To whom it may concern,

My name is Lucia Garland, and my husband and I recently started renting from the Public Storage located at 15456 E Mineral Ave, Centennial, CO 80112. Since September 26th, when I started moving into my unit, the front gate has been inoperable and still remains that way. It’s apparently been in operable for quite some time now and no one at the facility, including the manager, thought that it would be appropriate to tell their customers that upon move in or prior to move in. Due to this issue, everyone that is renting a unit at that facility is unable to access their unit from the time the office closes. This is unacceptable because that is about three to four hours that people, including me, are losing access to their belongings that they pay to access until 9pm MST. Also, I went to the office on September 30th before office closing hours, and no one was at the facility. They took it upon themselves to leave whenever they felt like it and just screw over their customers. There were at least two or three people who pulled up trying to gain access, and did not look happy at all that they could not do so. I also called the facility on Oct 1st before the office hours had ended, and no one answered the phone or returned my voicemail. I don’t know who gave these people free reign to just make up when they leave or allow their paying customers access to their units, but it’s absolutely absurd how this facility has been allowed to be run this way.

It’s a gate that needs to be fixed. No one is asking anyone there to solve world hunger or solve the murder of Jon Benet. Just do right by your customer’s and solve the problem. In the meantime, I believe some type of monetary compensation or discount is in order seeing as this issue was never once brought up when I made a reservation and signed a contract, and only found out once I showed up to move in and pulled up to the gate. That’s a few days they had time to inform me and chose not to. Please get back to me as soon as possible and have the problem solved quickly. Thank you.

Sincerely

Desired outcome: Fix the gate and compensate for the HUGE inconvenience.
