LG Electronics review: Repetitive control panel failures for lg dishwasher ldp6797bd 4

Dear LG Customer Service,

RE: LG Dishwasher Model LDP6797BD (Serial# 711KWCF4R563) Black Stainless

Four years ago I did a kitchen remodel and purchased a new LG Dishwasher. So far in the 4 years I have had 3 same repeat quality issues with the Control Board and its Plastic Panel.

The first issue was with the control panel circuit card which did not have the required protective coating to cover the components so it was replaced by ABT Electronics under Warranty. All was well for near 3 years and then there was noticable cracks in the plastic Control Panel and some pieces of plastic actually broke off so that was covered under my extended warranty with ABT who installed a new Control Panel (Aug 2021). Less than one year later (Aug 2022) I noticed the plastic cracking so we called ABT as it was within the ONE YEAR of replacing the previous bad Control Board Panel. (SAME FAILURE). This time I paid $289.36 for another new panel and ABT got the labor for free.

This Control Panel Issue is not acceptable to me as a customer purchasing a NEW LG high end dishwasher! If I had to pay out fully for the 3 Control Panel Replacements it would already EXCEED the price of a NEW dishwasher!

I am NOT happy and when will this Control Panel start to crack again? A near $300 repair EVERY YEAR? Seems like there is no LG Quality Solution to this problem.

I am requesting that the Control Panel PART COST be fully reimbersed to me. ABT Customer Service has already requested coverage for me from LG. I think THREE REPEAT failures is a KNOWN failure. This failure is classifies this Dishwasher of mine a "Lemon".

Please let me know what LG can do for me on this repetitive part failure. The repair charge is now in dispute on my credit card.
