Maine Lobster Now This place is trash!

This company is trash! Read reviews from BBB and yelp. They are literally a 1-2 star rated company.

My daughter gave me a gift certificate for my birthday. I ordered two lobsters and one arrived dead. The tail from one of them came completely apart after cooking and was disintegrated in the shell. The company refused to remedy the situation because I contacted them outside of their 4-hour window. I notified them as soon as I cooked the lobster and saw how the meat looked.

Don’t do business with them when there are so many other businesses you can choose from.

The pics are from the 3 pound lobster that I ordered. It was $75! I expected more than a dead and spoiled crumbling tail from a $75 lobster.

Maine Lobster Now I ordered 3 lobster tails for Valentine's day

I ordered 3 lobster tails for Valentine's day . The Lobster tails finally came 2 days after the guaranteed date. Unfortunately the tails were spoiled. I called the company each of the previous days prior to delivery to see were our order was. Each time I called the customer service representative told me that shipping delays were out of their hands and I totally understand that. However each person I talked to told me dont worry if the arrive spoiled they would take care of me. When they finally arrived they were spoiled smelly and sitting in liquid. I called the company who transferred me to the customer service supervisor who proceeded to turn the situation into my fault for not insuring my package. He offered to send me more lobster tails at 1/2 price. I told him he should replace them at no charge but he refused. I then asked to talk to his boss and he refused to allow that telling me that he has the final say. I will never do business with this company again. I've on ordered from a few other Lobster places and have never had a problem with my orders.

This is a horrible business operating in the State of Maine. To celebrate our 47th wedding anniversary I ordered two lobsters with a delivery date of 06/16 (my anniversary). I prepaid with my credit card and received contract *** stating a delivery date of 06/16. I called the company at 3pm on 06/16 because I had not received my lobsters. I was told that there had been a problem and that I would not get them until 06/17 and that I should have been notified of this by e-mail (I wasn't). I cancelled my order. Due to this company's unprofessional conduct, both in not shipping a product already paid for and failing to notify me that there was a problem my surprise 47th wedding anniversary dinner was ruined. I have complained to *** who recommended them and to my *** followers. I have also advised MLN that I am very unhappy and not impressed with their inability to fill a simple order or even advise that they had a problem. If this is their business model I fail to see how they earned an A+ rating with ComplaintsBoard.com. I will be very interested in your response and will post it on ***.

30th Anniversary Dinner; Ordered 33 lobsters on June 16th for delivery on Friday July 3rd. Called at 4:30 PM on July 2nd to get a *** tracking number. Was told that shipments were not complete for the day yet and call back between 5:30 and 6:00. I called at 6:30 (their phone and website indicate a 7:00 pm closing time.) Their phones indicated they were closed for the day. I waited overnight for an email with my tracking number. Never received one; called *** at 6:30 AM on Friday morning to find if a package was on its' way t me. It wasn't. Left numerous messages and emails for the company. Finally, I was able to talk to someone at 9:30 AM eastern time on Friday. He informed me that my order never made it on the plane Thursday evening and I should have received both a call and email informing me of such. Did not hear anything from them. They claim that they have processed a refund for my order, but I work at the bank and i can see my credit card activity in real time. No refund has been processed as of this time. DO NOT TO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. I would give them zero stars if that was possible.

Maine Lobster Now I ordered a 12 count package of Main Lobster and one quart of Lobster bisque from there website

I ordered a 12 count package of Main Lobster and one quart of Lobster bisque from there website. When the items arrived they were completely thawed out due to the fact that it was not packaged properly and the package contained no dry ice It did have frozen jell packs but only on the bottom of the container.. as indicated on the package dry ice was not in the box. Upon removing the items from the container I also noticed that the bisque was completely thawed out and I had to discard it not knowing how long that it had been that way. Also there add said that I would be getting lobster roll buns? what they sent me were hot dog buns. I am not certain about the lobster since it was thawed out also. This is totally unexceptionable.

This letter is express my concern with the failure of Maine Live Lobster to complete an agreed upon response to our purchase of a supply of Lobsters for consumption over the Christmas holiday in 2019. The original order number *** was placed on 3 Sep. 2019 and paid by credit card at that time. An email was received from them on 20 December confirming the shipment to the address in ***. The lobsters were received on 21 December and per email from *** at (***) on that same day 5 of them did not arrive alive and 4 were well under the ordered weight. Photos of the shipment were provided to document the shipment when it arrived. Discussion by email was done with *** at Live Maine Lobster starting on 23 December at 12:53 pm in which we were offered either an "in store credit of $250" or a refund of $200 on the order. We do not regularly order the items and elected to receive the $200 refund. We were assured it would be processed the same day. Additional emails were exchanged with *** (customer service supervisor) on 15 January in which arrangements were confirmed. Following that on 25 January we had a further email from *** a representative in sales and support. Numerous emails and phone conversations since that time have not resulted in the refund being received. We were informed that it was held up pending approval, and later informed that it had been mailed to us. Weeks later we have yet to receive it.
