Greetings, my name is Julie Evans, and I am writing to express my profound disappointment with Thredup. As a VIP member, I sent in a clean-out kit and expected to receive only fair and kind treatment. However, I was shocked to discover that one of my items was missing after my kit was processed. It was a burgundy Adidas burkini top and bottom set that I paid $150 for, and it still had tags on it. I immediately contacted customer service about the missing top, only to be told they needed to investigate why it had a code that was not recognized. I also pointed out that the bottoms were not leggings, but rather part of a set that could be worn for swimming, surfing, and rash guard activities. Nothing was ever done despite the customer service representative's promise to rectify the issue. My half-set was eventually listed for sale at a low price, and when it didn't sell, I was still charged $5.99 to get it back.

I am extremely disappointed with Thredup, and believe I am entitled to compensation for the lost top and the incorrectly listed bottoms. I have repeatedly tried to reach out to customer service, but their responses have been far from satisfactory. As a loyal customer, I feel let down and I urge Thredup to take swift action to rectify this situation. The attached photo is the same item except in lavender and I did not purchase the head covering.

I am also curious to know what happened to the other half of the missing outfit. It is not fair for the customer to bear the burden of staffing issues and the inability to keep up with the influx of items. I had hoped that there would be at least four opportunities to turn this around, but unfortunately, every turn resulted in a failure.

Desired outcome: A gift card that covers the cost of the outfit $150, with an additional $100 for the inconvenience. The alternative would be the equivalent credits to my Thred Up account and a $5.99 credit for the cost of returning the bottoms.

Levels of theft are very high at Thred UP or do I mean it should be called Theft UP?
