Placed an order for installation of laminate flooring. Full payment was charged to The Home Depot credit card. Once installer came out to look at area to be floored stated unable to give exact amount of how much installation would cost until carpet on flooring is removed. If flooring is uneven(of course floor was uneven)would be additional costs($1300). Cancelled all installation by Home Depot contractors. Just purchased Laminate flooring. Thought this was simple until I received bill with original deferred amount on bill for $5036.16(still had installation charges). Called THD customer service explained situation and if deferred amount could be corrected to $3136.46 because installation charges were cancelled and only purchased flooring. Was told by credit department, give the at least one to two billing cycles and they would correct deferred amount. Called when first billing cycle went by and was told still working on it. Second billing cycle goes by and deferred still the same. I called and was told the cancelled installation payment was credited to my outstanding balance and the deferred amount would not change. Would like to get this corrected before we start payments on deferred amount.

Desired outcome: Would like deferred amount to reflect the amount we were charged after cancelling installation by The Home Depot contractors.
