Nissan continues to be negligent by refusing to assist me in this transmission issue. Over a year ago I was told by the dealership the loud banging noise I was hearing in acceleration was part of the transmission and they couldn’t do anything for me until it died. I took it to the same dealership yesterday to fix a recall and also to report the same issue with my Rogue. They claim because there’s no check engine light on and THEY test drove it that there is no problems. They claim they ran a diagnostic test and it came back that there’s nothing wrong with the vehicle. This is the second time they have sent me home driving a car that I don’t feel safe driving. Don’t buy a Nissan rogue especially not a 2016 because I’m not at 70,000 miles yet and they basically forced me out of the warranty by continuing to deny my claims so by the time they suddenly find something wrong that needs repair the entire cost will be on me. They need to open another class action lawsuit and do something about this.
