valuable players and income. I suggest implementing players to choose a specific rank they wish to play at, even when they have earned enough to be at a higher rank if they wished to without losing eligibility- while still leaving the whole going backwards if you do not play consistently in place. They would forfeit the higher ranking bonuses respectively. The current bug I seem to be dealing with is that every now and then I am forced to leave a fun table because the game glitches on either giving you the option to auto refill or doesn’t register that you have the button turned on.

•••••• Moving on to the good parts of the game, I think it is absolutely fantastic that you get to meet players from across the globe and forge new friends as a result. I like how you get good cards and bad cards- it makes it more authentic - but perhaps occasionally have the app readjusted for percentage by watching real time WSOP players on TV and take notes on how to better the randomness of the cards if that makes sense. The in game events keeps the game from becoming “stale” and adds flavor. The specials for loyal players is a plus. It is also fun trying to complete missions of all sorts. The Poker Recall cards are so cool- I do have a small suggestion to tweak that by providing players with the guarantee that they will get a pair or higher if they spend the money on a recall/redo- at least every now and then. It will encourage people to pay lol. The free chips every few hours and the option of sending/receiving chips to friends is helpful too. The Daily Blitz and Mega spin are just another thing to sing praises about The personalization of adding little sprites like a drink, an animal, etc to the profile are very cute. I also appreciate there being goals to work towards such as the rings and bracelets- along with player stats being there at your fingertips. The chat and turbo feature are great and handy! Maybe it could be personalized by allowing players to edit their turbo chat words in the settings (of course (rejecting naughty words like in normal chat)? That would be so epic! Gaining momentum points for staying longer at a table is also super nice. The avatar and being able to edit name is another plus in already long list of incentives. I also appreciate that if you are logged on with your FB account that it is not revealed for privacy reasons- even when sending chips to friends- too many things can go wrong with that. Speaking of which, thank you for providing the ban button! Mega kudos to making such a beautifully designed, easy to use, eye appealing, extremely well maintained game! Lastly but not the least- Thank you for not depending on FB to save game data, by including email log in option!

••••• As we come to a close of my review, the only other things I can think of for suggestions besides the club adjustment, turbo chat editing, poker recall incentive, randomized card adjustment, would be providing a monthly membership with perks, rank lock in, permanent select event lock in which also gives players the option of uploading a picture from their own gallery for further personalization.

••••• In all, thank you for providing us with a great game playing experience!

WSOP Poker Unrealistic and definitely not random

First off I would like to share my poker playing experiences to get a better understanding of my perspective. I have been playing poker for 20+ years and have played millions of hands via casino, poker rooms, home games, and online. I have lived in Las Vegas and played daily with friends who played for a living, many times playing 12,15, and 24 hours sessions. I have played online with real money during the early days of Pokerstars, FullTilt, and Absolute Poker. I played in and cashed in an 1500 player field in a WSOP employee event in Vegas in 2007 playing 12 hours the first day. I am giving this background so that it can give an understanding that I am a pretty decent poker player that has seen millions of hands and every possible situation with the probability, frequency and consistency of which they occur. In addition I was a CIS major in college and have knowledge in programming languages, so I am familiar with how programming works. With all that being said here is my review of this app.

I downloaded this app with hopes of being able to play poker since I am no longer can play as frequently due to not living close to a casino any longer and the fact that real online poker is not available to those outside of Las Vegas where I no longer reside. I had hoped that this would allow me to play and give me enjoyment that I get from poker.

First off I would like to say that I do enjoy the format and the gameplay of the app minus the repetitive ads that constantly pop up; however, no need to try and shove it down people’s throats to buy chips. We know where they can be found if we want them. Sure it’s fine to show a promotion when available but not every single time you go to the lobby.

Now to the programming. When I first started I ran up my chips to over 1 billion in the 1st couple days. I took it as me playing solid and running well in addition to getting all the bonuses one receives by winning hands and getting free spins and all the extra stuff they offer. Then slowly but surely my chips started to dwindle. I took it as running bad and hitting a cooler. Suddenly I was out of chips and tried to bring my way back up. This time around I found it a little more challenging and could never get consistency in increasing my bankroll. One day I decided to make a small investment and break the piggy bank for a few dollars. I now had 100m in chips. Next thing you know I lost them all just as quickly as I bought them. I hit quite a few bad beats and coolers and thought it couldn’t last so I tried to build up my stack again. I did not purchase anymore chips and brought my stack up to 2 billion. Then within a few hours lost them all due to the unusual frequency and probability of hands occurring. I tried every single method of play with each reoccurring hand only to have the same exact result and losing the hand. I then realized there is no way this is random program and started to be more observant and take notes on what was happening. Whenever I had a mid pair like 99-JJ I tried limping in, 3 betting and going all in. Each time same thing happened. On the flop would either come an over card or a straight or flush draw if I had a set. Either I would fold or go to the river only to get beat by a two outer. Someone would call with no pair no draw but miraculously get there on the river. Then I would have hands wher I would have top pair and open ended straight draw and a flush draw having half the deck to improve my hand only to brick out to someone with an ace when the other 2 callers also had an ace. So then when I would have AK, AA, KK vs some middle pair of course I would lose. An A or K would never come when I was up against any pairs but would always come up if I was the one with the pair and I would get rivered by trips, a straight or a flush. I understand getting coolers every now and then but not every time in the fashion they happen. It’s not realistic. Their algorithm is programmed a certain way to have those outcomes. I know the language of programming.

What I came to the conclusion is this app and probably most like it prey on people who just want to have fun and play free poker by allowing the user to experience joy and excitement with the thrill of winning which release sera to in in the brain. Then when the user is engulfed with that emotion all the sudden all the chips are gone and the user is looking for that “high” and wanting to keep playing. So they then purchase chips just to go thru the cycle again. Yes I understand gambling is just that gambling, but don’t push people to buy chips AND have the game rigged so that you force people into it by ramping up their serotonin levels by having a program that isn’t random but manipulated to give wins and then take them all back so that they purchase chips trying to get back that feeling. It’s very frustrating and not good for people’s mental health not to mention their bank accounts. Why should people pay to feel that way when they can just use that money to play for real at a casino that allows them to actually win somethinng.

Let’s be honest and say this isn’t random or realistic. Please don’t insult my intelligence and give my the company line and status quo of posting a link of some generic random programming jargon. I know better than that. Anything written in code is written in the desired outcome of the programmer and me being an experienced poker player knows better than what happens on here is not normal and highly improbable during the course of a poker session.

WSOP Poker World series wsop poker. Texas hold em poker

I all went to the help part when was online and that made it worse some of the people I was playing seem to know already what was being dealt I thought I might be going crazy but it kept happening and twice a person I was sitting next wrote what I had in my hand. When I told them online they said a pit boss is sa post to get a hold of me and now when I go to a table they show up like sibro mafia or something at least they stopped talking to each. And it's not just me. I move them selfs in to positions they blink off and come up in a different spot but when you first take your place they are sitting and talking together if I was a pit boss or security you would see right off and then I tried to say something and they are all over me. And if you can't help please let me know who can. Thank you. Jack Ward

WSOP Poker Make the purchases right or a refund.

I made 2 purchases on 3/1/2024 and never got the items offered in the purchases. I have made REPEATED attempts to get these issues resolved and can NOT get a response from WSOP support. Either give me what I paid for or give me my money back. This is just BAD busness and I am about to seek legal help. I have attached the screenshots they requested and can NOT get any of the issues resolved. This has been going on since 3/2/2024. My player ID is 3db1e68e-224a-4b13-9d65-b9f3956f2c01.

WSOP Poker WSOP Free app is rigged!!

I started playing this game years ago and stopped due to always getting beat by flushes or full house's on the river. Recently I came back to the game thinking it changed. It hasn't. Now it is designed to just take all your chips to get you to spend money on fake chips. I love to play cards so I did just that. However every time I bought chips, I got delt great hands, only to lose on the river by full house's or even 4 of a kind by the dealer. And when I did have to unbeatable hands...The dealer did not qualify and thus didn't have to pay out. This has happened too much to be a coincidence. I am convinced that there is something written in the code that is just to get as many people to lose as possible instead of having it completely random. I am once again done with this game... It only took me 200.00 to realize once again that the WSOP free app is not free and never will be.

WSOP Poker lost or stolen chips

This is the 2nd time wsop has taken my play chips. This time I was called gascap and now all my chips under this name are gone. I was given a new name and 796 million chips. I request that I get my gascap name back and almost 3 billion chips and mahogany 3. I was playing on a table and won what I thought was a large amount of chips. this was on 8/13/2023. All of a sudden my chips and gascap name were gone. I cannot recall the first time this happened but I was close to 5 billion chips. I am very disappointed and this makes me very recusant to play for real monies. Thank you. William Rittenhouse. [protected]@gmail.com

Desired outcome: Please give me back my gascap name and almost 3 billion chips and almost a mahogany 3 designation.

WSOP Poker A product I bought yesterday and only receive part of what was promised. I also got snapshots to prove my argument.

Around 7:30 - 8:30 pm I made a purchase on WSOP site . It cost me $29.99.

For this I was to receive 2.8 billion chips plus pick a pair that you need for your album . I chose the one to the left of the picture they showed ( I will send the snapshot ) . After putting all my info in and choosing , it paid me the 2.8 billion chips , it also game me the limited card I was missing , it FAILED to give me the chip I was missing . You can plainly see in the picture that both are supposed to be included .

Desired outcome: I want the 1.3 billion chips plus due me for competing the album after I get the chip they were supposed to give me . If that’s not possible I want my money back , they can take the chips back . It’s simple !

WSOP Poker Unrealistic odds, annoying marketing and game distorting incentives

WSOP game has rigged cards based on odds that I try to track for most significant hands, like big bets, winning price or tournament. I'll explain why shortly. I have accumulated $3B bankroll over close to 20K hands played without ever paying a dime but that's not how WSOP makes money. As many other poker game online WSOP makes money when players buy chips. The more players the better. So how this is maximized in WSOP game?

First, by introducing various incentives for players to make dumb plays against probabilities, like betting as much as possible to get point towards progressive cash prices, which generates a many large bets and visits to WSOP chips store, distorting the game in the process. Also, I noticed that closer I get to incentives, like 9th out of 10th wins needed to get $180M ring, the more difficult is becomes to get final win with odds getting more weird.

Second, skillful and obnoxious marketing like pop-up to buy chips with close buttons constantly changing location on the screen to generate user mistake and wheels-of-fortune for tournament price which promise up to $50B with $20M buy-in for winners, but in reality the most I've made over 2K+ tournaments was 5x buy-in with average 2.5x buy-in. You would expect spin-wheel with 14-16 segments having several rewards greater than 5x buy-in price to hit once in a while in 2K+ tournament. No!

Third, to appeal to players of many styles, I noticed very subtle daily themes like odds favoring flushes, river beats, other beats for better pre-flop hands, all-in players, and also more odds balanced games once or twice a week. If only game with balance odds was offered then many average or less skilled players would be discouraged after too frequent visits to WSOP chips store.

In all I rate WSOP very low for quality of the game but top-notch for innovation in maximizing their profits and skillful marketing. Believe it or not, I only get pop-up to review WSOP when I have insane wins. Clever, huh!

WSOP Poker Once you make a purchase, you're screwed

The concept of the game if good, you learn a lot and it gets exciting at times, of course there's always that one jerk that goes all in on a dumb hand, just cause they can afford it.

HOWEVER, for some magical reason after you make a purchase, your bank roll starts to slowly get smaller and smaller, then you don't play for a few days or a week and when you come back you start winning big, BUT only to start losing big as well.

It seems like if they keep track of who's willing to buy, and who's just there to play for free, and once they find their sucker all they have to do is slowly wear them down until they are out of chips and then bombard them with "specials".

OHHHH, and be careful with the "MOMENTUM EFFECT" I mean, sure it gives you XP points and you get to level up faster and get your bracelet,
But it seems like all them want you to do is "stay at the same table for a long time" (I WONDER WHY?) I guess is harder to keep track of your betting habits or setting you up for a perfect loss when you keep jumping from table to table.

Yeah I said that right "setting you up" I had pocket jacks and on the flop I got another Jack on the flop so I had a winning hand right?

Well this pot went from $5mill to about $120mill really fast, then on the turn I get another JacK, giving me "four of a kind" of course I go all in ($443 mill) I instantly get called by this mysterious person who has been beating me and others all night, then the pot is just under $1bill then guess what! My FOUR of a kind gets demolished by a "magical Straight flush" that was put together with the river! And this is just one out of many "magical hands" that beat me on large pots.

All in all I recommend the game, just to stay alert and keep you active, however avoid purchases cause once you spent they'll keep wanting you to spend more (by making you lose your bank roll frequently) and avoid the "momentum effect" they just want you to stay at the same table for long periods of time..

WSOP Poker This site is such a setup

3rd Edit: This is still such a rigged game. It rewards people who purchase chips, and punishes the people who don’t. Plain and simple. Nothing has changed, no matter what they say.
Beginners will win, then eventually you won’t be able to win a hand. It’s a black hole of set ups and traps to get you to purchase. If you’re not competitive or here to improve your game, then you can possibly get some entertainment through the bantering and bickering. I’ve updated it to 1 star in the review because 0 is not an option. I win a lot of money in live games. I’ve been playing this game for 3 years, and am getting absolutely sick of it. It’s not realistic at all.

2nd Edit: They have provided a lot more ways to get free chips, so you get a new chance to build your stack each day. This app still favors chip buyers, so just be prepared to have a spell where you can’t win a single hand, no matter what.

The title says it all. Win a little, lose a lot, no matter how great of a player you are. Bots are as rampant as bad beats, which are plentiful. It’s all a ploy to get you to buy chips. The number of ads and “offers” is overwhelming...every...time...you...change tables or log in. While the aesthetics of the game are eye pleasing, it doesn’t reach much beyond that. If you download the app, expect to reach into your pocket to keep playing. My advice: If you’re a serious poker player, this isn’t a good site. If you’re just looking to kill some time and don’t care if you win or lose, then welcome to the circus...but BEWARE!
***1st Edit***
This game is rigged, plain and simple. Not random at all. Count on it to freeze your screen when you have a good hand, when it’s bonus time on the wheel or slot, and for tech support not answer you when you don’t get paid for your daily missions that you qualified for.
I will say, the last month or so, there’s extra ways to get free chips, but again, it reeks with being a rigged game and will reward donk players with your chips.

WSOP Poker It’s fun, but it’s PROBABLY rigged. But it’s play money, so whatever

I understand poker is a very high variance game. Do I think that it’s possible I’m just on a downswing? Absolutely, but there’s definitely something to be said about the multiple reports about how people just get bad beats where they can’t be dealt even a pocket pair, or are beaten out by hands that are JUST BARELY better. And it seems to be a very cyclic thing; first you do REALLY good and it’s like you’re unbeatable. Then out of nowhere you go through terrible bad beats where you can’t win a single hand. This has happened to me, and through my research in reviews and Reddit posts, seems like this is more a prevalent problem than just a couple of bad beats. HOWEVER... this is a play money game that gets most of its revenue off of people paying for the play money chips. It’s completely possible (and in all honestly more app devs do this than they admit) that they have a background algorithm that can be influenced by if you don’t spend a dime all the way to if you’re a compulsive spender. And, from what I’ve been seeing online and in the App Store, the only people really complaining about this are the people that don’t spend any money, and the people that are spending an outrageous amount of money on this game. AND, even if they have whatever certifications of being “random” ir whatever, it really just means whatever build they sent to that company is actually random— NOT necessarily the consumer build that you are playing. It’s a legal loophole that mobile and AAA devs have been using for things like loot boxes since for ever now. Don’t be fooled by that statement, EA has been caught doing this exact thing. However, Is this really a problem though? Ehh. I haven’t lost any money playing this game, and it’s not like I can’t grind out my bankroll again even if I lose a ton of it to bad beats. But for the people who are not resistant to the THOUSANDS of ads being thrown at your face every time you open this app, they’re ones really being ripped off. But hey, what do I know?

WSOP Poker Tables seem to favor two or three players

I broke my piggy bank for the third time now and out of this 51,000,000 I didn’t leave one table ahead in fact hands I would’ve of won any other time I lost on the river card more Times than I can count. I watch each table I play on and it seems there is alway two no more than three players that are dealt the winning hand almost every time. I’ve been on the winning end of this and would bet on absolutely not a hand to bet and would beat the other players almost every single time regardless of the cards I was dealt. You may say cards are dealt randomly but the game favors people regardless of what you think. Get you a few million and go play a couple tables it’s always the same every table you go to two to three people win it all no matter what your hand is I’ve been beat full house to opposite full house and that’s happened more than the odds allow for I never see so many draws. It may seem random but it’s definitely not. I play other poker apps and some days I’m hot and others not so but I’ve never had to buy chips on any of those sites I always have millions I’m not a stupid player I play the odds and your odds just don’t add up. Like I said I ve bought my piggie bank three times for over 120,000,000 in chips total and I never come out ahead on your tables always leave loosing and I play several tables and over three days lost everything including your free chips which aren’t enough to get you any rewards or move you out to a table where you can earn any either. Couldn’t say how many times I’ve spine the mega shell and always lands around the same amount every time also I’ve only one spot that more than 700,000 in chips once I hit over a million. I can’t say your cheating the players because I see players with 100’s of millions in chips but did they win them or buy them I played one table and lost every single hand and went through about 30million in chips just to see if I was right and the same player beat me head to head every time no matter what kind of hand I had he always had one better

WSOP Poker Horrible

Play this at your own risk! As an experiment I had my gf load the game onto her IPad. She barely knows how to play poker! When she started, she won everything she touched! She breezed theough J, Q and K until she got to K3.Then she was barely able to win anything, and like me, every time she tries to play she runs into people betting 20 or 50 times the minimum bet. 9 times out of 10 you don’t get to see the flop! The publicly traded corporation that owns WSOP doesn’t care if people like the game or not! They are only concerned with people buying chips and spending money! I’ve made SEVERAL inquiries to their support for problems I’ve had with their software, and not once have they made an effort to solve them. Their attitude is if you don’t like it, TOO BAD! ***BEWARE*** I have seen many instances where one or more positions are able to see the last card before the rest of the table! Often, one person will congratulate the other for a “nice hand “ before the last card is revealed! I have had many problems with this game: Some of my bets don’t get credited, bets have been taken out of my stack that I didn’t make, and now I’m not getting prizes I earned! I contacted Support on every one of these issues. Not only does Support not understand how their own game works, but they’ve done nothing to correct the problems! This game is rigged, crooked and completely unfair. Their computers dictate which position at the table will win the hand. The same people win hand after hand with the worst hands imaginable. They have a lot of nerve calling this poker, it’s more like high guts. They have prizes you can win that are completely unattainable. You would have to win 1 billion chips a day to get close, good luck when you only win one hand per hour. You won’t win anything unless you are spending REAL MONEY to buy what they are selling. You are forced to play at tables with other positions (not sure if they are real people or not)who have 15X or more chips. It’s so much fun being bullied by them. I only win one hand per hour!

WSOP Poker What r u going to do

While I enjoy the seasons the missions r ridiculous Earn $800mil in chips to move up or get weak gifts It’s worse than a carnival My bank was over $2bil it now stands and $450 because in order to move up I had to lose $1.6bil that is not fair and equitable and y is it whenever I’m up big does the game glitch and send me back to the lobby Is it a flaw or done purposely? I won’t even know if this has been read Customer Service is spotty I took your survey but than it said it was cold and I got no chips I Just spent $14..99 cause I was running low losing over $2bil This is it The prizes for completing missions are not worth betting everything to get 3 cards I give u another 1 star Winning chips by losing more chips is getting boring Getting the same cards in albums over and over is boring I had $14bil in chips I now have under $6bil in less than a week because of the stupid win $1bil to move up costing much more to win I haven’t gotten a new card or token in weeks Been playing WSOP for a couple of years and it’s starting to frustrate me with ur algorithm I am not changing my review Over the past 10 days I have lost over $12bil in chips trying to complete challenges.U have challenges to win points but I don’t see where it ever tells u how many chips = 75000 points Ur challenges to bet or win a billion points is unreasonable and unrealistic I earned my chips by completing challenges and making purchases If I lose a hand in poker that’s the game but not getting cards to compete is ridiculous I get K 2 or 2 3 or especially 7 4 and 9 2 on a regular basis As for seasons I have not gotten any new cards only duplicates in a couple of weeks and to win u have to collect 480 cards and don’t get much for it I have completed seasons where the rewards boosted my chips which is y I play but now if I get to the end with my current chip count I’m still losing big so don’t have these billion point thresholds I could bet $50mil on a slot and “win” $2mil but I’m actually losing $48mil I have refrained from making bigger purchases for these reasons

WSOP Poker Not legit

Don’t think for a minute that this app is 100% legit. Many reviewers have complained about manipulated hands. I’ve have seen this over and over. There is no way a person could go through half a billion chips in 3 days and never win a tournament or so much as a few hands if this app was fair and for real. Everything about WSOP is geared to make you spend your chips to reach some new goal or level that usually doesn’t reward you appropriately for the chips you blow: A ring. A bracelet. A little blue number next to your name that increases as you gain “experience” (in reality it increases as you bet higher. Not the amount of hands you play. Another scam.) Or a little “club” emblem next to your name (Jack, Queen, King, Ace, etc). To maintain this level you have limited time to win money every day or so or your stupid little club level falls back. People that get caught up in this nonsense end up blowing all their chips to maintain their level. New players ALWAYS get dealt magical river cards that just happen to be the card they need to beat you. I’ve played 20 and 30 hands in a row and never seen so much as a pair. Then when I fold, low and behold, the flop is full of cards that I just threw away. What a coincidence. Bottom line: everything about this game is driven to try to get you to buy chips. They have a dozen little ways to take your chips from you. If you happen to actually get good at winning, they increase the amount of the buy-in’s for the tournaments so high that you can’t play them anyway: Example, some of the current tournaments would cost me a BILLION chips just to enter. A billion! A player at a lower level could play the same tournament for 5 million. Also, if you play, I recommend turning off the “chat” feature. Your always going to be at a table that has that one abusive D-bag that lives to prove to the world what a raging idiot he is. One thing about poker is that the loser always thinks he was a better player than the winner. Then the name calling starts. “Donkey”! “Idiot”! “[censored]”! All because you beat him! Amazing. All I can say is, Good luck !

WSOP Poker Absolutely Disgusting

This game would be one of the most relaxing and fun games in the App Store. If it wasn’t blatantly rigged and filled with bots and (from reading online possible WSOP employees) who’s sole job is to make you lose chips, so you pay real money to get more. The pre flop betting makes no sense, people don’t pre flop bet that frequently. You get no chips from that. Also, the frequency of high matches is completely unrealistic. You’ll also find yourself winning a lot, then losing EVERYTHING even after playing great. Why? Because 1) you either have a great hand and lose by one of the opponents having the same hand and one card higher (which is implausible for the amount of times that happens), or, because you fold while having awful cards (say a 3 of clubs and 7 of spades) then.. the flop and subsequent cards would’ve made you had a flush. This happens FREQUENTLY. It’s not only unrealistic, but very suspicious, and most likely rigged in some way. There are also “people” (really bots) with BILLIONS of coins in lobbies where buy in is less then 10M. Not only should that not be allowed because they can just bet pretty much an unlimited amount, but also very sketchy because when playing against them, everything seems off. All the time. And their stats don’t match up with their chip count. Read online about it being rigged. It’s all out there. Funny thing is, I’m still going to play, because i find it funny they constantly push all of their ads on the app, which i won’t pay a single dime for. Can’t believe it hasn’t been legally looked into. (BTW.. won $30M of chips in ~2 days, lost all of that today. Bad player? Nope. Didn’t play bad at all. Got beat multiple times having FLUSHES, FULL HOUSE, STRAIGHTS.. etc just to lose by a high card…. Meaning someone else also had same hand and ONE card higher which is ridiculous. And, multiple times folded where one normally would, just to see the flop+ turn into a would be flush or straight.. or FOUR OF A KIND. Yes, i kid you not i folded because of a terrible hand, but of course three sevens show up on the table. Think about how ridiculous that would be for all of that to happen, frequently.)

WSOP Poker Awful update

AwEver since the latest update I keep getting thrown off your games. Will be playing and when I click to raise, fold or just check, nothing happens and the screen goes to the lobby, and then goes back to the game and that hand is over and several times I have been trying to raise and lose my money. It's driving me crazy . Please fix. Usually enjoy playing, not so much now. Don't recommend your game and won't until you fix this.

Too many flushes dealt on Omaha. I'm a former casino dealer and there was never a time when so many flushes appeared in the games I dealt. Makes it frustrating to play. Secondly too many "all-in" players on all your games. If one just wants to play regular poker I go to a regular poker app.

Same complaint. Too many flushes in your Omaha game. I don't know how you deal this game but fewer flushes would be helpful. More flushes than straights. By the way you say it's 9% chance to fill an inside straight. I think it's a lot less in my experience. What are the odds on filling an outside straight? How come it's never mentioned.

I play your poker games on two different devices which I assume you already know. I have earned $129,143,853 credits on the longer played device. On the lesser played device I have earned $16,244,046 credits. However I have earned 7 bracelet chips on each device. How could this be? I think I deserve an explanation even tho you usually never respond to complaints. Would appreciate it!

Your latest update has a few problems. #1. Often when I arrive at a table I am given cards but my hand is folded. #2. It's hard to see what the winner 's hand is since you take a lot of time to show what he won with. The former way was immediate notification. Go back to that. Please fix.

Another problem with your latest update is that I am consistently getting a notice to check my wifi. I can play your hold'em tables but when I try to transfer to Omaha tables is when I get wifi nonsense. FYI every other app on my iPad is working just fine with my wifi along with my tv, my phone and other iPads I own. I also don't like the new look. It's all blurry and moves too slowly.

WSOP Poker It Likes Me, It Likes Me Not

This app can be a fun one to play, when the algorithms are in your favor. There can be days where the computer/app just hates me, and someone will ALWAYS win with a hand SLIGHTLY better than mine. I know how to play Hold ‘Em. And I am NOT as bad as this app would like me to believe I am. I don’t spend money in this app for chips. And just like any other app where spending money will help but you ahead of anyone else, if you don’t spend money, the app doesn’t favor you as often. Maybe that’s just the way the algorithms line up on any particular day. All I know is the computer/app will have me lose with pocket aces to someone who plays 2/7 off suite.
The bonus wheel even has its days where it will “let” you win a nice number in chips, but most days you get the smallest number on the wheel.
The slot machine can be a fun way to kill time when you’re waiting for the next hand... AGAIN, if the computer/app wants to like you that particular day.
But as far as the main game goes, this app has very little to do with the skill of the game, and EVERYTHING to do with whether the computer/app and the algorithms like you on any particular day.
“Momentum Boosts” are a joke. I have NEVER felt like the “Momentum Boost” helps out. I do MUCH better when I DON’T have the “boost” than when I do have it.
If you’re wondering if it’s a good app to download... it’s still a fun way to kill time. I really do like the game Texas Hold’em, and as much as I get frustrated with this app, I still have it on my phone, and have for about 2 years. I won’t put real money into a game that doesn’t pay out in real money, or even let me win because of skill. However, it’s still a fun way to kill time, should the computer/app actually be in my favor on any particular day.
Just don’t expect to win, even when you have an Ace-high flush, because if the app doesn’t like you that day, most likely someone will have a Full House. Don’t be down on yourself though, you probably have better skill than you think, this app just wants to get you to spend real money on it.
I never will though... ESPECIALLY because of how I feel the game works in its way to make you believe you’ll win, but then lose.
