Buyer Beware - Windows Nation is a con of a business they should be disgusted with themselves
Buyer Beware - Windows Nation is a con of a business they should be disgusted with themselves. The buy one get one free deal is a complete scam. The sales person made it seem like if we didn't sign that day, we would lose our "deal". No deal here, wish I had done more research. We paid $18k for 16 windows. After doing further research, we should have only paid half of that, if the buy one get one free offer is true. Windows Nation is deceitful in their sales technique. I dislike the feeling of wheel and deal for windows like a car dealership and that's exactly what the process we experienced is. I don't want to go back and forth on a "number", WN should be honest and provide upfront costs if they truly stand behind their product. I feel completely mislead; I don't blame the salesperson, he was polite and did his "presentation" but feel completely rip-offed on the cost. Windows Nation needs to be clear about pricing and allow people the time to digest their investment. Not make it a deal and sign the same day. Extremely disappointed on the car dealership feel on negotiating cost and will not be recommending WN based on that fact alone. Regarding financing, they sell your "contract" to a third party, which is not made clear during the presentation because they have you signing so many documents, it's a whirlwind. We were able to finance a portion through MassSave, but now the bank check is being disputed because per Mass Save, the bank needs to make it out to the owner and contractor, not the Finance Company, so another added frustration we now need to deal with. I will say the order came in on time and windows were installed per the time frame that was estimated. Note regarding the installation Team being "professional" is another mislead. White truck pulls up in yard with no decal or anything stating they are from Window Nation. Team was polite, but I would not describe them as "professionals". They had music blasting the entire install, could hear profanity while I was trying to work from home. I just let it be as I was already upset over the cost of the windows. One even left a jacket behind and we are still finding large pieces of wood (like 12"=) under baseboards, desks etc that was missed during final walk through/cleanup. I am happy with the windows, but feel swindled over the cost and am extremely disappointed that I allowed myself to be deceived by Windows Nation. I feel they misrepresented themselves and would not recommend to anyone.

WARNING: If you are looking for a window company in St
WARNING: If you are looking for a window company in St. Louis, look elsewhere! Ok, so here is the story of our experience with Window Nation from Sales to Customer Service to Installation. It all started with Sales, which the sales guy (Stephen B.) was inappropriate, vulgar, and threw out multiple sexist comments that made my wife feel uncomfortable. We had heard great stories from others about this consultation and wow, were we shocked. Despite this, they did give us a good deal, we liked their windows, and PROMISED they would have our windows installed in 8 weeks max. All of that sounded good so we moved forward and signed. Fast-forward 2 weeks and we finally get someone out to measure our windows. 3 weeks later, we received a call that they had to come back out because they had to confirm the windows were measured correctly... So we are 5 weeks into this disaster and we finally talk with a MGR (Jessica) who was nice and very solution-based. She was good but at the end of the day, had to escalate to their regional MGR who did give us a small discount BUT said that because St. Louis is a new hub, they are still ironing things out. Unfortunately at this point, they could only promise that our windows would be installed by September/October (15 Weeks after we signed the agreement). Installation - Fast forward to October and a crew of three guys finally comes out to the house and is ready to go. They complete 21 windows in 2 days and did an OK job. They were thorough in making sure the windows themselves were good to go but we had multiple items including damage to our sills, walls, and floors. (see images) Service and Ongoing - Now that we are 6 months into having the windows, we have ongoing issues and can't get anyone on the phone here locally. Are windows actually accumulated ICE on the inside when we had cold temps recently and caused sill damage in our basement. Also, the damage to all our sills is just incredible as there is now more of a draft in our house than with our old windows! I have now called 4 times and all I get with the St. Louis office is an answering machine. I called corporate and they even said they can't get ahold of anyone or they are at lunch, which is just ridiculous. My advice to you is use Window World or someone else. Just read this and run the other way as it has been a nightmare for us and if you are going to spend $17k+, give it to another company who is going to earn your business and treat you as a good customer.

So far our experience with Window Nation has been good. Clear communication on the arrival of the windows and the installation. We had a rip in one screen that was fixed within a few days of installation. The whole process has been really smooth.
The installers were on time, and very pleasant and professional. They installed my windows, put my blinds back up and thoroughly cleaned their work space. This is my second time using them, and I will be calling on them again . Very pleased from start to finish. That includes the young man who came out to write up my paperwork to the men who measured the windows. And the price was very reasonable. Thank you Window Nation!
I bought my windows from a Window Nation salesman, Jack K, in August 2022. He promised us screens that "self repaired", showed us how the windows tilted in for cleaning purposes, and discussed how Window Nation paid their installation crews over the pandemic even when there were not any orders. We were sold. Our windows arrived by October and were made and installed by ***, not Window Nation. The *** installation team left the windows covered with a black tar like material and so many hand prints that my husband cleaned them for two days using a credit card. Then the top piece of all the bottom windows were never finished properly in the factory (they were ripped and jagged), 3 "self repairing" screens were ripped, and a lock was missing from a window. What a mess! Not to mention our yard was covered with debris (pieces of the old windows, cording, insulation). I discussed my concerns with both companies because Window Nation would not get involved, will not return calls (no one is ever available to take a call, return a call) and will not answer questions. *** has been a much more helpful company to work with and actually answers my questions/concerns. My husband and I saved for years to get these windows and I wish I had my old 30 year old windows back. Window Nation will tell you they support teachers and the military (I am a teacher and my son is in the military) and I want to laugh. I have never felt so disrespected and I warn you not to use Window Nation. They are only the sales team and after the sale takes place they are worthless. Not once did the Window Nation salesperson tell us that they did not make the windows. Also, the "self repairing" screens are only for full screens which do not work if you want your windows to tilt in, so Jack lied to us. There commercials are complete garbage...talking about their windows...what windows?...they don't make any! My neighbor told me about Windows on Washington and I wish I went with them!
I had windows installed in September this year. I am having issues with one of the windows that I have brought to their attention. So I am hoping that will get fixed soon. I signed a contract 6 months no intrest and no payments. They go through Service Finance. They started billing me in Oct. I have spoken to several people at service finance. The lady I talked to today said that even though my contract says that, it doesn't mean no payments. I still have to make payments during that time. Which doesn't make any sense to me since it was no payments. The windows are nice, however, I do regret going through this company since I'm having so many issues with the contract and financing. I am having a hard time understanding why no payments and no intrest doesn't mean that. I do feel duped if I agreed to something and this company went behind me and did something completely different.
Like many others I reached out to start a discussion with replacement windows based on the buy one get one promotion
Like many others I reached out to start a discussion with replacement windows based on the buy one get one promotion. A sales rep came to my house and discussed with me everything, went through the demo and showed me what appeared to be high quality windows backed by great installation practices to keep out water and air. I declined the quote as the cost was insurmountable given other projects on-going at the time and was substantially higher than what other businesses had quoted me for windows. I was contacted further by more members of the sales team and given a lower quote but would not be eligible for the buy one get one promotion in order to obtain this deal. Given the extra incentives I was ok with this and agreed to replace 12 windows in my home. This agreement was in May. I was told that a tech would come out to measure and then in 4-6 weeks I would have my windows installed. Due to Covid I expected some delays. However what has been most frustrating to me was that I have had to routinely follow-up with the point of contact asking when I would be scheduled for installation. Window Nation never kept me in the loop, instead I had to pester repeatedly for information. Finally installation came around and was scheduled and Josh and his partner were very kind and respectful. There was a bit more damage to my home and to some plants outside than I expected or appreciated but Josh answered any of my questions and made a third trip back to my home to complete work. He went over all of my concerns with me in-depth. Unfortunately out of my 12 windows at least 10 have issues that need resolved through the service department. I am now a month out from installation and have not heard a peep from the service department with regards to addressing the issues with my windows straight from the factory. The issues are quite varied and include torn screens, damaged sills, seals between the panes being defective, coating on the windows being bubbled/peeling, etc. Again, my order was placed in May and we are now decently in to September and I still don't have fully installed windows with all issues resolved. I had held off on posting any review as I wanted it to be genuine and reflective of the entire process, but at this time I fear it will be many more months before I can call this project complete. I am overall quite disappointed with my experience thus far. I am disheartened to feel mislead by the quality of the workmanship for these windows and the value of customer service to those paying for these services. I hope that there is a resolution soon that will rectify these feelings.

The crew installing the windows where awesome. They were polite and cleaned everything when they were done. I would recommend window nation to everybody.
The whole experience was wonderful from beginning to end. Tia Thomas our sales lady was always there if needed thru out the process. The installation crew *** was outstanding the 8 plus hours they were here at our home. We would use Window Nation if we need window replacement in the future.
This Has Been The Best To My 86yr. Old Mom, The Men Has Went Over And Beyond The Call., On Yours Needs Window Nation You Are The Best. God Bless
The experience was very bad. The sales rep, Jon D said he would be with us every step of the way. Never saw or heard from the guy. The windows (which by the way are way too expensive). They advervise buy two get two free, not the case when we paid over $5,000 total for 4 windows. We fell for their advertisement, not only with getting two free but also with the financing. They said no interest until 2025. The sales rep, Jon D told us that we would not have to start paying until January 2023, making the last payment January 2025 - 2 years. So when the windows could be installed in November, we again specifically asked and said we definitely wanted payments to start January 2023. They assured us that was the case. So we got the windows installed in November. The bill came in and payment due December 2022 was the first payment. We called Window Nation (the sales rep, Jon D - by the way first time he ever reached back out) who said he spoke to someone and no one could help. He said the financial institution was the only one that could change it. This came from Bill Mitzelfelt, Sales Manager I believe. However, Synchrony told us Window Nation set it up. I would not trust them nor would I EVER refer this business. I think we fell for the sales rep who is your typical sales rep. We are thoroughly disappointed in the 4 basic windows that we rec'd. Please do not do business with them. I will be sending Complaintsboard.com a complaint about this business. There are many other businesses that install windows. Please go to them first.
I had the salesperson come in May
I had the salesperson come in May . At the time the promotion was 0 down, 0 payments, 0 interest for 24 months. The sales person also told me that if I reduce it to 18 months that we can save a little money and it would be the same terms 0, 0, 0. I wanted this promotion as I did not want a minimum monthly payment, instead use bonuses that I receive periodically at work. I was also told that I can us a credit card to make payments, both things were untrue. When I signed the contract, I again asked the sales rep if I had to make minimum payments through the 18 months. I asked this because one of the pages has a monthly payment laid out for 60 months. I was again told no minimum payments for the first 18 months. That was just on there in case I spread it out of 5 years. He also said that if I don't pay it off in time, I could use a credit card to pay it off at the end. He said I just open a 12-month interest free card and extend payments that way. Taking him at his word I signed the contract. Note, during this time I have a 9-month-old and a 2 year old running around the house while I was meeting with this guy. I figured by asking him the questions he would have been truthful but was not. I understand I signed this contact without reading the small print which is my fault BUT to be lied to by the sales rep repeatedly is very disappointing to say the least. The MAIN reason I went with window nation this was the fact of the 0 minimum payments. When it was time to let the loan go through in December '21 is when I found out that I was told incorrect information at the time of signature. I called the rep and he explained that I signed a contract with a minimum payment, even though when we met, I must have asked him at least 5 times if a min was required. He said he would see what he could do and call me back but never did. I still have not hear from him to this date. So, I put a complaint in to Window Nation as well as the lender to see if the loan could be re written. The loan company informed me today that Window Nation will not allow the loan to be were written. I don't have the monthly budget to pay this min payment and now it has completely thrown my household budget out of whack for the next 18 months. As I stated I understand I signed this contract but was verbally told the opposite of what was in it. I made it a very clear in our meeting that I needed 0 min monthly payments repeatedly, so did my wife. Its sad that people resort to lying to get you to sign something. All I would have had to be told is that the 0 minimum payment does not apply to the 18-month loan and I would have just done the 24-month loan with the 0 monthly payments instead. Again, I know I'm legally bound by this but just am frustrated that lied too by the sales rep.

I had 4 windows installed in November 2022. One bay window, 3 single windows. To start, I was given a date for installation (a 3-4 hour window) in which my husband took off work. The crew came, said "the weather was poor" and left. We did not hear back for 3 weeks for a new appointment date. The 3 single windows went in without a flaw. The bay window... Many issues. 1. They had to leave half way through to get "more tools" for 90 minutes. 2. They took off the old matching trim, replaced it with cheap trim (which now exposes the walls old paint color). 3. The updates were "we will be done soon" and 4 hours later, it was "finished" with the terrible mismatching cheap trim. 4. The credit line runs as a credit card. That used an alleged 61% of my credit card limit. I'm struggling for the holidays because my credit is "almost maxed out". This is not a credit card. This a home improvement loan or another term besides credit card. I am extremely unhappy with the bay window and will NEVER recommend this company to someone else.
Window Nation is great when they're selling you windows. Not so much when you call for repair of window they installed. Beware ! yes you have life time warranty but they will charge you for coming out. I will NOT be using this company for future windows.
Positive experience overall but had to cancel my contract within the 3 business days due to an issue with the city. I sent a courier to the office listed in the contract and as per the cancellation notice instructions, but the address was vacant when the courier arrived. It seemed shady until I saw the new address here. I had to pay the courier extra to check out the new address and deliver the cancellation notice. The business should update their contract and all their letterheads with the right address so that cancellation notices can be received appropriately and in time to ensure that there are no disputes or even the appearance of deceit.
BEWARE: This company is a disappointment. I give them no stars but this website make you put at least one. Their for product or services is nothing like what's advertised on the commercials. After 3 different visits to install and 8 months later the windows are still not right nor installed. Also, phone calls to management are not acknowledged or returned in timely manner.
Placed order for 16 windows in December
Placed order for 16 windows in December. Installation was started mid February. The install team did a good job, they were very professional and detail oriented. Window Nation though, forgot a window that was part of a three-piece bay window and a screen for a window on the front of the house. Four months later, after two last minute cancelled install appointments, the installers arrived to install and took one look at the window they received and realized it was the wrong window. So, still no window and no screen. Wouldn't be so annoyed if I hadn't talked to the regional manager the day before and she told me she would make sure the order was correct. I now have zero faith in Window Nations dedication to ensuring correct items are ordered and their quality control and quality assurance processes are grossly broken. I am sure if issues like this happen to just one person repeatedly, it must happen to a great deal more. I would recommend anyone looking to get new windows to do your homework and not base your decision entirely on price alone. What we paid for our order was less than 2% off from two other competitors. I am sure if I had asked they would have price matched, and I regret that decision, don't be like me. Hope this helps. Edit: Nobody has reached out to me today nor yesterday when I called the regional manager back to speak to her about this, still waiting. My wife did manage to get through to a very nice customer service agent that really could not push this issue forward and she is also waiting for a call back from the manager. Perhaps window nation should refund me the payments I have already made for the past 3 months and future payments until the installation is complete. Perhaps that would be incentive enough to make good on the promises they make in a timely manner. EDIT: It has now been yet another month since I posted this and... nothing has changed. My wife and I have gotten a lot of "I'm sorry we will fix this", "We will call you on xxxxx to discuss progress", emails from several people and... no follow up, it all has been up to us to initiate. This is not the expected behavior of a company or business that cares about their customer or about their work. BUT I am still paying for an incomplete order now for 5 months. If the windows were the quality they claim, I wouldn't be so mad but now we have windows that won't close completely so they also don't lock, windows that are badly aligned/crooked. I didn't say it outright before but I now must. DO NOT USE WINDOW NATION. The sales people will dazzle you, the installers are great, but the management and overall quality are UNACCEPTABLE. You will end up with a crap product, crap support, and a bill that is comparable to even big box stores that will at least stand by their advertised promises.

Buyer beware, company misrepresents the products they sell you paired with a high pressure sales pitch
Buyer beware, company misrepresents the products they sell you paired with a high pressure sales pitch. Unfortunately we went with the sale and regret it. They tout their high tech measuring and have you send pictures for their computer to measure. During the sales process the salesman went over our sliding door and said it would be the same size as our current door and would slide right in. We also got a new bay window which we specifically asked if the panes were able to open in for cleaning which we were told they do. At the end of the sale you are offered a "today only price" to pressure you into the sale. After the sale they send a team out to physically measure all of the windows and doors. When the installers came out they were short a window. When they installed the sliding door there was a 6" gap above the door and they needed to wedge 2x4s in to fill. When the bay window was installed we asked to see how they open in which we were then told they do not have that feature. On top of that the screen was missing and one side of the window wouldn't open which we were told would need the installers to return to repair. I called the office to discuss the issues and was told that they would resolve the issue and was told they would look into it and call me the next day. I was not able to get in touch with them for a number of days after that. When I did I was told they informed us the window was missing (no one told us this until the day of the install), that because the sliding door that was installed is what is on the contract they would not help with that despite being told we were buying the same door. The manager told me that "he can't expect his guys to know the difference between a standard 6' slider and a custom" despite the fact their high tech measuring program and the team they sent out to measure the door, which it came to light was not measured when they were out. He did say when the installers came out to install the missing window they would fix the trim around my slider. Eventually the installers got out and "repaired" my trim which I had to replace myself as it was not put up correctly. The bay window that wasn't working had pieces still in it that should have been removed prior to installation. The second install team were able to get them out. I was eventually kicked over to someone that handles customer care where they wound up offering me $300 back. I accepted it because of how overall unhelpful it was. Their manager repeatedly told me I was "harping" on things and that they informed us of certain things which we never were informed of or called about. I would avoid this company at all costs as they will employ high pressure sales tactics and flat out lie about what they are selling you. When you call to try to resolve it you get blamed for the issues and they lie about saying you were informed of things and will low ball you to shut you up.

Everything about our experience with Window Nation fell short of our expectations
Everything about our experience with Window Nation fell short of our expectations. We purchased two windows as part of our kitchen renovation in hopes that we would have a great experience and replace the rest of the windows in our home using Window Nation in the future. There were countless errors and missteps with many of the people we interacted with. First we worked with a sales person on the project. One of our windows was custom and larger than what we had before. We sent all of the drawings of the space and solidified our plans for installation which included all of the structural work. When we were finally able to lock in the contract, we had a person from the team come and measure everything at which time we reiterated that we would need all of the structural work completed since the window we were purchasing was larger. Again when we talked to a different person from WN to schedule our install, we reiterated the need for structural work and a specific team that was trained in this type of installation was assigned (this even pushed our install date out by one or two days to ensure we had the right people). On the day the team showed up they were not prepared to widen the window and were planning on going home. My husband had to drive to Home Depot to secure material for them to ensure that could complete the job. We could not afford them to leave and not finish the project as our entire kitchen renovation was centered around their completion. After then installed the window (somewhat reluctantly), they left without finishing the job... They didn't come to the project with screens for the window, trim to go around the window or the window sill. They stated they didn't know they needed this which I am still struggling to understand this miss. Of course you need screens... not to mention we were widening the window (which we had reiterated countless times) so we would obviously need new trim and a new sill. A month after the window was installed, the screens and the trim/sill were delivered. We told the team we didn't want them back in our house so they just dropped it off. The sill is an uncut and unfinished piece of wood. The trim is also uncut and unpainted and doesn't even match the trim in our house. The person who dropped off the material stated that they didn't know the size of the window so they didn't cut it... WE BOUGHT THE WINDOW FROM YOU! How does this even make any sense? It's so ridiculous... We are so over the entire experience and very disappointed. The second window that was installed is fine, but we were not aware that we were losing glass surface area when we purchased it. We asked for an exact replacement and what we got just fit into the pocket of the old window so we ended up losing 2-3" around the entire thing. This was not clearly detailed to us when we were working with the initial sales rep so that was a little disappointing too but nothing in comparison to the experience we had regarding the window expansion. Needless to say we do not plan on working with Window Nation again...

I had a representative from WindowNation out to my home on 03/20 to discuss options for replacement windows
I had a representative from WindowNation out to my home on 03/20 to discuss options for replacement windows. The presentation lasted about an hour and it was not a high pressure sells pitch. At the onset of his demonstration, I explained to him how I was a single father on a tight budget. I told him I probably would not be into a top-of-the-line window, but how I also did not want the cheapest window either. After he measured some of my windows he went out to get a window he claimed was a midrange window. As he explained some of the features of the window he mentioned the windows energy efficiency according to ***. He said that the baseline for energy according to them was 3.2 and how the window he was showing me was a 2.7. He also stated two separate times that installing his windows would add 70% equity to my home. Fast forward to the culmination of his presentation he worked up a price just shy of 20,000.00 dollars for 13 windows. He then dropped the price to 13,000.00 when I told him I had received a quote from *** for 10,000.00 He told me his window was better and he did not think his boss would match the price, because his product was better. After I spoke with the boss they were able to get me the windows for 8300.00. At first, I was beyond thrilled at the deal I thought I had got. After the representative left my home I started to go over in my mind all the details of my purchase. Some of the claims that were made led me to begin to doubt the accuracy of the information I was given. First, the window rating according to the national fenestration foundation. I was unable to verify any such measurement criteria existed on the rating councils website. Second, the claim he made about the amount of equity that would be added to my property by installing his windows. According to WindowNations website it can increase the value of one's home by 11%. Because of the miss information I was given I wanted to view the windows I had purchased. Once I was able find a brochure online with their product offerings I found my window at the very bottom. Much to my surprise I had not purchased the middle of the road window I was sold their bargain basement window. Although it was explicitly represented by the salesperson as the middle of the road window. I then realized I had been taken by the classic bait and switch. I quickly emailed my intent to cancel my contract which was responded to promptly (which I appreciated). The sales rep called and asked why I elected to cancel, and he reasserted that the widow he sold me was not the bottom window. I explained that according to his company's product brochure the information he was trying to convince me of was not accurate. At that point he decided not to persist once he was aware of the source of my information. I wised him a good day and got off the phone. I'm upset that I had to deal with this whole ordeal. It was a frustrating waist of my time. I hope my experience helps someone else to be sure to double check the information given by salespeople working for WindowNation. I personally would not recommend doing business with them. In my opinion if a company's sales goals are put before being honest it never ends good.
BUYER BEWARE!
BUYER BEWARE! Horrible Customer Service, Multiple Breaches of Contract
I would give this company zero stars if I could. We signed a contract at the end of November. We have a project that was supposed to be completed in mid-February - a month before the COVID closure. We are still waiting.
We went with WN because they were able to handle the full job: windows, roof, and siding. Windows went in fine, no complaints. Roof was done shoddily by a subcontractor, even when WN told us they did not sub out. We were picking nails and trash out of our yard for weeks afterward. No siding has been completed. They decimated our gutters (assuming they would be replaced by WN after the siding was done) and left us for months without gutters or downspouts. WN is attempting to charge us for the gutters we have not received.
We requested siding with stone veneer. They said they could do that. We requested samples so we could pick colors. They took MONTHS to arrive, incomplete, with no markings or labels. Only when we received them did we realize the samples were NOT real stone! They are *** (molded vinyl) products. If we had not requested samples we would not have known until it was on the house. WE took the initiative to reach out to *** regarding the product information WN failed to provide us. They were very nice, but again, this was not the type of product we asked for or had originally been told we would get.
The lack of communication and the amount of time it has taken to finish this job is ridiculous. At this point, we've been partially finished through the closure and we have plywood that has now been exposed to the elements for months.
I certainly understand that the closure has shaken things up and caused delays, but again - our job was supposed to have been finished well before it began.
Aside from the "used car salesman", high-pressure sales tactics from Jeryl W (who had issues with other clients in the past and was eventually pulled from our account) at the get-go, we have been lied to repeatedly - about everything from errors in scheduling, to the products available, the work being sub-contracted out, prematurely charging us for unfinished jobs, and failure to communicate in a timely manner with information we needed in order to make decisions. Sales manager Cameron H told us that this is not the first time WN has bailed on a contract for failure to uphold their agreement.
UPDATE: WN called us - after 6 months under contract with the job still unfinished - to say that they sold us a product they do not carry (***...even after their service guy had talked to us about installing it on other jobs) and they would not be able to honor the price agreed upon for the products we selected. If we wanted them to proceed, it would be $15K more than our contract price. When we said this was unacceptable, they responded by bailing on the project with a letter saying they would mail us our refund. They are leaving us on the hook for the balance of jobs that are still not completed.
At this point, they are not responding to calls or emails.
We have never imagined that customer service from this company could be so poor. We will be filling complaints and leaving reviews wherever possible until the situation is resolved.

We went with Window Nation because of the famous buy 2 windows get 2 free commercial running in our area
We went with Window Nation because of the famous buy 2 windows get 2 free commercial running in our area. When we signed the contract that special wasn't offered as an option for us. We had 7 windows replaced on our house. The 2 men showed up to install as planned and it took 8 hours for complete install and clean up. When they left, we noticed one of the shutters were left to dangle off the front of our house and insulation was left in our yard. Then later that night, a small child was playing in our driveway and cut his foot on a piece of glass. Blood was everywhere. Come to find out there were tiny shards of glass all over our driveway. I called the next business day and complained about everything, mentioned above. I was asked to provide pictures of the shutter and I did. They did send somebody to repair the shutter and "clean up the debris" (which we had pretty much picked up already). Then a couple of weeks later, we were hanging our blinds up in the window we had replaced. In one room, we were able to install blinds just fine. In the other 2 rooms (5 windows) there is not a place for us to drill into to install the blinds. Weird to us. I don't know many homes without blinds on their windows, unless it's by choice to not hang them. While discovering this frustration, we notice 2 of our windows were missing caulk around them. We called immediately and complained about the above mentioned. Again I was told to provide pictures of the missing caulk and that there was nothing they could do about the lack of area available to properly hang blinds. I submitted the pictures and was told it would take 5-7 business days to get a person to call and schedule a repair person out. So we waited the full 7 business days and heard nothing. So I called them and was told somebody would be calling me that day. They did call (it was a Friday) and I explained we wouldn't be available until after 5 monday-Friday or would be available on the weekend. They told us they'd call us on the following Monday. No call on Monday. I called today and was told they were available tomorrow between the hour of 1 & 4 and I said nope and they said they would put us down for Saturday but wouldn't know a time until Friday sometime and would call this Friday. Totally unacceptable. I want to know how leaving glass behind, debris, a shutter hanging, windows not caulked and boundless windows, is good business etiquette. We paid WAY more money than planned and are very dissatisfied. We've never bought windows before, so I'm not sure if this normal across the board for window companies, but it doesn't feel right to us. We have 2 dogs and have small children. If the dogs would've swallowed some of the insulation and it caused harm to them or somebody sued us for glass related injuries, this would be a much larger problem for window nation than it already is. We have asked for some money back and feel like it's deserved. We work for the larger financial institution (in the mortgage industry specifically) in our state and wanted to be able to recommend Window Nation to people. But we will not be doing so but will be posting on the Complaintsboard.com website and Angie's List. Extremely dissatisfied and will never purchase from or recommend Window Nation. When I can get in touch with somebody, I am promised a call back within 48-72 hours and after those hours pass without a phone call back, I call again and get the exact same run-a-round. Horrible customer service, empty promises, misleading, and I could go on for days, but I have other things to do. If I could give a negative amount of stars, I would.
If I could give them zero stars I would
If I could give them zero stars I would. This entire ordeal with this company has been downright horrible. So much so that I may take them to court over the way I have been treated. We started our window replacement back in Augustus of 2020. October the windows came in and were to be installed. They came out things went pretty good, we were impressed over all. We had to reorder one window, and they ran out of caulking for a half moon window so we were told that we would have them both taken cere of once the window reorder came in. I was fine with that. Fast forward now to January. The hopper winder for our basement came in, they were scheduling to come out. They came out the first week of January . They got there and only had the little hopper window. I questioned what was going on as I still was missing my half moon that needed to be installed too. The gentleman didn't have any knowledge of such window in the order. He calls his manager at 9am. By 12pm we still had no reply from the manager. I called in and said we needed to know where this window was because it needed to be installed. Well, now they cannot find the window. I demand them to find the window and get it out here to my house. Magically 2 hours later they find my window and have 3-4 guys at my house. At this time it is now 2pm. Well supposedly it's to late to install this window since it will take them most of the day for the way this one is made. Ok, fine reschedule. They want to inconvenience me again, but this time around a surgery that my daughter was due to have. I told them no, they need to come out on my time. So, now we are at the end of January. They come out to install the window get it up to remeasure and check to make sure it fits (this should have been done MONTHS AGO), and it does NOT fit! They tell me there is no way they can install this window. So we are back to reordering. 3-6 weeks waiting since the glass shortage due to the pandemic for time. So we wait. In the mean time after 3 weeks I am calling every Friday to check in on the status of my order.no one ever knows what's going on. We now come to March, hooray, the window is in! We set a date and time. Date and time gets close and I get a phone call saying we are canceling for rain, hold on this isn't even the date we agreed upon, so can you still come out on the day I need in another week, oh yes I was told that's no problem. Well, here we are now to the real date of March 26. They told me they would be here early, so we are ready for them everything is moved it's 8am, nothing. 9am, nothing. I finally call the contact I have who has now escalated to upper management someone that is not even in this state at this point. He apologized and says he will find out what happened. Surprise, we were never on their schedule, oh and they still aren't sure what window I have that is suppose to be in. Back and forth back and forth. The list goes on. It is now the end of May. They told me if I install my half moon window they willl have to damage the interior of my house, as well as the exterior due to the situation with the window, which was NEVER explained to me ahead of time. They have given me some money in return, but with the lifetime warranty on my windows I have two that my locks are breaking on, that have needed fixed since January, and yet here I sit unable to even get through to a call center, and my contact, Dave will not even give me the time of day to call me back. I refuse beyond anything in me to say one nice thing about this company. They are downright terrible. I have opened up a claim with green sky to refute payment to them, if I could I would rip all of these windows out of my house and pay $10,000 more just to have to deal with this idiotic company! The excuse I get the most is well the Columbus branch has gone through a lot of transitions and they just haven't been able to figure things out: well I'm sorry, it's time to figure it out! Waste of time and money. Save yourself the headache and go with someone else! Ps. This isn't even the half of what I've dealt with, it's all I can type out!

We are the O*** family
We are the O family. We went with Window Nation because they are supposed to be one of the premiere Window & Door companies in the Carolinas. Would we recommend this company to anyone? Well, that kind of depends. If you stay in constant contact with them daily maybe, if not then no.
Customer service is horrible. Many times, we called and left messages or sent emails that went unanswered or returned for weeks on end.
Jane A (Inside Sales Representative) was the saving grace for this Company, going above and beyond her job requirements. She made many phone calls on our behalf, came to our house to follow up on installation and finally got involved with *** their follow up repair company. Jane also had to listen to well over 20 phone calls from either my wife or myself being quite frustrated with the unprofessionalism that was being delivered to us "a customer" that spent well over 50k for doors and windows in this Pandemic Era. So...We were extremely satisfied with Jane. This company is very Lucky & Fortunate to have such an employee as Jane, I hope they appreciate her and all that she does for their company.
We would have walked away from this company if not for Jane.
Tried calling the Owners of the Company but their secretary said, "they don't talk to customers that's why they have Customer service specialists". Wow Really? I wonder where the money came from for them to be able to purchase their LAMBO'S, HOUSES & PROPERTIES.
HINT...CUSTOMERS! Should always be available to talk with your customers.
The installers- Both sets (6 individuals) of Hispanic installers (doors & windows) were extremely professional and did an amazing job with installation. Edder the lead window installer & his team were quick, efficient & courteous and they paid close attention to details. The door installers were amazing, had to rebuild the front entrance, and were also very professional and skilled. We are more than pleased with all the installers. Job well Done. the install auditor "Jesse" did an awesome & professional job ensuring all work was completed correctly. Way to go Jesse!
Rhonda- Customer service - not very good at returning phone calls or emails or any type of communication. That Leaves a very bad taste in your mouth from a customer's perspective. She didn't return Janes calls or emails as well. 50k dollar customer before financing.
*** - Horrible experience.
We had an appointment set up with *** to repair a broken window sash, side lights that were supposed to be frosted & to finish the front door trim & a gap between the front doors and frame. The appointment was for a Friday, I took off from work to be present while all repairs were being made. My appointment was between 8am-10am.
The day before (Thursday) we received the confirmation email & text regarding the appt. Friday I sat all day waiting on them and no one showed up, not even a phone call. So, I called Jane which called *** which called me and said their technician was tied up and could not make it out Friday, this was at 5pm (simply unacceptable). I lost my cool on the phone with the lady that called, and I asked her why they didn't call earlier, she had no answer to that question but offered to reschedule it for the next day on Saturday at 9am.
Saturday at 8:45 the technician called and stated "I don't know why your appointment was ever made to start with, your materials is not even at the warehouse".
Two weeks later *** finally arrived, this time I knew the Lead installer, Scott Parrish from my younger days. I felt a bit relieved because I knew then the work was going to be completed correctly and efficiently while staying professional. Jesse the Install Auditor came and inspected all the work to ensure that it was done correctly. Scott did an Awesome job ensuring attention to detail was being observed and delivered. Scott is very knowledgeable & customer oriented. What an asset for Window Nation.
IT'S A SHAME, product is great but the Customer service is horrendous...not a great recipe for success. But who needs repeat customers anyway? Or word of mouth advertising?
Hope this Honest review helps.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Window Nation
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Window Nation. The sales rep that came to the house was amazing, and is still the ONLY person who answers my phone call, treats me respectfully, and actually makes things happen. Every experience after with the installation, the customer service on the phone, returning phone calls, talking to me like they do not have time because I have problems with the install, etc. Here's our experience (and this isn't even every single detail!)... We had a situation where our insurance was replacing the siding and we were working with a public adjuster to manage and schedule all the work. I asked Window Nation to schedule their install date with my public adjuster so that it could be done in conjunction with one another. They NEVER responded or attempted to call or called back my public adjuster (who called multiple times). When I got the phone call about a week before the install I was told that they were "not allowed" to speak to the public adjuster as I was the customer. At that point, the public adjuster said that they could install the siding after the windows, but that he would come out the day of the window install just to make sure they didn't caulk the new trim to the old siding (because it would be torn all up when they removed the old siding). The day of the install, several problems occurred. While the install team was polite and professional, I firmly do not believe that they have been trained appropriately. We have an older house and talked with the sales person about needing to be on the lookout for wood rot. The install team just went ahead with installing over the wood rot and not until they were questioned did they go back and "try" to address it. The pictures I included are what the windows looked like after them "taking care" of the wood rot. Now, I know that it will be covered with the trim, but the rotten wood was NOT completely taken out and the pieces that were taken out were not filled with wood - the holes were caulked. My public adjuster inquired about how the trim was to be installed, as I stated above, but the manner in which they were trained to do the trim is NOT up to code! So, we told them to STOP working and not to do the trim. This caused some people from Window Nation to show up and call (Steve, who was the "boss" of the install team, and a gentleman name Mark who I wish I would've written down his last name and job so that I could get in touch with him, he was wonderful - listened and he even felt like we had very valid concerns with the install, and a phone call from a lady named Kori who had an attitude and refused to accept that the install wasn't up to code, treating us like we do not know what we are talking about). At this point, we just told Window Nation that we either wanted them to refund us for the amount that labor and materials would be or come back out when the siding was going to be done to finish the trim. They said they would take the second choice and come back out. When we brought up the wood rot situation, Steve told us to let the windows get put in so that there wouldn't be holes and the windows would be sealed up, but that when they came back out they would take the windows out and double check the wood rot (IT WAS HIS IDEA!) Fast forward to March, I get a phone call from the lady Kori about scheduling them to come back out and she told me that I would be charged if they took the windows out and the install was correct. I told her that I didn't think that was fair being that it was Steve who said to do it that way in the first place - I would have had them do it the original install day if it were up to me! Due to the pandemic that was just starting, we agreed to put the install on hold until things were more calm. Fast forward to May, I call Kori to say that I think we are okay to move forward, she tells me that she is taking my account off hold and I should hear from someone in no more than 3 days, that she would send an email. Well, I waited a week - didn't get a call so I called Kori back and had to leave a message. I pushed back the siding install, ONCE AGAIN, because I couldn't get in touch with Window Nation. I wait another week and call Kori back, she does answer, but this time gives me a phone number to call to schedule (aren't they supposed to be calling me?). I call that number only to be told that the lady I need to talk to is on her lunch break, they do not know when she will be off her lunch break, and that Kori never contacted her in the first place. They had an attitude and talked to me in a rude manner also. So...here I am, waiting for some lady, who I guess, takes 2 hour lunch breaks to call me and I still have no install date set in stone...
You do this kind of project once if you can help it
You do this kind of project once if you can help it. This is my first and last time I ever need to do this. After 5 years in my HOA condominium, I was forced to ***er replace 6 torn screens after a massive ice storm ripped through the community leaving ripped and torn window screens on several units. We were scared the glass would crack or break. I thought I'd better get on someone's list for repair or replacement. I'd never heard of Window Nation, but saw their advertisements day and night during quarantine with their enticing offers. Alex, showed me the product and we played with it. We'd had a house with *** Windows and I never once opened the window outward in our 16 years there and would have been afraid to do it. All I knew was up and down. I emphasized efficient energy and wanted heat reduction. Alex showed me the cooling lamp demonstration. I was impressed with the flex screens. My condominium had standard building grade which I ended up putting film over because of the intense heat during the summers. This community is 20 years old. Because of Covid and the supply chain it was going to be longer than expected for custom fit and installation. I was one of the lucky ones to have my order completed on time which included 13 windows and a sliding glass door replacement. They advertise 3 window measurements, but 2 appointments were made. Both measurements matched, so I thought a third wasn't needed. The second measurement reps asked if I was told my shutter doors would have to be removed. That worried me greatly. They reassured me that the installers would be paid extra to work around them. They were not expected to remove them or replace them for liability reasons. Understood. I called Window Valet and learned I would be charged a service call at a steep fee. That in addition to my order fee. I made a couple more calls about my shutters. Alex reassured me again. Bernadette W said my shutters wouldn't fit right after the windows would be placed because they came in more towards the frames I had as I had a gap in between the standard window in place and the outer frame of the shutter. She asked me to email her a picture. Alex reassured me again everything would be fine, the installers would be paid extra to work around the shutters. When Jerrico came for his anticpated one day job which I wasn't ready for as I had requested 2 days, he took one look at the shutters and stopped short. No one had informed him and he had no idea of how to proceed. So much for communication. He even tried to pull the top of one of the frames off the wall which had been fastened and cement glued on. This was permanent. He complained to his boss that I wouldn't be able to put my hand under the bottom of the frame to open the widow as the window lip would be right on the bottom of the frame. I told him not to touch my shutter frames. He left with 2 other crew not happy. I was not happy. Now what? I was ready to forfeit the sale. Just as he left, Bernadette W, QA paid me a visit and wondered if the crew showed up. I explained to her what happened and she told me Window Nation had dealt with shutters before. Only the doors needed removal. She could see how upset I was. Jerrico had the nerve to leave a WN sign with another satisfied customer. Well I wasn't that day. Received a call immediately that Shawn would be out to reassess sand work up a plan for my installation. The next morning Shawn, the installation Lead , Phillip K, and Nick paid me a visit. Both Shawn & Phillip did immediate measurements and both verified the job could be done. They complimented my shutters as did Bernadette and Phillip calmed me down, that he could work around my shutters. Allow him to try one and if it met my satisfaction, he would do all the rest the exact same way. I agreed. When he came, he tried the one and DID NOT have to remove the shutter doors. The window worked and the shutter doors closed perfectly. Phillip made all the windows look effortless. He only had to remove 2 end shutter doors in my bedroom and had no problem installing any of the 13 windows in my order. Window Nation needs education and training in shutters. Not everyone has simple curtains and rods. The windows and my shutter doors with frames looked like the perfect fit as if they had been created as one unit! Phillip K did an awesome job! He gets the 5 stars. Make sure you get the required skill level for your project. He made a beautiful frame for my new sliding glass door as those doors were 1 1/2 more than the standard that was in pace. He did have to modify the drywall to accommadate the extra frame. Another awesome job. Education and skill level. Phillip was also mentoring 2 apprentices. Thank you to Phillip K, Nick, and Riley for all you did and under the heat wave conditions.

I would like to first start off by saying, this had to be the worst experience ever
I would like to first start off by saying, this had to be the worst experience ever. Not the sales part, but every aspect after it was awful. Brad in sales, was amazing, he came to our home during a time that fit our schedule, was very personable and down to earth, no run around straight to the point and did not make us uncomfortable pushing a sale. With in a hour we had all of our windows picked out, and started the buy and ordering process. Now the BAD! And I would like to say we purchased not just one window, but our entire house! Defiantly not just a drop in the bucket type purchase. I must say the positive on the installation was they started the day they were supposed to, it was all down hill after that. The installation crew that showed up, were very unprofessional to start, the main gentleman of the crew showed up in sweat pants, and boots that he couldn't tie, he brought along his son that if i had to guess couldn't been any older that 16, and the third guy who was about the most professional, he was actually dressed to fit the part, entered the house with a mask on which the other two did not, and all it would have taken was them to ask which way we were comfortable but that wasn't even a consideration. Once they entered my house, they never put on boot covers, took off their shoes or put plastic on the floor or a covering down until I made the comment asking if they needed towels or anything to put down. ( WE HAVE WHITE CARPET) after that the young boy went and got plastic to put down, which doing so he had no clue what he was doing, he walked on my carpet with his dirty boots on backwards while unrolling the plastic. SO after that mess, they finally started on the windows. I have 3 large separate windows in the front of my house, it was 18 degrees the day they started, while snowing. They took out all 3 windows at one time which left a opening of 11' ft x 6' ft for 2 1/2 hours. I had both my kids home, I had to shut off my furnace and my kids had to dress in their winter clothes because it was so cold in my house. At noon my husband comes home from work, he is working close. He walked up to the house witnessing the young man dropping flashing on the ground and than followed him into my house, and watched him not even take his shoes off and walk on the carpet not even on the plastic. After all that happened today and me keeping my husband in the loop he was furious! My husband did confront the young man, and than the kid started yelling and mouthing back to my husband, my husband than told him to get out of our house. Let it be noted that before my husband left, he went down and apologized to the young man and tried to make amends, we were under the assumption that the issue was fixed and all was well. My husband did also call into the Customer service and made them aware of what happened. Before my husband ever got back to work, the crew started cleaning up and leaving, at this point they got 3 1/2 windows done out of 13. Also they had all the old windows, new windows and trash, broken wood piled on our front porch, the main entry into our house. We had no were to walk, heaven forbid my kids didn't fall out there, land on broken wood or glass. They come back the next day after my husband called and complained to the Customer service manager, she sent the main guy and the third gentleman back out along with Albert from the office, Albert stayed all day helping and supervising. Through out the day the main guy who again showed up in sweats, spent a lot of time sitting, while the other two worked. They did get all the windows in that day from the inside but had to come back to finish the outside of them. That was scheduled for Saturday, they texted at 7am when they were supposed to be here and said they were not coming, they than came at 9:30 Sunday morning, left by 2 and still it was not finished and they left a mess outside of our house metal shavings everywhere and garbage all around my house. I have dogs and children who go outside, this was not acceptable. We let the company know, they again send Albert out, to clean up after the crew on Tuesday, the crew than showed back up Tuesday afternoon to finish, got done around 6pm. At this point we were not offered a final inspection or walk around, they got paid and left. My husband called the WN again to ask about the walk around, they sent out a new guy a few days later, we did the walk around found that one window put in has a scratch in the glass, they also got to replace a few pieces of flashing that was dropped along the way and the outside of the windows were not caulked properly that is supposed to be redone as well and a handful of the windows were left uncleaned, smudged and covered with sticker glue and finger prints, we haven't heard no more on them. We received the text message that says for any reason if you no thrilled with the service to call us right now, so we did so. Once we called the gentleman that answered could careless about what I had to say, because it wasn't anything good, I was cut short and pretty much hung up on. We were told the day they walked on our carpet it would be taken care of that they would have a professional carpet cleaning crew come out to clean our carpets, they has never been fixed or addressed. If this is how the company operates or this is the type of installers they always send I would NEVER recommend this company. -Unsatisfied customers

Short answer (tl;dr): The company has no customer service and does not stand by what they sold you
Short answer (tl;dr): The company has no customer service and does not stand by what they sold you. If you have any issue, expect the company to ignore you and run off with your money, refusing to even talk to you. This review is about their inability and unwillingness to fix problems and mistakes. Sales and install itself went well. Lovely windows and a great installation crew. However, I have 70+ inch windows in height and replaced all of my windows in my house to have a consistent look throughout. 4 of the 16 windows were installed as 36 inch windows. So 4 of the windows have horrible large blank areas above and below the window. In addition, one window never showed up so only 15 of the windows were installed. One of the windows was also installed with about an 8" tear across the screen, rendering it useless as a screen and now I can't open that window. I hoped to get these issues fixed but I cannot get ANYONE at the company to even acknowledge I exist. They cashed the check and now won't return calls or emails. They were installed July 7 and I promptly notified the sales person I negotiated the contract with who forwarded my concerns. Never heard anything, so I contacted the customer support where they were asking to report any issues with the installation. I got generic responses of they strive to answer within 48 business hours. I've tried 3 different times, never getting more than a response that I will hear back within 48 hours. Again, reaching out the sales, they supposedly escalated it to their manager. But still, no response. The company they buy the windows from did finally call me almost a month later to say the window showed up and to schedule the install. I expressed my concerns to them, they also didn't understand why the wrong size window was installed but heard my complaints. The last window was installed - but it is aggravating to have paid in full in cash then not even be able to get a response from their customer service to even acknowledge that they were reordering the window to get it replaced or how long I should expect to wait for the window to arrive. So at this point, I've contacted the sales person twice, who forwarded my concerns and then again supposedly engaged their manager. I've heard nothing from those engagements. I've reached out to their customer service 3 times, only to get a generic message that someone will contact me within 48 business hours but never got any response. I've also engaged the manufacturer of the windows and got no where. I would rate them a 0 if this let me but 1 star is the lowest it goes. There is a complete and total lack of any customer service or ability of them to stand behind their product. These are what I would call a minor issue and I can't get anyone to acknowledge me as a customer. I hate to think what I would be going through if I was having water damage. To be clear, it's been 1 month and 10 days since the install and since I've been trying to get them to respond to me and show that they have any customer service at all. To date, I have not gotten anything. I still have 4 windows I paid for installed with smaller windows that makes the aesthetics of the house look poor and personally would be a negative as a buyer if I was looking to buy this house. I have 1 window I can't open because the screen they installed has a huge tear and is not capable of keeping bugs out. Basically, avoid this company at all costs. If you manage to have no installation problems, great. If you have any installation problems, don't expect them to fix it nor expect them to even care to hear about it. They are just there to take your money - once they have you on the hook for the money, they don't really seem to care about their service. I gladly would have went with a competitor with an inferior product or a more expensive product to have received any customer service at all. I would suggest anyone looking to get windows does the same. There is a warranty, but if I can't get them to even respond to me now, it makes the warranty useless. I've given them over a month to even acknowledge the issue and try to make this right but I can't even get a response from their customer service or apparently any of their management. At this point, this review is more than a tirade about not accepting that mistakes happen. Mistakes do happen - this is about the company being unable and unwilling to fix their mistakes. To expand on each rating: Overall: Avoid this company - their lack of customer service or ability to fix mistakes means you could end up stuck with thousands of dollars to get someone else to fix their mistakes. Price: Not the cheapest quote when I was shopping around but certainly not the most expensive - I would have said they are a good price point for the quality of window. Quality: The windows themselves, have a good quality. However, "we measure 3 times for a perfect fit" ended up with multiple different measurements and the wrong size window being installed. So obviously the quality control here and measuring multiple times is bogus otherwise someone should have said, wait we sold a 70" window and measured 36"... That's not a minor variation, something is wrong! So yeah, the quality overall is lacking when you can install obviously torn screens and windows that don't match initial measurements. Responsiveness: I'm still trying to get a response, 1 month and 10 days later. The responsiveness isn't just abysmal, it's non-existent. Punctuality: When initially selling and them arranging the install, they showed up pretty much exactly when they said they would. So, they were punctual. But it means nothing if you can't even reach them to schedule something. Professionalism: Sales person and install crew were awesome and professional. Would have recommended both. However, the overall professionalism is horrible considering I can't even get a response and they don't seem to be willing to back up what they sold me. My view on the company is permanently damaged at this point and I will no longer be using them for my follow on projects that I originally planned. Which is also a negative, because it's less likely to have a consistent aesthetic look now that I have to go to competitors. I'm still chasing them to try to get my issues resolved, but I feel like I mostly just flushed a significant amount of money into the toilet.

False advertising- gift card
I received an offer in my email for a $50 Amazon gift card if I schedule for free estimate appointment. I followed the directions, made the appointment, and confirmed with agent regarding the gift card offer. When I asked about the gift card, the agent confirmed twice that I will get Amazon gift card after the free estimate visit. The appointment was delayed as the sale person got his schedule mixed up. Waited patiently for over 1 hour, the actually appointment lasted almost 2 hours. The appointment was on December 22nd. Still have not received my gift card as promised. I called the office twice already and every time, they keep saying that they have notified the marketing department to send over the gift card still nothing. Please follow through. This is false advertising.
Desired outcome: $50 Amazon gift card as promised.

Windows installed 5 years ago, won't lock. Waiting on a response from Customer Service since Friday.
The reason we bought new windows in the first place was because our old ones wouldn't lock anymore and they were about 30 years old. So we decided to get new windows. We had a couple of estimates and went with Window Nation. The rep brought his sample in to show us and said that the windows not locking would not happen with their windows because they were...

Window installation damaged windows and job was never completed causing damage to siding In June , my husband and I entered into a contract with Window Nation for the purchase and installation of 9 windows. The information provided by Ginny M during the consultation was misleading as she indicated that the installers were employees of Window Nation and had years of experience and were thoroughly background checked and vetted by Window Nation. The installation date came several weeks beyond what had been communicated. The installers that arrived did not speak English so I was not able to communicate with them. I saw some installation concerns and tried to discuss them and the lead installer and he called his brother and asked me to communicate with his brother via his cell phone. Multiple calls were made to Window Nation in an effort to address the installation issues and I was told that the issue needed to go thru the warranty department and they would get back to me in 24 hours. I continued to call and was repeatedly told it was all ok and they were confident that the installer was doing what was needed. I finally got someone on the phone and explained the communication issue and they seemed surprised and asked me who was doing the install. I then insisted that they send a manager to my home as I was disturbed that they were not able to tell me who should be doing the install. Eventually I learned that that not all the installers were vetted or employed by Window Nation, only the primary installer and then they could bring anyone they wanted to assist with the project. I requested that the installation manager come and see the work as there were large open gaps and the windows were visible crooked. I had to call my husband to come come, and only after legal threats did they send the installation manager who said yeah, could be done better and the windows just need to be adjusted and he would send another team to fix them. The windows were left with open gaps for several days, through rain storms, while they arranged another team to come out. When the other team arrived, they confirmed that 7 of the 8 windows that had been installed were installed incorrectly and 6 of them were installed in a way that caused damage to the window and would void the warranty. Another window was ordered in the wrong size. They reached out to Window Nation and advised me that 8 windows would need to be reordered. The 1 window that was installed correctly was left unfinished on the outside and they advised they would complete the installation when they returned with the rest of the windows. I was told the windows would be rushed and that it would take 2-3 weeks and then they would redo the install and seal them. That was back in August. Since then I have called almost weekly speaking with July, Madison, Ariel and other reps only to be told they don't have any information and someone would be in touch. I have not received any communication from Windows Nation. Because the openings were left unsealed, damage to our siding has occurred. I have siding that is coming loose around the window openings and who knows what other damage. These issues were brought to their attention during the installation and they were overlooked by the installation manager who barely glanced at the windows and didn't check them to see how they were installed. It wasn't until the 'new' installers came and I advised them that I knew they were installed incorrectly and they confirmed, but still no response from Windows Nation. We have not been balance billed yet, but have paid the $1,500 down payment and are now headed into winter with unsealed and faulty windows.

11 Contract signed for 10 windows to be installed by Window Nation (WN) They said 6 weeks . Then pushed out 20 they came to install after 16 weeks. Wrong color windows and 2 windows were wrong. Window seal damaged, one window is installed backwards , one the framing for a special window is terrible. And another the window frame is cracked . Also the installers did not clean up after themselves. Called the day of the installation in March 2022 the day the windows were being installed . Said someone would reach out and this issue would get corrected. The installers told me not to pay the balance due until this was resolved. An email was sent immediately to WN customer service, cs@windownation.com A call was immediately made to WN customer service. I exchanged emails with the sales manager and the install manager and another manager. Another call was made to customer service and got directed to the manager. I his information. Spoke once asked me to forward my emails then nothing. Stopped answering my calls, emails or text. Spoke to B she stated that this wasn't there issue it was a sales issue and transferred us to the Manager denied responsibility and claimed it was a sales issue. Called CS again stated I haven't received a call back after 2 months told manager was on out of office for the week and would call when the returned 2 more months and no call . Told again that they gave message not responsible for them calling or not . B stated that this wasn't their issue and they still require money due. Called manager again no response no call back . Left review they said call them it was pointless because issue was not resolved again. Received an email last month that balance was due or else. I Emailed asking if I was going to have resolution no response called spoke to representative B then told someone would come look they did . Still want me to pay before they fix things ! This has been going on for way to long
5 windows in my home were replaced by Window Nation in May and I was told the insulation was going to be fantastic. My old windows were 80 years old. Today, with high winds coming from the west, both new windows on the west side of the house (one on main level and one on 2nd floor) are draftier than my old ones. You can see from the thermometer on the windowsill of a closed and locked window that the temp reading is 28 degrees. I work from home at this window and my hands are cold. I called and was told that the labor warranty expired and it would be $150 up front for them to come to the house. This is unacceptable. Maybe the labor was OK but the draft is coming through the channels on each side of the windows. I expect that the other window upstairs (same install date, same brand, same size as one in this complaint, other side of the house) is exactly the same but the wind isn't coming from the east today.
I have never worked with a more unprofessional company. We've filed multiple complaints and still nothing has been done. First, it took over a year from when we purchased the windows for them to be installed. When they were installed, 1 was broken and 1 wasn't the right window. So we had to wait 6 more months for those to be installed. They kept sending us bills and hurting our credit score for non payment, but the job wasn't even done. They forged a "job completed" form before we even received all the windows. None of the windows lock properly and we've asked multiple times to have someone come fix them, no one has come. And now this is our first winter with them, and it is absolutely freezing in our house. If you stand next to the window, you can feel the cold air blowing inside. My son was complaining that his room was freezing one night and my husband noticed that his curtains were moving from the wind blowing outside. Our furnace is working hard to keep the house warm and we are currently experiencing below zero temperatures. My husband called them a few days ago and they said "we will call you back in 4-5 days". This is absolutely unacceptable and has been nothing but a headache since we started this process. We just want some justification.
This job was contracted on 9.9.22 to replace a bay window, replacing a broken window, replace a sliding glass door and caping 2nd floor windows. The job was quoted at $10,600 dollars. A deposit of $4089 was paid in cash to Window Nation. The balance of $6511 was financed through ***. As of 12.28.22 the broken window, in my dining room, has still not been replaced. I have been waiting for the window to be installed for 4 months. This window has been paid for. I have spoken to at least 7 different Window Nation employees about finishing this job. The salesperson who quoted the job did not know the difference between a replacement window and a new construction window. A fact which cost me several hundred dollars in window capping fees. I paid for the window capping, however, none of the windows could be capped because they are new construction windows. When I questioned the company about the charge, I was told that they would reimburse me for the capping fees. 2 months later, I am still waiting for reimbursement. The cost of this job was financed through a 3rd party HELOC company. Window Nation submitted the full expense of the job to the finance company, so Window Nation has been paid in full. However, the job is still not complete. I am asking for the capping and broken window to be removed from my bill. As well as reimbursement for the time I took off from work waiting for Window Nation to complete the work.

Terrible Service and installation When we initially signed our contract (May ) we signed for every window in our house to be replaced
Terrible Service and installation When we initially signed our contract (May ) we signed for every window in our house to be replaced. Due to a slow down in work hours from Covid I called our sales rep a few weeks later to have our contract amended and he told me that that was impossible because the windows are already being made. After further investigation we found that this was a lie, our windows were not in production in any way, shape or form. I was able to speak to management (June ) and have our contract amended to only have three windows being replaced. About 1.5 months later I received a call that our windows were done and I set up an installation date. I called back a few days prior to the installation to find out what time they would be coming to install only to find that someone had messaged the wrong phone ( not me) to say there was a mistake with the window installation and our windows weren't ready yet. This was sent in a text message to a random down and not once did I receive an actual phone call Had I not called to find out what time they would be there I would've been sitting around waiting for my windows. After this, I was finally able to set up the date for my windows to be installed. (9/12) The installers arrived on time however I came to find out that they are a third-party installation company and upon our initial consultation with the original sales person I was told third parties were not used with the company. The largest and most expensive window that is to be replaced did not fit. The installers cut through part of my drywall to try and get it in only to find that it didn't fit and they had to put in the old window back in. (this is a giant bay window in the middle of my living room). When they put the window back in there is a large crack in the center pane and it is also missing pieces around the interior framing of the two side panes. It is not properly sealed for Weather (you can feel cold air and every car that passes is loud like you're outside) and you can see light coming in around the framing of the reinserted old window. A smaller window in my dining room was replaced. upon initial insertion you could see light coming through the seams of the window I was told that this would be filled in with foam and weatherproofed. I have come to find out that all they did was put the siding back on the frame of the window on the outside of my house so the light cannot be seen anymore; they also put in wooden Framing on the inside which they cracked when they installed. And there is also an area that is not sealed where you can completely see light coming in and feel air. There is a smaller window in my bathroom that we had replaced as well. this one (they said) went in without a hitch. I did notice however air coming in and it seemed very loud. It sounds like cars are driving on my lawn whenever they go down my street. I have come to find out that they also did not seal that with foam or any weather proofing and once again just put the siding back on the outside of the house so that the light coming in from not being completely sealed is no longer visible. I have contacted this company since the date of installation. Unfortunately it was a weekend. I've continuously sent them pics of everything that we have found wrong. I have got an email response (9/14) that I am a "top priority" but I have not heard back from anyone and it is now three days after installation. I believe the issues with my installation should've resulted in a phone call immediately on Monday. I am highly upset with the damages done to my home and the shoddy installation of the other two windows and the fact that the main window was completely the wrong size and the reinstalled old window was not installed properly.

I purchased windows from this company on 06-16-22. They installed the windows on 10-21-22. Two of the windows were not installed because they were the wrong size. Two windows that were installed on my sun porch were not installed correctly and I didn;t have a screen to one of the windows on the sun porch because it was not the correct size.. I called the company on the next business day. They sent someone out on 11-02-22 to inspect the windows and see what the problem was. I was told that the windows were reordered on 10-28-22. We showed him pictures of the spaces that was now filled with caulk. We were told that they would reinstall them and that I would not have to start paying until the job was complete. I am still waiting for these problems to be corrected. I have called and was told that they were going to fix the problem and that the windows was going to take 4- 6 weeks. I received a phone call on 12-01-22 from their inspection department and they wanted to schedule a date to inspect my windows. I told them about the problem and they told me that the date for my windows coming in was 12-05-22. I told her that I spoke with window nation the day before and that they didn't have a date. I also received a phone call from foundation finance company saying that my first payment was due 12-30-22. I informed them about me not getting all my windows and the other problems and was told that I signed a contract and I am now liable. they didn't keep their end of the contact by me not receiving all of my windows. They said they would call window nation and get back to me. I called them as well and was told that my windows did come in but they had to have them checked to make sure that they were the right size and call me back. I never received a call but finance company called back again and also sent a statement for my first payment. Please help all I want is my windows installed correctly and a screen.
The salesperson who we dealt with in January 2022 from Window Nation was Roy Moser. During the sales pitch he went outside to see if there were any other "deals" he could find us and to allow my wife and I to discuss purchase. When Roy returned he said that there were no more deals but that he was allowed to give us the "cash" price and still be allowed to apply for the 0% financing option. He wrote the contract as COD to get the "cash" payment price. Roy said that we would just need to apply for the financing before the windows were installed. Prior to installation I contacted Customer Service (mid June 2022) about the financing and was told they would email Roy and the Sales Management team. (Windows were installed mid July) Roy called me on 6/30 and told me that even though he said we could apply for financing up until installment, I now could not because they changed lenders. I called numerous times through the beginning of July to speak with a Sales Manager and was told each time that an email would be sent to them and that I would be contacted within 24-48 hours. I was never contacted by a Sales Manager.
I placed an order for new windows. My contract is fraud and they are trying to charge me for 2 windows without honoring their DEAL that's all over the internet with the buy 2 get 2 windows free. The lady on the phone confirmed I have that discount but only two windows. Not the other two. I've called and emailed many people. And nobody has called me or even reached out. I've been calling for over a week to get a resolution.
I purchased 5 new windows and paid almost $10,000 in cash. They were installed in July 2022. One of the screens was not properly made and I am still waiting for the correct screen. Today, December 18, 2022 we noticed a cold draft in our living room and lo and behold the front living room picture window is warped on the bottom left corner and it does not fit flush causing the cold air to blow in and a bad draft. This is ridiculous.
Failure to meet agreed contract installation requirements
Failure to meet agreed contract installation requirements. We June 18th of 2020, we purchased 15 vinyl windows for $14,450.00 for Window Nation. Per the salesman and the multiple ads we had seen, we chose them for their promise to provide to the best quality windows and factory trained service available today! On Sept 3rd, the installation team arrived and we were told that not all of our windows were included. The garage window was not there along with all of the installation parts, that being screw hole covers. The team proceeded with installing the windows they had with them. We encountered an issue then with the crew not wanting to do the trim as it originally was but resolved that over the phone with Brandon, the manager. After ripping out most of our kitchen window, the installer discovered that the window he had from the factory was the wrong size and a new one would have to be ordered along with the missing garage window. At that time he stated he would order the missing screw hole covers as well. He basically duck taped our kitchen window in place as a temporary fix...We were told someone would contact us after the holiday. After waiting several days, no return call so I called Window Nation on 9/10 and was told that the items were ordered but thy had no idea as to when they expected them to arrive. Next, on 9/15 I called and spoke with Stephanie Secino who was the one to help me and she stated she would get right back to me with a delivery date and apologized as that response was simply unacceptable. No call, so I called on 9/16, no answer I left a message. Again on 9/21, no answer left message on the Service and Warranty line. Then on 9/23 I called and got Amber who seemed shocked that no status was available so she escalated the matter to her Manager Andy B. Conversation with Andy seemed very real and professional and he assured me that as soon as he could, he will get me a status. At this time, I informed him that I had issues with the work done in that the caulking was already cracking and that the intended holes for installation were not used and the covers not installed. The screws used are exposed. He sent a Tech, Justin, out the next morning who documented all issues that I had. My concern of how the installation was done was clarified as being "the usual" way we have to do it and also via email conversation with Andy, he agreed but the screw holes should have been covered. Andy would contact me as soon as the items arrived. I was told by Andy that the 2 windows would be in soon and set a date, Oct 19th for the installation. On Oct. 134th, I received an email from Andy stating that the shipment arrived and my window was not on it, he needed to cancel the 19th installation. On Oct. 19th I was told the window would arrive and set Tuesday the 27th for installation. Here on the 27th, the crew arrived, installed the 2 windows but once again, no screw hole covers. I was advised to call service and arrange for another request be submitted. As the "Windows have all been installed" and that the covers were only a minor detail, I was asked by the tech to sign a completion of work and pay the final amount due on the contract to which I declined as in my opinion, there was still work to be done, cover the screw holes! He called his manager, Brandon, who asked to speak with me. Brandon stated that the contract is for installing the windows any issues beyond that were "Service Calls" so I needed to pay the full amount. After further arguing with Brandon, I agreed to pay all but $634.00 of the balance to which he wasn't happy with and stated someone would be in touch later on today. He was very aggressive in his handling of this with me and completely non-empathetic as to my side of the issue. Final thoughts, their commercials are misleading, their representatives make statements that are no backed up by their work! I feel the need to warn the public as to my experience.

I replaced 7 windows in my house with window nation Summer of 2020, three of the 7 were defected. I contacted window nation and finally in December two of the window sashes were replaced. I'm still waiting to have the 3rd window sash replaced and the company continues to give me false information and my contact person they assign to me continues to change each time I'm told my replacement has been ordered and that I will be contacted to schedule the installment. The installment still has not occurred, the last email sent on October 18, 2022 states that the manufacture has a ship date of 11/23. and the part would be in or around the 1st week of December. I contacted window nation by email on December 5, 2022 and still have not heard from anyone.
On 6/30/22, salesperson from Window Nation showed me two windows: one with reinforced foam but more expensive the other without and cheaper. To improve value I signed a contract to replace 31 windows with foam variants. 10/17 they came to install windows. The work was fast; you would think they are trying to demolish the house instead of just removing the window. But they think it's enough to just cover all damaged parts with aluminum cover and caulk. When I checked the window frame for foam, 10 of 31 of the windows were missing it, although the workers told me all of the labels on the windows were correct. During 2nd installation on 10/29, the manager told me they didn't have the right glass for one custom ordered window, it was in the other plant and would be installed another time. They brought nine replacement windows. One did not have the filling, meaning they will have to come a 3rd time. This is not just a simple fluke mistake. During the 3rd installation, 11/22, they didn't bring the window. A manager from the manufacturer brought one sample to show me that their frame has the foam. When he tried to drill holes on the installed frame in different location to demonstrate the presence of foam, even he could not find any. Five people: 1 from Window Nation, 2 from ***, and I visualized the problem on site. As of now there is still one window missing the reinforced foam filling and one window missing one screen. The window without foam was installed and it's still missing the interior work. I will still need them to return and finish the interior but would like to propose getting a discount on my total purchase instead of needing that last window custom ordered and replaced. Also compensation for my time off from work due to their mistakes again and again. Window Nation won't acknowledge that the job is incomplete, and they're demanding that I pay the final installment though the job is not done. Therefore I am writing to you to file a report.

In April 2022 we purchased windows from them In October they were installed. the main kitchen window was not ordered correctly. Once they brought out the correct windows, one of the windows was cracked and the other ones were not right. I called to see when the new windows would be installed and waited another month. I have called and been brushed off and lied to for several weeks now. Please assist
I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with my entire Window Nation experience
I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with my entire Window Nation experience. Below is a timeline of events. This details the issues we have had with WN. 07/20 - Used the Window Nation website to initiate the process of possibly purchasing new windows through Window Nation. 07/22 - Met with Chris B to discuss window needs. Agreed to order windows and foyer entry w/door. 07/23 - Completed signing of work order using HelloSign. 07/23 - Completed financing through ***. Financing approved. 07/30 - Received email from Aimee P to set up the measurement appointment. Agreed on 08/10. 08/10 - Window Measurement appointment. 08/xx - Received a call from WN informing me that a critical measurement had been missed during the measuring process. A WN representative would need to come by and take the measurement. A couple days later the representative took the measurement on the foyer window above the to-be-installed front door. 09/08 - Received a call from Chris inquiring about the status of the project. Informed him that work order had been signed, financing completed, and measurements done. Asked him to look into status of windows and provide a best guess as to when the installation might begin. No status provided. 09/17 - Emailed WN ([protected]@windownation.com) with above timeline. No response. 09/24 - Received call from Chris. Wanted to verify interior/exterior door colors and trim color. I asked Chris why the window/door process is taking much longer than expected. He said it is due to a *** delay. I asked him to obtain an estimate for the installation of all windows and door. He stated he would and that he would call me back. No call back. 09/25 - Received an email for an order change from WN for the front door which required my signature. 10/13 - Emailed WN and *** Windows informing them that I am cancelling my order due to lack of communication and stagnation of any progress. No response. 10/22 - Emailed WN and *** Windows again requesting that my cancellation be acknowledged. 10/23 - Received an email from *** Window's Nicole C asking the group if anyone has contacted me. 10/xx - Spoke with Angela M (WN) multiple times regarding order cancellation. I was told I could not cancel and if I did I would be required to pay for the windows. Angela elevated my disgust and WN took off $1000. 10/30 - Received email from WN stating target installation is 12/14. 11/16 - Received email from WN confirming installation is 12/14. 12/01 - Received email from WN confirming installation is 12/14. 12/14 - Emailed WN. 12/14 installation was cancelled due to weather. Installation was rescheduled for 12/16. Snow was expected on 12/16 and I did not want to lose more money for boarding my dogs during installation. Installation moved to 12/17. 12/17 - Windows and door were installed. 2 windows not installed due to production issues. 12/18 - Emailed WN (Angela M) inquiring about missing windows and an ETA. I also pointed out that the balance due was incorrect. Balance was missing the $1000 discount. 12/22 - Received email from Angela M. Said she will have a better update on the missing windows next week. Also pointed out that the balance was the full balance, did not mention the $1000 discount. 12/27 - Emailed Angela M reminding her about the $1000 discount and why it was supposed to be applied to my balance. 12/28 - Emailed Angela M. I started re-installing all of the blinds. 2.5" blinds will no longer fit in the windows due to a loss of depth. Basement blinds installed perfectly, no loss of depth. All other windows (10) now require new blinds. This will now cost me around $500. This change in depth was never discussed or pointed out. This change in depth will now cost me an additional $500. I don't understand why there was no change in depth for the 4 basement Grand View windows installed in the basement but all other windows lost significant space. Interior space for blinds went from 3" to 1 3/4".

Window Nation is running a false promotional offer. Their TV and Radio ads, salesman who came to my house, and the special instructions in my contract with them all state "no payments or interest until 2025". The contract with the finance company (***) they made me sign does not honor that promotion. It is only a 24 month promotion. When I spoke with *** they told me "they are not honoring Window Nation's promotional period" and "I signed a contract with them and they don't care what Window Nation's contract states".
We contracted Window Nation on 4/14/2022 for new windows, including a bay window, a patio door, and window screens. The project cost was $28,925. The estimated start date was 14-16 weeks, which would've been early August. Our rep did the initial measurements to create the quote. Another member came out a few days later to get precise measurements. The install date was set for 7/25/22 after arriving at the warehouse. On 7/25/22, the normal windows were installed, but had an issue with 3 screens being ripped and put in, which I pointed out to the installers. They cut out the old bay window and started to prep the install of the new one. The angles were measured incorrectly, but since the original window was cut into pieces for disposal, they had no option but to put in the incorrectly angled window. It fit, but the window came out too far under the edge of the gutter, leaving a gap above the unit. Another team of installers started to get the patio door ready. It too was measured incorrectly, so couldn't get installed. We received a call from the production manager to reorder the bay window, patio door, and the screens. We were given a 4-6 week timeframe, putting us around late August or early September. We got a call the first week of September that the screens were in, and we scheduled to get put in on 9/23/22. While on the phone, we asked about the bay window and patio door and were told that they weren't expected to be in until at least October. Meanwhile, we had a few rainstorms and had some flooding on the windowsill from the bay window gap. The new bay window and patio door arrive in the warehouse and were set to be installed on 10/13/22. This install went smoothly, and our project is finally done, 26 weeks after the initial 14-16 estimate. We've reached out to our production manager on several occasions for a price reduction, and after finally getting in touch over a month and a half ago, have still heard nothing. We deserve better than this.
2nd issue with them! Cannot get a response from this company to save your life! There is a lifetime warranty on the windows but it's impossible to get action or even a response without going through the Complaintsboard.com. I have never had as much frustration dealing with a company than Window Nation! Originally, I needed service on 7 out of 13 new windows! Yes more than 1/2! Again, had to go to the Complaintsboard.com for them to respond! Someone did come out quickly after going to the Complaintsboard.com but not all issues were resolved as shutter plugs needed ordered. It's been almost a month and I have heard nothing. The incorrect amount was ordered so I requested confirmation almost a month ago that the correct amount was ordered...and again no response! I need confirmation that the correct amount was ordered and when they will be in! They used drywall screws to rehang the shutters! So now they are rusting and the shutter paint is running down my vinyl siding! They could have went to Lowes and got the shutter plugs but yet a month later and I still don't know when the issues will be corrected, or even if the correct amount was ordered! I would also like a good contact name/phone number so I don't have to do all of this run around and go to the Complaintsboard.com every time an issue occurs! Again, they are 100% responsive for the sale...but everything after complete joke!
The salesperson spent 3 hours in my home and insisted he wouldn't come back if I didn't sign a contract before he left and told me I had 3 days to cancel if I did change my mind. It took him over 24 hours to even reply when I did ask to cancel where his excuse was his phone was getting "spotty service". I explained that it wasnt financially viable for me to use this company for the property I inquired about but I would like to use the company on other properties since I own more than one so to please get my order canceled. He informed me he would get everything canceled and email me the forms to sign and another 48 hours later he said his bosses' boss said they couldn't get the contract canceled. I feel like I'm being jerked around just so they can have more excuses to get every penny they can which is not only going to not make me want to use this company again, but every contact I have in the Dallas real estate market will know my troubles with the company as well.
Did not deliver as promised
Did not deliver as promised. Will not answer phone or email. They have a $1500 deposit that needs to be returned. To All Whom This May Concern June-14-2020 This alleged agreement is considered null and void by the noted buyer due to a change in the dimensional data see "Change Order Request". This change as noted by your request is not acceptable as it will cause the requested new size to interfere with interior casings which I cannot change due to my disability. Further it is noted that a supervisor by the name of Rhonda was left a message to call me about delivery date this was done on [protected]. Rhonda did not respond? I tried contacted her again on [protected] and refused to hang up the phone until she answered, finally after an hour wait and speaking with two other people she came to the phone. I questioned the delivery as it was noted on agreement under "Estimated Project Start as 5-7. She tried to convince me that this was weeks before start and not to be confused with Start Date. This is very misleading. I asked her to give me an update and she stated it was going to a department for verifying and approval and that as soon as that was complete it would be another 3 to 5 weeks. We are in week 7 now. On Friday 05/29 a man I believe named Tom called requesting a variance of either a quarter or a half inch and I was ok with this. Then comes the "Change Order Request" showing a 1 3/4" request. NOT ACCEPTABLE. I tried to return a call on 05/29 and speak to Tom or Rhonda NO ANSWER AGAIN. I made another call on Monday 06/01 at approximately 10:00 AM to speak with Rhonda (She is in a meeting and will call as soon as available) NO CALL BACK. Approximately 3:00 PM called again and she and her supervisor are still in meetings. I was finally transferred to a supervisor in the Service area I believe his was Bryan? He assured the message would be passed to Rhonda's supervisor immediately and she would get back to me. Guess what NO CALL from Supervisor. Approximately 4:00 PM the same man that called on Friday about variance called me back. I immediately asked if he was Rhonda's supervisor and he replied NO, so I explained I would only talk to Rhonda or her supervisor. I did explain to him that variance was not acceptable and my reason why is as previously described. I also stated to him that the order can be considered cancelled and he stated I would be responsible for 60% and I stated I did not believe that to be true since order bad not been placed and fabricated. He kept ranting so I hung up the phone. He called back and stated he did not like the way I ended the call, I had to end it as he would not stop ranting. I proceeded to hang up again. He called again and I refused to answer. All this having been said I am notifying you of cancellation of agreement dated 05/17 Reference page 1 of 5 This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement and understanding between the parties, and this Agreement replaces any and all prior negotiations, representations, or agreements, either written or oral. My husband and I hired Window Nation to install a patio door and basement window in our home
My husband and I hired Window Nation to install a patio door and basement window in our home. Due to poor customer service we cancelled the order. On July 27 my husband and I decided to purchase a new patio, glass, sliding door with built in blinds and a new basement window to replace a current broken one. We began working with Richard H/Inside Sales Representative at the Cherry Hill, NJ, Springdale Road location. We enjoyed working with Richard and placed our order a few days later. On August 19, weeks after ordering our products, Richard reached out stating he could no longer provide the sliding glass door we chose. We have an email stating, in Richard's words "apparently we no longer offer blinds in sliding doors (although there is one 5ft from me in our showroom) this was news to me, and it turns out it is because in your area with the blinds the doors are no longer energy star certified. And also, the basement window is too small to make an opening window, would you be ok with that window just being a picture window that does not open." Upon, receiving this information my husband and I were not optimistic seeing that a Salesman did not know his products and offered us something they no longer produced. Since our window was broken and currently boarded up and we needed the patio door we decided to trust Richard and go along with his new suggestions. Prices were adjusted and new paperwork was drawn up. Richard stated we would hear from an installer in a few weeks to set the date for install. On October 5, I reached out to Richard after not hearing from anyone in regards to our products. We know due to COVID things may have been slower, but no communication was made, very unprofessional. (We also have emails to prove we reached out multiple times). Richard responded the expected delivery date was now 10/20 and someone should be reaching out to us shortly. On Nov. 3 I reached out again after not hearing from anyone. On Nov. 4th Richard emailed a response stating just the window was in and the door should be arriving shortly. They never offered to come out and install our broken window while waiting for the door, again very unprofessional. On Nov. 17th after not hearing from Richard or the installers, I contacted Richard letting him know we were cancelling our order due to the lack of contact, giving us the runaround, and lack of professionalism. I explained to him that we did not feel comfortable in the reliability of dealing with a company that does not have good customer service and thanked him for his help. Richard's response was less than desirable as he stated "has no one reached out to update you since we last spoke? If not, I can find out what's going on, just let me know." At this point I reiterated to Richard that my husband and I were through with Window Nation and moving on. Richard then responded stating that suddenly all of our products were in and ready to be installed. He stated we signed a legally binding contract that is quite clear and offered to send us a letter from their legal department outlining our options, he would certainly make that happen, but he would prefer to get our project installed and make everyone happy. He then stated "there is just no option to cancel, especially once the product have been made. We responded again, that we were not proceeding or excepting any products from Window Nation and to please forward us the information from their legal department. At that point we NEVER received anything or heard from their legal department. On December 22 I received a call from, Brandon P stating he would like to set up a date to install our products. I emailed him and let him know what was going on and never heard from them until I received a certified letter in the mail on January 19 form a Dawn I(Customer Fulfillment Manager) stating they have tried multiple times to set up an install date and we must respond by February 1 and failure to respond will result in legal actions.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced!
The worst customer service I have ever experienced! Personal property damage, lies regarding financing, horrible install, unresponsive staff. On 4/18, we met with the sales rep Daniel G, who provided information regarding the "quality" and "commitment" of the company. We agreed to the install of 19 new windows and the 6 months no interest financing. Daniel assured us that we would be able to "pay down" our loan during that 6 months and the payment would be calculated based off the total amount that was still due. During our sales rep interaction, Daniel advised us that our install would take place around 5/15. We went with it were excited for our new investment. Since that time, we have been highly disappointed and have had nothing but issues with this company. I would not recommend them to ANYONE! 6/8- Our first date of install (3 weeks after we were told it would be). They assured us that "Due to COVID-19," the install had been delayed. The installers were at our house less than 3 hours, start to finish, for 19 windows. With each window they installed, more and more problems were becoming evident. They not only left caulking all over our new composite decking, but they also left greasy handprints along our walls, scratches/dents were on 90% of the window sashes, chips and scratches were all along our amish oak trim. Along with the terrible and quick install, 3 of our windows were also delivered incorrectly. I contacted Window Nation and was told that since we were already an existing customer, the new windows should only take a few weeks to come in. 6/16- Our first service call to assess the damages done to our property and to "repair" the issues, fix the poor install. The service tech reported that it would take "days" to fix all the issues from the install as the installers did not even cap the outside of the windows. 7/7- Second service call (6+ hours) to clean the caulking off our composite decking 7/18- Third service call (10 hours) to begin capping the outside of our 19 windows and to fix the caulking to the inside 8/12- Fourth service call (10 hours) to continue capping of the outside and clean up of the inside. Also, on this date our correct windows were delivered and installed. The "couple weeks" we were told that it would take to receive the remaining windows took 7 weeks! 9/2- Fifth service call (8+ hours) to finish capping of the outside and clean up of the inside. On this date, they sent two service techs as otherwise they would have had to schedule a sixth service call. It took over 3 months, start to finish, to have new windows installed correctly. Almost 5 months from the time we first met with our sales rep. During this time, my husband and I have both repeatedly contacted window nation customer service, our sales rep and even sent an email to the owner's regarding the damage that was done to our property. Not once have we ever received a response from anyone in the company. Each time, we were assured that "someone would reach out to us," and each time, that promise was unfulfilled. 9/2- the date of our last service call, we received a call from the finance company to discuss the details of our loan. The loan officer advised us that our payment would be just under $200/month. I told him that we were told by our sales rep Daniel that our payment would not be calculated until after the 6 month's no interest. The loan officer then informed us that our sales rep essentially lied to us, and that despite what you pay in that 6 months, the payment amount will never get recalculated until the loan is fully paid. I once again reached out to window nation on 9/3 and was able to speak with a manager, Mike R, directly. He took the time to listen to my complaints, especially my concerns regarding the financing. Mike assured me that "a director would be reaching out to me no later than noon on 9/4." Fast forward to today, 9/9, and I STILL have not been contacted by anyone from window nation regarding the horrible experience we have had.

The window is not properly installed in my stone front house
The window is not properly installed in my stone front house. The vinyl window is separating from the wood casing. The vinyl casing is bowing. I received financing through Window Nation for $6,617.00 to purchase a bay window for the front of my stone home. The bay window was installed on May 11th. That night, after the window was installed, I was putting up the curtains and noticed that the window sill was cold to the touch and I felt a draft. (That night we had a frost warning in Bucks County, Pennsylvania). I called Window Nation and stated what I noticed. Someone from Window Nation came out and checked the window. He said the large center window was bowed. He would have to order a new one. He said he would check the outside of the job. He got his ladder and inspected the job and said it needs caulking. While he went to his truck, I climbed the ladder and to my surprise noticed the shabby work they had did. The caulking job was horrible, so was the capping job. I told him please do not put any caulking here, this has to be cemented in. He told me that they don't do masonry work. I told him, "This is a stone building, there has to be some masonry work involved with this. How can you install a bay window on a stone building and not expect some masonry work to be done?" While installing the big bay window or ripping out the old window, some of my stone was loosened. All this I explained to the gentleman but he did not know how to answer me. I told him when you pull into my driveway, what you see is a stone building. He told me he would come back with a new window sash to fix the bowing window problem. While waiting for the window sash and for Window Nation to address the outside installation problem, I started to prepare to paint the window sill. I further noticed that there was about a quarter inch gap between the vinyl casing and the window sill. More than two weeks went by and I never heard from Window Nation or the gentleman who was going to bring the new window sash. I contacted them again. I spoke to Matt from Window Nation [protected]). He came out July 3rd and inspected everything. He told me that the vinyl had separated from its frame. There is a possibility they would have to remove the whole window, but he would have to talk to the engineers about it. I also told him about the masonry work needed outside. He said they don't do masonry. I asked him then why did they take this job knowing it's a stone building. Who is going to repair the loose stones that happened when they ripped out the old window and installed the new one? He did not answer me. He just said they was a possibility they would have to replace the whole window. He also said they would do a better job on replacing the window and capping, but they don't do cement work. He told me about a synthetic caulking they would use. I told him that's unacceptable, it has to be cemented in. Again I explained to him, it is clear to see that this is a stone building. If they couldn't do the job right, then why did they take it? When it rains heavy, the water seeps into my stone through all the gaps that have to be cemented. This is creating damage to my property. Matt never got back to me. I informed the bank that financed this purchase. They notified Window Nation. A lady, Jessica, finally called me this Wednesday, 7/24, three weeks after Matt came out, telling me that Window Nation wants to schedule an appointment for August 12th. They want to put adhesive on the vinyl to attach it to the frame. I told her that is not a fix and what were they going to do with the outside issue. She said she didn't know. I told her I need Window Nation to come here and fix all the issues. I haven't heard from anyone yet. I am a 63 year old man with a heart issue. This situation is not only causing damage to my home but also affecting my health. I've been making payments on this window and I haven't been able to use it. I gave them enough time to figure out a solution to this problem but they are ignoring me. This is why I am filing a complaint today.

We are senior citizens and I believe that we were part of a fraudulent scheme to purchase windows unknowingly
We are senior citizens and I believe that we were part of a fraudulent scheme to purchase windows unknowingly. On October 18, we called two window companies to come to our home for quotes on windows, *** and Window Nation. Window Nation came out first. The Salesman brought a sales window into our home, explained how they worked how efficient they were. He took a rough measurement of one window and said he would send another employee out at a later date to measure the rest of the windows. While we sat at our table he was figuring out our quote, he told us the quote was $7711.00 for windows and installation. He said in order for us to lock in our quote we had to give him our credit card information, which we did. Then he said in order for us to lock in our price we had to sign his computer, which we did. Again my husband and I stated to the sales person that we only wanted a quote and not a purchase because we had another company coming later that day for a quote too. The Salesperson confirmed that this was just a quote and would only lock in the price for future use if we decided to use the company. At this point he said he would send a copy of the quote via email, which never came. He left saying he would be in contact with us. We received a few calls about scheduling an appointment for window measurements, but my husband and I told Window Nation not to come because the quote was too high and we didn't have to money to continue. A period of time passed and a representative from Window Nation showed up in my driveway. I greeted the man and asked why he had showed up at my home when I already told the people on the phone not to come. I thought was unreasonable but he pleaded that he needed to do the job as asked by his superiors and then he asked to come in and measure the windows anyway. It was my mistake to let him in. I was trying to be courteous so he would not get in trouble from his employer. I asked him not to turn in the measurements because I was not in a position to buy the windows. He said I'm just doing my job and left. I never thought about Window Nation after that, and then I received a call on July 8, while my son was visiting, and a managing representative from Window Nation stated he had a signed contract and we owed money for the widows that we purchased. But we thought the whole time that this was a quote and thought it was uncalled for that the manager was calling. He said that the windows have already been ordered and demanded we have to pay or face legal action. I then had my son and his lawyer friend call Window Nation customer service in Maryland and they talked to an agent there they said that they have no record of our transaction and that they work with third party representation company. Then they transferred my son to a manager in the Columbus branch and they also said they had no record of our transaction. They then transferred us to our district sales person the sales person stated they never heard of us hung up on us soon as we asked about the whole situation. On August 6 I received an email and a copy of the contract with the full price of what we owed for the windows that we supposedly ordered. They said in the email that we either pay for full price with installation of $7711.00 or 60% of the total price with no installation, which is $4614.00 within ten (10) days or face legal action. At this point we contacted a lawyer and they told us they would investigate. Then we received another email on August 8 saying that due to high volume of production the windows may be delayed. This made me to believe that they didn't have to windows manufactured already like the manger stated on July 8. This whole ordeal has made me feel that I was taken advantage of because of my age and I feel that this company has done all they could to scam me and my husband into paying for windows I never thought we ordered. I am sickened that a credited company such as Window Nation would do this to the elderly and I pray that this is resolved in a civilized manner.

My windows and French doors were installed poorly, causing damages to my home
My windows and French doors were installed poorly, causing damages to my home. Repair services have been avoided by company In January I had e windows and a set of French Doors installed poorly by Windows Nation's selected installation contractor. The French Doors were missing parts, the installers used the wrong screws, didn't support the base of the frame, didn't insulate one of my windows which caused water damage to the wall, didn't seal the base of the other 2 windows causing the wood frame to start rotting, and left a mess in my yard for over 3 weeks. I tried contacting my sales rep several times over the next few months to voice my concern of what started to happen POST installation, but I didn't get a response. Ithen called the direct 1-800 national number to try contacting anyone at the local branch responsible for products, got ahold of a customer service representative that told me they would contact the installation company and let them know about my issues. The manager of the installation company tried to argue with me about the installation, stating that his crew are always 100% on their work and that they did the job correctly. After arguing back and forth about the mess they left on the side of my house and that I had damage done to my wall, a draft from my doors, and bugs were able to get into my house from the doors not being installed correctly, he said he would send a maintenance technician out to see what was wrong. This is now 6 months after the initial installation. The gentleman showed up late, looked at my French doors and took pictures of the model number on the product label, stating that the top of the door was missing parts, wasn't capped and that the hardware used was mounted incorrectly, making the door seal loose. He informed me he would contact his boss and they would contact Windows Nation about it to make sure my doors were fixed and would be the way they were meant to be. He refused to take responsibility for the water damage to my wall, saying that it wasnt front the install, it must have been from something before hand, which was incorrect. The plaster bubbled and cracked 3 months after the windows were installed and the snow melted from the winter weather. A few weeks went by and I never heard anything from Windows Nation or the Installation Company, so I called the 1-800 number again to try tracking down anyone who was dealing with my account. I was out on hold for a while, then was informed that the sales team responsible for my windows and doors were no longer employees at Windows Nation. After a few more days I received a call from a gentleman who said he was the new sheriff in town and that due to the company's poor service practices, alot of people were let go. He promised to put my account issues on his plate, getting my issues with the French Doors fixed asap. He also informed me that the installation company that did my windows and doors were no longer allowed to work for them because of their poor work and that Windows Nation now had direct contracts with a local company they trusted to do the work. A few days went by and I was called by the new installation company, told them the issues I have with my doors and that the last company bailed on me and lied about doing the work correctly. They made an appointment to come out on July 6th to check on the doors and see what needed fixed. They noted many things wrong with the install. Wrong screws used, no support under the frame of the door, parts missing, frame not being flush with the outside of the house, the insulation on the inside of the frame not covering far enough and letting in a draft, the seal on the bottom of the door was bad, the seal on the door frame where the doors close and lock was bad, the hardware was loose because of the screws being to small and drilled in the wrong spot, and the top of the door wasn't covered which would let water, air and bugs get in. They said they would get parts ordered and would contact me when they came in. I haven't heard anything since August about my doors.

Windows Nation has failed to replace a warranted widow
Windows Nation has failed to replace a warranted widow ... after 9 months of very frustrating attempts to have this done. Assistance is requested. Several years ago all of the windows in my Charlotte, NC home were replaced by Windows Nation (WN). A primary reasons WN was selected was the lifetime warranty on their products. Earlier this year the gas seal in our foyer window failed and considerable condensation developed between the window panes. During March my wife contacted the Charlotte WN office and explained the condition of the window. She was told WN would order a replacement window and installation of this window would be scheduled after a $150 installation labor payment was received by WN. A check was mailed immediately to WN and it was cashed a short time later. After a few weeks passed my wife called WN about the status of the replacement window and was told "it is on order". After several more calls and more weeks passed my wife called Charlotte WN again and was told the window had been received and installation would be scheduled. More weeks passed during which my wife made several telephone calls attempting to have the replacement installed. Most of her calls were not answered so she left voice mail messages. During her last call she was told the WN installer would check the schedule and get back to her within 2 -3 days. She never received a call back so I got involved during June . After several telephone calls, many excuses, and the passing of several more weeks I honestly thought we were being deliberately stonewalled and that the warranty on my window would not be honored. Due to extreme frustration, and in attempt to have the warranted window replaced, I contacted the WindowsNation.com website Hot Line. The individual I spoke with did not provide any assurance my issue would be resolved so I insisted on speaking with somebody in WN management. Finally, I was able to speak with representatives of the Service and Warranty Department (SWD). Although the individuals I have spoken with have been polite, they have repeatedly only provided excuses. The $150 installation labor check previously sent to WN was returned to me "because of the inconvenience experienced". The SWD has told me repeatedly that communications were being sent to WN staff to get my issues resolved. Due to lack of progress in resolving this situation I asked to speak to the next person in the WN chain-of-command. I have been told repeatedly "they are not available" but they would call me back. This has not happened. I have emailed the owners of WN twice concerning this issue but have not received as much as an acknowledgement of the situation. After more calls to the SWD I was told an installation crew would be at my home during late September. An installation crew arrived as scheduled but brought with it an incorrect replacement window. The lead subcontractor-installer apologized, took measurements, and said he would report this and a correct window would be ordered. Since that time I have had many additional telephone calls with WN. I have been told repeatedly that I would be contacted when a replacement window arrives and installation would be scheduled. I have told WN several times that my home is for sale and the window needs to be replaced. On November 4 I was called and was told I should know by November 6 when the replacement window would arrive and then installation would be scheduled. November 6 passed by. I was then called and told I should know by November 13 when the window will arrive. I explained again that this window issue is causing me significant problems. More recently, I was told the replacement window had an "ETA" of November 27 and that I would be contacted to schedule its installation. No call. I then spoke with WN on December 1 and was told the Warehouse is inventorying a truck load and installation would be scheduled. Today I was told the window didn't arrive at the Warehouse. Nine months have passed and the window has not been replaced. I don't think WN will honor my warranty and replace my window.

WindowNation has failed to complete the installation of new windows since May
WindowNation has failed to complete the installation of new windows since May . Wrong windows are continually ordered and service is not complete It is coming up on ten months (5/14) since I signed the contract for new windows and my work is still not complete. No one from customer service calls to update me on the status and I am left always having to initiate the contact. The excuse I constantly get is the production is delayed because of covid. Frankly, I am tire of the excuse. May 14, my wife and I signed a contract with Window Nation for 27 new windows in our house. We understood that there would be a slight production delay and we were fine with that at the time. Window Nation had to send someone out a second time to measure the windows, because the first person did not take the correct measurements. Sort of a big deal. Finally, in September . The windows were installed. A two-and-a-half-day job turned in to five. The installer informed us that a half circle window in our foyer was the incorrect size and had to be reordered. The window had been measured twice and it was still made incorrectly. The installer told us the new window was ordered and someone would be in contact with us. After the installers left, I checked all the windows and immediately found issues that were described as "service issues" (missing caulk, scratched window, hard to lock window due to being made wrong, leaking window, ripped screen, and bent sashes). I immediately contacted our sales rep who said he would contact the service department. After no response for a few days, I contacted the sales rep again and this time someone from service finally called me. It wasn't until October 28, when someone from service finally came to my house to look at the issues. It took from 9/20 until 10/28 to send someone out to address the issues. The service employee documented the issues and informed me a new half circle window had been ordered. Late November / Early December I contacted Window Nation to check on the status of the window being remade. 12/1 I was advised it was still being made and someone will call me when the window is delivered to the warehouse. I called 12/17 to follow up on the window issues and speak with a manager. I was informed they were still waiting on parts. I continued to follow up in January and February and was told Window Nation was still waiting on the new widow to come in. Finally, 3/25, 6 months after the initial installation and service call, Window Nation responded to my house with two crews. An installation crew and a service crew. The installation crew of 3-4 people installed the last window from the original install that had to be reordered. After installing the window, they left. The lone service employee then came into repair the issues I had with the original install. He attempted to replace the bottom window in one of the rooms, however, to no fault of his own, the wrong size window was ordered and made. The window he brought did not fit and must be reordered again. Furthermore, the service employee, to no fault of his own, was unable to replace the large picture window by himself. He had asked the installers to assist him, but they refused and left. In my opinion, the 3-4 installers, who delivered the window when they showed up, should have been the ones to install the window. (It also should be noted that this picture window was scratched by the original installers when they put it in.) I also noticed that the installers left marks on the wood trim around the window with their ladders. As of now, I am still waiting on the replacement of a picture window, a new window had to be reordered because it was not made correctly the first time (this is something the service coordinator should have done when he came to the house in October), and another new window had to be ordered for the third time. Window Nations customer service, service department, and timely delivery of their product are all well below average, especially for the amount of money we spent on their product.

Window Nation failed install windows 6-8 wks, inform me of delays, send the $100 restaurant card
Window Nation failed install windows 6-8 wks, inform me of delays, send the $100 restaurant card. Window Nation causing me mental anguish and stress. The following are my complaints for Window Nation. 1. I received an email 8/9 stating if I did the in-home consultation I would receive a $100 Resturant.com gift card. A. I had the sales appointment/consultation 11/05 and no gift card ever sent. 2. The windows promised 6-8 weeks from the time you purchase the windows. The website states, "If any delays occur, a member of our team will contact you with updates on your project". A. As of 3/28 I have been waiting 17 wks contract date. B. NO CONTACT FROM WINDOW NOTION to inform me of the delay with the windows. 3. I was told to do the following in preparation for the window installation: Remove all window treatments Remove anything on walls windows Move everything 3-ft from the windows. A. At 8 wks waiting I began to prepare my home. I removed & gave away all of the windows treatments & rods. B. Removed everything off the walls with windows. C. My daughter moved all of her furniture 3-feet from the walls with windows before she left for college 1/31. 4. I've had to let the people who were helping with my kitchen remodel in April the job is postponed. I sent an email to a Maxwell G 03/06/2021asking for the status of my windows. He replied 03/09, "'I'm working on this currently. I will reach out as soon as I have more information". I had not heard from him so I called the customer service number. I talked to a young lady who said she will contact the window maker and call me back tomorrow. I also said that I wanted to know about the cost for basement windows. She said someone would contact me. A salesman called me about the basement windows but I was working. I asked to call back 5:30P, he did not return the call, nor send an email. I had to call back after waiting several days. I have been going back and forth for over week trying to get an update. I was told 10 Windows in & 2 on backorder. I was told they would call back the next day with the date they will be available. Again, no call returned. I complained on their Facebook page. I got a call stating it will be 2 more weeks. I was offered for all of my inconvenience, stress, mental anguish $300 & install the 10 windows & come back later, help move my things. I did not accept this offer for the following reasons: A. COVID risks with a crew coming more than one time, I'm a senior. B. Not feeling safe & comfortable in my home with people moving my things around. C. Inconvenience of a second installation and my having moving things around again. One time installation is what I was told and what I want. D. The company never gave me the $500 restaurant card from the email offer. E. $300 is not an equal value of my mental anguish and stress: i. Writing & phones repeatedly is emotionally draining. They do not keep their promises to call back or email. Then I'm upset, neglected, and have to call them. ii. My living/dining room, bed rooms have been prepared for two months. House is not in a condition for me to have any social gatherings. No birthday dinner for daughter 1/26. iii. I was told I had to put their sign in my yard, it has been there since Nov 2020: "coming soon Window Nation". Family, friends & people walking by constantly ask if I was scammed & What happened to the windows coming. Not having answers for months, this has been embarrassing. F. Postponed my April kitchen remodel, inconvenienced the people doing the remodel. This is a loss to them. 03/22 Window Nation coordinator called and just made me more upset by saying the windows would be 3-weeks. This got me so upset. She asked what I wanted, I want is out of the contract. She said I cannot. I said to just email me whatever you are trying to offer me. She said a day or two days. Now six days later, no email from Window Nation. I feel I've been neglected because I am $8K customer. Their website/Facebook shows luxury homes. I am worthy of the respect & service they give to their $80K customers.

Of 17 installed windows, 16 are completely inadequate, allowing drafts through on every windy day
Of 17 installed windows, 16 are completely inadequate, allowing drafts through on every windy day. Cannot get any resolution to fix the windows. Windows were installed on/about Nov 20, 2019. At that time, we noticed one window in the master bedroom was drafty and needed replacement. Service agent came to assess the window on 12/11. We heard nothing from WN for 2wks and had to contact them to get a job status. The customer service rep we spoke to had no idea about the job status but would find out and call us back. That didn't happen and on a second call by us a few days later, we were scheduled for window replacement on 12/31. On that date, no one showed up, We called WN and were told that they had no idea if the installer was coming that day and that they would email us about his status. When I balked at that form and timelieness of that correspondence, we were told we would be called about the issue. Three weeks later, no one had called us. Around 1/23, we called WN again to find a status on the window. At that time, we found an another defective window, this one had a large crack in the bottom sash. So, we asked for a status on the first window and reported on the newest issue we found. We were instructed that the original problem was still be "worked on" and that we should submit photos of the most recent find of a cracked window. We complied with that request and were told we would be contacted in 2-3days regarding the status of the newest complaint. One week later after not receiving a call from WN, we called them to inquire about both concerns. At that time, we were told that the original window that required replacement had to be ordered (over 5wks after they came to our house to assess it) and we would be contacted about the status in a few days. Again, no response from WN and we contacted them again to complain and were told that WN was trying to get both window replacements in before scheduling an installation; but we only knew this because we contacted them when they told us they would reach out to us. On 2/25 the two defective windows were finally replaced. Upon inspection on the next windy day, neither window was any better at reducing draftiness; can easily feel the wind coming into the rooms when hands are held at the top corners of the bottom window sashes. Given the poor performance of these windows, I inspected the other windows that were originally installed (17 windows total). Each of these windows has the same issue with draftiness that is easily appreciated on windy days with hands placed at the top corner of the bottom sash. Following this discovery, we contacted WN again to set a time to assess all of the windows. We requested a windy day for their service visit so that the installer can appreciate the dysfunctional windows. We scheduled the visit for 3/5. On 3/2 when the forecast for our area showed windy conditions for 3/6 but not 3/5, I requested a change to that date for the service visit and was told that the normal installer was "booked" and our customer service rep would look to find an alternate plan for 3/6 and would call me back that day to confirm something. No call came, so we called back the next day and had to leave a message for my customer service rep asking to be called with an update. Again no response from WN. Throughout the entire process (after window installation) have we ever been called when promised. We have left reviews about the poor service, contacted them directly about the poor service and are still at a point with defective windows and no one from WN has reached out to identify how they can fix the problem. At every turn it has been up to us and our persistence to get anything accomplished. Despite multiple requests, we have never been put in contact with one of the "supervisors" to discuss issues and fixes for them just talk to a customer service rep that manages schedules. We've been told to wait 2-3 days for a response to the latest issues with drafty windows because "it's their protocol". We need resolution to the windows that we paid over $16,000 for and we simply cannot get it from WN.

After 7 months of signing contract, still have zero quality windows installed, have heard multiple lies, and experienced poor customer service
After 7 months of signing contract, still have zero quality windows installed, have heard multiple lies, and experienced poor customer service. In April , we signed a contract to have all new windows installed for approximately $9,300. The sales manager advised of multiple selling points that caused us to choose this company; many of which we found were not accurate. The installation crew advised us that they were contractors and are aware that the company tells their customers they have their own employees do it (one of the selling points we liked). They also didn't have the required hardware, so they'd need to come back. They indicated they installed one window the way they prefer and not the way the company advises; however, it caused large screw holes to show and caused damage to the frame. After looking over the windows, we noticed extensive damage to many of the windows/screens and cosmetic damage to all windows. We took photos and listed out the damage and emailed to the service department per the sales managers advice. The installer came back and further damaged the bow window frame, still not bringing the correct hardware. Nobody ever showed back up to fix the frame or bring the missing hardware. After several weeks of calling multiple times, we finally received a call stating that they would be re-ordering all new windows for the entire house due to the amount of damage that these windows had. After a period, they left a voicemail stating our windows were in and being checked for damage and they would be calling to schedule the install date. When we called back, they advised that was not accurate and they still weren't in. After a few weeks, we were called and told they were in and had been inspected and were ready to schedule the install. I advised it would need to be a weekend due to us being unable to take additional time off work for this. It required multiple phone calls, emails, and texts to get in contact with a manager. I let her know the same thing, that we were no longer able to take time off work during the week to do this and because this was due to an error on their part, they will need to work around our schedule. She said she would try to figure something out; however, it wouldn't likely work for a weekend. The manager emailed back on a Thursday and let us know that they could get a crew there on that Saturday, but if we couldn't do it that day, it would have to be a weekday. We were grateful and more than willing to drop all plans that weekend to make sure we would be here and available for that install. During the Saturday install, the crew assured us that there would be no visible screw holes because they were going to install it correctly and they were aware that it had been installed incorrectly the last time. After a few hours they advised us that they needed to leave due to a family emergency and they would have to come back. We sympathized with them and were willing to work around this and my wife took Thursday off work so they could come during the week. They let us know that there was significant damage to the outside of the bow window, and they took photographs to show they didn't cause the damage. Due to reused trim, the holes aren't covered, and the edges aren't matching up. There was also significant cosmetic damage to both the interior and exterior of the window, looking worse than the original window looked. Again, we took photographs and emailed back to the manager. Again, after receiving no response, I reached out and the manager said she must have missed the email. We re-arranged to be available which ended up being a nocall, noshow from the crew, which meant my wife took the day off for no reason. When talking with the manager, she was unaware that they had only installed one window partially. They agreed to re-order the window for a 3rd time and couldn't commit to a set time for the next install appointment. I am very disappointed with the quality of windows and the quality of the crews they have sent, and the customer service. It has been the most unprofessional and disappointing experience dealing with a company.

New windows???
We purchased 24 New Windows, had terrible install, came back 4 times and still not corrected. Have numerous texts from installer with excuse after excuse. Finally Corporate came out and determined they need to take 23 windows out and replace main frame because they were installed improperly! We did not choose to have windows rebuilt. We paid an excess of $20,000 for NEW WINDOWS. We were informed at first, they would expedite the new MAIN FRAMES. 4 weeks later we are told they have a hard time getting supplies. WINDOW NATION took our money and that is all they have done.
Window frames
When my windows 2 years ago I ordered bronze and the window frames were installed white, looks bad. I have contacted window nation several times and it always takes weeks to get an answer, I was finally told that they only come in white and beige, I was told by Burindette to go to Sherman Williams and paint match the bronze and paint the frames with a paint brush
Desired outcome: Please refund

We are very happy with the windows and doors from Window Nation. The installers were very polite and professional during the project. The installers were on time and very knowledgeable about what work was being done.
We were very happy with our Window Nation experience. Installers (at least 5) arrived on time, and finished in a timely fashion. They actually left my house cleaner than when they arrived. I would absolutely recommend this company.
The project has not been completed and we are far from thrilled. Install was on 9/14. The installation team installed 3 broken screens, got spray foam on our newly renovated kitchen walls and installed the wrong sashes. The installers then left without mentioning anything to us, letting us find all the mistakes on our own. I emailed our sales rep pictures immediately but did not hear back by the next day. I called the office and was told to send pictures again in an email. We were told a coordinator would call us, that never happened. I had to call back a week later to ask what's going on. We were told the screens were ordered but nothing about the repairs. We were told again someone would call to set that up. Again, that never happened and I had to call back. I've called at least 10 times. Always promised to get a return call from a coordinator within 48 hours, never happening though. Then in November we were told the parts were never actually ordered and they would now put the order in. We were originally told they would be back the first week of OCT to replace the wrong parts. Its almost January. WHAT IS GOING ON?
Our window installation is now complete, but it took 8 months to resolve the issues! I called the company many times about 2 windows I was having issues with, left many messages to no avail. Window National makes many promises but once they have your money you are a forgotten customer. Make sure you do your homework and research the company because they are not accredited with the complaintsboard.com as they state on their paperwork and they have had over 500 complaints!
