So I bought some Digimon stuff from Nin Nin Game's website because they were advertising a limited edition poster with a signature and I was like, heck yeah, I want that bonus item. But when my package arrived, there was no poster to be found and I was bummed out big time. They even had pics on their site showing the poster and saying it was included with the limited edition item. What a letdown.

To make things worse, they made me pay extra postage after I had already paid for everything. What kind of bologna is that? Might want to think twice before buying from them, folks. Stay sharp.

I bought something from Nin Nin Game because they said it was in stock, but then I got a message saying that Golden Week and a whole bunch of people ordering the same thing was causing shipping delays. I asked them about it and they said the holiday didn't start until October. Then they sent me an email saying the shipping price went up and they would pay for part of it but I have to pay the difference. I was confused and kinda mad - they're only covering what I already paid for? What the heck?! Stay away from this site, they don't even give refunds. Beware!

I was real excited to get this Figure that I wanted and it had a value of around 300?, so it was a bit of an investment for me. At first, the release date kept getting pushed back from March to April to May and so on, until now. I dunno about y'all, but that don't seem right to me. So I asked 'em if I could just get my money back and they said "no we can't." No reasons given, no solution at all. I'm pretty mad about the whole thing, so I'm gettin' myself a lawyer to take care of it.

I picked DHL as the shipping method as I wanted to get my stuff fast and I was willing to pay the extra fee. But then, I waited for like 3 weeks with no news, and that was pretty frustrating. Finally, they told me that the backpack I wanted to buy was out of stock, but they shipped the card set anyways, without even asking me if I still wanted the order.

I contacted them to ask why they didn't inform me about the backpack situation before shipping out the card set that cost way less than the shipping fee I paid. I was a bit upset as I thought that was not very professional of them. I asked if they could refund me at least for the shipping fee, but they refused. I thought that was not fair, so I decided to open a claim with my credit card to get my money back.

After that, I talked to their customer service and they offered me a refund for the backpack and a partial refund for the shipping fee. They also asked me to drop the claim, which I did as I thought it was a fair resolution. I was glad they took care of the problem, but then I found out that they banned my account for no reason at all! I couldn't believe it, and I was quite upset as I had pre-orders with them that I needed to cancel.

I tried to contact them multiple times, but they didn't answer my emails at all. I was left with no explanation, and I felt ignored. It's a pity because I really enjoyed browsing their website and I had made some purchases from them before, but now I'm seriously considering not using them anymore. Be careful if you decide to use Nin Nin Game, as I had a bad experience with them.

My package made it to the destination country on the 18th, but hold up -- DHL couldn't deliver it, or so they said. Why, you ask? Because Nin Nin Game went and declared the package as being worth a whopping $1,300 USD, even though it was really only worth $63. Them some big dollars, let me tell you. And because of that sketchy-declaring move, a bunch of taxes ended up getting tacked onto my order. Taxes that were waaay more than was necessary because the real value wasn't declared right. So, I couldn't get the package unless I paid those crazypants taxes -- taxes that were 200% of what I paid for the items themselves!

And you know what's even crazier? Since then, Nin Nin Game has been downright MIA and ignoring all my attempts to get in touch. I called DHL too, local AND origin office, and nada. It's like they vanished off the face of the earth. This whole shady mess is making me think they sent me an empty box or something after taking my money and overdeclaring the value on purpose. And then they just dipped, never to be heard from again.

Look, I've dealt with other sites that are way more professional and reliable than this. AmiAmi, anyone? Do yourself a favor and DON'T order from Nin Nin Game, even if you're dying to get your hands on something that's sold out everywhere else. There's gotta be better options out there.

I was worried that if my cancellation request wasn't responded to before they shipped the figure, I would end up with two figures and would have to pay twice the amount. And you know what, even if I was able to cancel, they actually have a 15% cancellation fee! That's a total rip-off! Seriously, why require a cancellation fee? They're just trying to earn money off of their customers. I have ordered from many websites before, and never had to pay for cancellation.

The total cost for my order was around 34,000 yen. And to make the payment easier, I used Paypal's Pay in 4 plan, which added additional fees and increased the amount to 34,000 yen. I had to pay about $60 for the first installment, but now I'm only getting refunded $14! Why do they take so much money from their customers? It's outrageous!

I strongly recommend staying away from Nin Nin Game. They're extremely shady and only want your money. You can have a better experience ordering from literally anywhere else. Don't fall into the same mistake as me.

Take a deep breath and be patient. I've received everything I've ordered, even preorders. Nin Nin Game has the best prices for Premium Bandai SHFiguarts for those living in Canada or any other country where they had to use third-party sellers.

Mickael is the representative I speak to through Facebook, and he's pretty great. We do have a minor communication barrier, but for the most part, it's pretty seamless.

Ignore the negative reviews. We humans tend to exaggerate when we feel entitled or don't get what we want. I can say from experience that their shipping packaging is phenomenal. I've never had any damage to the outermost SHF box, let alone the actual packaging or product. It's completely safe and reliable.

So here's how it went down for me. I placed an order for a Kotobukiya HMM Zoids model kit on Nov 29. The item was marked as in stock on their website, and I paid for Fedex/DHL shipping. The invoice cost me ?13,096, which included a hefty ?5,000 shipping fee. That order was confirmed and paid for in full straight away. But then, those Nin Nin Game folks didn't ship my order like they claim they would within the 2-4 business day window they advertise on their site. After waiting for over a week, I had to reach out to 'em to ask what was goin' on. They told me my order would ship priority the next day.

But two days passed and still no indication of any shipping or tracking info. Instead, I got an email tellin' me that they couldn't ship my order 'cause of COVID restrictions with Japan Post. I reminded them that I paid for DHL/Fedex, not Japan Post. They replied sayin' that the previous email was an error and that they would send my order very soon.

That same day, though, they sent me another email askin' me to cough up an additional ?2,700 ($35 AUD) in shipping fees 'cause they had the wrong measurements for the item. Man, I was mad as hell by then. I mean, it's been almost two weeks of 'em playin' me, and now they're tellin' me I gotta pay more for their mess-ups?

According to them, the item wasn't actually in stock at all, but was on pre-order when I bought it. And that's why they had the wrong measurements and stuff. But their website listed it as in stock, no pre-order notes or anything. So I ain't buying it. As a seller, they gotta provide accurate prices and stock levels on their site. Simple as that. They can't sell somethin' to somebody for an agreed price and then come back and be like, "Oops, we need more money now."

And get this - their own Terms and Conditions say the same thing! Check out section 2 - Contract and Orders - 2-1 Prices: "Only the price specified in the invoice may be considered as final. Invoice prices include price of the products, handling/packaging fees, storage, and delivery costs." So, the amount on my invoice, ?13,096, is supposed to be the final price. Period.

I called 'em out on it, laid it all out like I just did, but did they do the right thing and uphold their own T&Cs? Did they heck. They kept pushin' for more cash. Like, come on. This ain't how good businesses handle their own mistakes. You don't just pass on the cost to the poor sucker who bought from ya. That's ridiculous.

Now, all I can do is hope that the refund process isn't as annoying as the buying process was. 'Cause that's probably where I'm headed now. If things change, I'll come back and update this review.
