I ordered some products from Electric Bargain Store back in November of 2022, but it's been a long wait since then. I was getting a bit worried about my order, so I sent them an email in January to ask about it. They finally got back to me and said that the products I ordered wouldn't be available until late March. I guess that's not really their fault, but I wish they had told me that when I placed my order. It's been four months now, and I still haven't received my products.

I think it would be nice if they communicated with me more often about my order. It's frustrating to not know what's going on. I mean, I get it, they're probably busy, but a little update every month would be nice. I don't think that's too much to ask.

Overall, I can't say anything too positive about Electric Bargain Store. They're just like any other online light store that sells the same or similar products. I wish they had better communication and were more upfront about how long it would take to get my order. But hey, maybe I'll finally get my products in March and they'll be worth the wait.

I tried to buy something from Electric Bargain Store and boy, was it frustrating! I punched in my order three times and each time, it wouldn't work. I got this really weird message that said something like "Invalid input" and then it told me to press my browser's back button. What does that even mean?

The message told me to make sure the characters I typed in were normal, like just regular letters and numbers. I mean, duh, obviously I was typing normal stuff. But then it said something about special symbols like !@#$%^&*-(),+={}?:", which, to be honest, I'm not even sure I know what those mean.

I don't know what's going on with this website, but they need to get it together. If you're trying to buy something and you get this message, don't waste your time like I did. Just contact customer service and give them all this weird information that they're asking for, like the time of the error and the field name and all that. It's just a big hassle.

But hey, maybe it was just a fluke and their other stuff is really great quality. Who knows? All I know is that I'm not going to bother trying to buy anything from Electric Bargain Store again until they make it easier.

I had an amazing time with the guy I talked to on the Electric Bargain Store's website. Sorry, I don't remember his name, but he was the bomb. So, I was scouring the webs for a can light replacement socket for my kitchen because the one I had there was older than me, 20 years to be precise. I thought I wouldn't find anything to provide a replacement as it was old, but I was wrong. I gave this stranger some vague descriptions, and he got it right and sooooo fast. HE was kind enough to share a link to the item and drop in some useful info as well. The price was fantastic too. These guys are undoubtedly going to be my people for electricals that I can't find locally. They will be right next to the Partswarehouse.com in my contacts, which is my other go-to; they are no slouch in customer service and reliability. Thanks a ton, Rich!

Found amazing deals at ElectricBargainStores.com! I was looking for Lutron Claro Screwless Wallplates for my brand new house, but didn't want to spend too much. After doing a lot of research, I stumbled upon this site and was pleasantly surprised by their prices! I estimate I saved at least $150 compared to other online stores that had the same product.

Then they said it would take 3 to 4 days to ship but it took longer. I got my order after 3 weeks, but it didn't come directly to me. Instead, it was sent to a warehouse where it just sat there. I called and talked on live chat with them again and again, just wanting to get my products. But it took almost 5 weeks before I finally got my lights.

I mean, I know that they have other customers too and they can't just focus on me. But when I called and told them that my package was sent to the wrong address and has been sitting there for days, I was really worried about it. I thought they would try their best to help me get it as soon as possible. After all, I've worked in customer service for over 16 years, so I know how to treat people right.

Anyway, the lights were really nice and they looked great in my living room. I was happy with them. But the customer service experience wasn't as good as I hoped it would be. I guess in the end, it's all about balance.

I immediately contacted the customer service team of Electric Bargain Store and was informed that I would only receive a $10 credit instead of the $65 I paid for express shipping. This is only the difference between the 2-day and 3-day shipping charges. I felt that this was unfair, but the customer service representative told me that it might take a while for me to get the credit. However, I implored them to start the process immediately.

Despite the issue I encountered, I still find Electric Bargain Store a reliable online store with quality products. I am just hoping that in the future they can provide better compensation for customers who experience such inconvenience.

I recently copped 2 Hubbell LED exterior fixtures from Electric Bargain Store (electricbargainstores.com). One of them shone so bright and gorgeous, while the other gave me some real issues, flashing on and off close to 60% of the time I had it on. Rigorous trouble shooting discovered that it was not my electrification wire which was the problem, but rather a part of the fixture itself.
I had to call Hubbell electronics because they were the ones who made the fixtures. They told me to inform Electric Bargain stores to open a ticket about any issues I had, and then they'd be able to deliver what was needed to me. I was ready to send it back, and then purchase a new one from the website, but Electric Bargain stores put their foot down and said "No". I let them know that the thing is already in use and it would be pretty difficult to take them out. They said I could only get a refund. A refund, really? I asked for a new unit instead, and they said "No again"... My goodness, frustrating.
The best bet was to directly buy a new one, which I was able to do. I even requested for another new unit to be sent, so I'd have a backup in case this happened again. I had to send back the troubled unit, and luckily, got a refund. But now, I ended up paying for 2 brand new units and shipping too. Yikes, this whole debacle could've been resolved if Electric Bargain stores opened the trouble ticket with Hubbell. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.

I gotta be honest here -- my experience shopping at Electric Bargain Store's website was pretty rough! I tried to buy a dozen smoke alarms using my credit card, but the darn thing just wouldn't go through. I even went to my bank to make sure everything was okay on their end, and they said it was fine. So I tried a different card, and still no luck! Finally, in desperation, I decided to try adding hyphens between each set of four numbers on my card, and wouldn't you know it -- that finally worked!

Now, I don't know about you, but I've never heard of having to add hyphens to a credit card number in order to make a purchase online before. If that's what their website requires, why in the world don't they tell you that up front? Or better yet, why don't they make their web page smart enough to recognize credit card numbers with or without hyphens? It's pretty frustrating, let me tell you.

And let's not forget about the shipping charges, either. I mean, I get that they're a small business and all, but come on -- $20 for shipping? That's almost as much as the smoke alarms themselves! If they want to keep customers coming back, they're going to have to do better than that.

All that being said, I do have to give credit where credit is due -- once I finally got my order to go through, the smoke alarms arrived in good condition and seem to be working just fine. Would I shop at Electric Bargain Store again? Only if I absolutely had to. But hey, maybe if they dropped their shipping charges or gave me some other incentive, I might change my mind...

I gotta say, ordering off that Electric Bargain Store site was a bit of a pain in the behind. I thought I could do it all online and be done with it, but nope, ended up having to talk to customer service to finish the dang order. And get this, the price I thought I was gonna pay ain't the price I ended up paying! It went up by $60, which is about a 12% increase. What the heck, man?

But I was already too involved in this thing, you know what I mean? I wanted that Juno product, so I trudged on. But wait, it gets even worse. See, I almost qualified for a $30 credit from Juno, which would have been sweet. So I added a single track end piece and boom, worked my way up to that $500 amount and got that credit. It ain't much, only about half of the price increase, but it's still something, you feel me?

But here's the kicker. When my original order went through, it charged me that old price, not the new one. Come on, man. I had to email them and ask for a credit, which took some time and was kind of annoying. But at least the product finally made its way to me and was able to replace my old Juno Trac-Master thingamajig.

All in all, EBS came through in the end, but man, that whole process was a real headache and I ain't gonna give them the highest score. Thank you, that's all I gotta say about that.

The fact that they had by far the best prices on high-end items, and also offered excellent customer service to handle my complaint, speaks volumes about their commitment to customer satisfaction. I know I will definitely turn to them again in the future when I need electrical supplies.

I got a story for y'all! It goes back about a year ago, Feb 2017. I wanted to hook up my crib with that LED lighting action and decided to cop 10 LED (Juno Warm dim) lights with 4 light switches from Electric Bargain Store. Ya feel me? Total came out to $3500, but ya gotta floss sometimes. When I installed the LEDs, everything went alright, but I noticed that one of the diffusers was cracked. I gave customer service a holler and they sent me out another one. Aight, cool.

But then, 7 months later in Oct 2017, one of the LED lights went out on me. I contacted customer service again and it was a whole different experience. I waited like 3 weeks before hollering at them again, but they finally hit me back saying that they were waiting on the manufacturer, but the product should ship within 5-7 business days. It did come through, but it was the wrong one based on the label. I let them know and they sent me another one based on the label. But when I tried to install it, it wouldn't turn off. I hit up customer service again and finally got an RMA number to send it back for warranty repair/exchange. So now, I got two lights in for warranty repair.

But yo, check this out. They sent me two more lights that were also the wrong ones, and this was all the way into Jan 2018. I sent them an email detailing the whole issue and said what my next steps were gonna be. Late Jan/early Feb 2018, someone from Electric Bargain Store gave me a call and I went off! I told them everything that happened and said that if I didn't have my lights by the following Monday, I was gonna do what I said in my email. We agreed that Valentine's Day would be acceptable for delivery, and he said he was personally gonna check on the lights and make sure they were right. Can y'all guess what was in the box when they finally arrived? Yup, still the wrong lights. The guy ended up contacting the manufacturer and it turned out that all the lights were labeled wrong.

But here's why I'm givin' them FIVE 5 stars. They went way above and beyond by issuing me a small refund on the lights and making sure that I got the correct ones. They did everything they could to make sure that I was happy, and after all that drama, I still went back and got more light switches from them. That's real customer service right there.

I recently bought some products from Electric Bargain Store and I gotta say, I was pretty happy with my experience. The items arrived on time and in good condition - everything was correct and well-packed. However, there were a couple of small screws missing from two of the packages, which was a bit of a bummer. Like, come on, I paid for everything so it's a fair request to want everything there, ya know? Anyway, I sent an email and asked if they could send me a couple of replacement screws. They were kind enough to respond quickly and told me they would send them right away.

The screws that were missing were actually pretty small and flatheaded which made them a bit tricky to find. But thanks to the help from the Electric Bargain Store team, they were able to navigate this for me. The plates were generally pretty easy to install but those missing screws definitely trip you up! I ended up putting them on without the screws at first but it didn't look great without them. When I contacted the team, they had a quick response time and everything was sorted out quickly and thoroughly. I appreciate their customer service and their willingness to address any issues I had.

Overall, the plates look very clean and sleek without any screws showing. I definitely think I'll be coming back for more of these as I swap them out in other parts of my home. I just ordered some smoke detectors from Electric Bargain Store and BOY, what a mess! I was really antsy to get these detectors because I had a job to finish, if you catch my drift. But it took over a month for them to show up! I mean, come on guys, that's a long time to wait! I had to get on the horn and call them to find out what was going on. When I finally talked to someone, they said they'd look into it, but then they never called me back! What's the deal with that? So, I canceled the order because I needed to get these detectors somewhere else and guess what? TWO WEEKS later they show up at my door. Where were they hiding, huh? You'd think these guys would have told me about any delays and stuff since they're my supplier and all, but no. Anyway, I ended up ordering them from another supplier and I got them in just 2 days. So long, Electric Bargain Store!

I got myself one of those carbon monoxide smoke detectors and also four smoke detectors from the electric bargain store. I was excited to install all of them on my own, but when I got my package, turns out they forgot to include a wiring adapter. It was a little frustrating at first, but I contacted their customer service and they told me they would ship it right away. I kept waiting for about two whole weeks before I contacted them once again. This time they said they'd already shipped it and that it was probably just stuck somewhere in transit with the US Postal service.

Fortunately, just four days after that second call, I finally got my missing piece! I was surprised to find out that the package didn't have enough postage on it though, and now I have to pay the US Postal department an additional 75 cents. That kinda stings, not gonna lie.

Wanted a new item for my travel trailer. It was mounted on the ceiling (First Alert model CO400RVA, which apparently is no longer made). The original item had a front entry for the battery. This product was marketed as having a front entry for the battery. The picture even showed this type but the item received was a rear battery entry (First Alert model CO400B). Hope they update the picture and description.
However, the good thing is that the shape and size of the new one is the same as the original. Therefore, I could fix it into the ceiling mounting bracket with ease.

When I tried to call at 9 am pacific time; the automated operator advises to leave a msg. and someone will return the call in a "few" hours? What? I definitely do not like that message. Also, I have a customer ID no. when I got on chat because I could not get an email to assist with my forgotten password, he advises I don't need to log into my account. However, when I tried to place the order the way he suggested there were still complications. But in the end, it all worked out. It also did not help me that my card information changed without my knowledge.

Feelin' real let down by Electric Bargain Store (electricbargainstores.com). I was told to hurry up and place my order, but then they hit me with the ol' backorder play. Not cool, man. Even worse, I made it clear when I placed my order that I needed it by a certain deadline, but EBS just straight up ignored me. Then they come around, talkin' 'bout splitin' up my order into two shipments, but then they say they can do it all in one. What's the deal?!

So anyway, my order doesn't show up on time, and EBS isn't helpin' much to get it sorted out. They didn't even care enough to put a fire under the butts of the carriers who were supposed to deliver my package. Ain't right that my stuff just sat for a couple days before finally arrivin' late. These guys don't seem to care about urgency or customer satisfaction.

Bottom line, be warned. Don't trust what they say, and don't count on 'em to come through for ya.

I didn't expect a good experience from Electric Bargain Store but it was even worse than I imagined. I ordered a BRK Electronics First Alert 86RAC for $15.96 as I needed a new smoke detector. I waited for it patiently until it finally arrived. When I opened the package, I was surprised to see that it contained a different model, a BRK Electronics First Alert 9120B. I checked the packing slip and saw a highlighted note that said (Upgraded to 9120B).

At first, I thought, "Wow! They upgraded my order to a better product." But then, I checked the website and saw that they sell the 9120B for only $7.68, which is less than half of what I paid for. I couldn't believe it! So, I decided to contact their customer service and ask for an explanation.

It took forever for someone to answer my call but when they finally did, they were rude and unhelpful. They said that the 9120B is a better model and that this was a free upgrade for me. I tried to explain that I wanted the specific model I ordered and paid for, but they didn't care. They just repeated the same thing over and over again.

Overall, my experience with Electric Bargain Store was terrible. They sent me a product I didn't order and charged me twice its value. Their customer service was also horrible, rude, and unhelpful. I would not recommend this store to anyone and will never buy from them again.

I been shoppin 'at Electric Bargain Store's website electricbargainstores.com for a bit now, and gotta to say, there's a few things that ain't so great. First, it's harder 'an catchin' a greased pig to get in touch with someone on the phone. You gotta give all your biz info to a lady who answers, and she says somebody will get back to ya. But sometimes that don't happen, or it takes a long time for 'em to get back to ya. Second, even when they do call back, it's usually not same day. Third, my most recent orders been takin' way longer to get here, and they got back orders so I'm stuck waiting for stuff that I need.

But let me tell ya, the biggest issue I got with Electric Bargain Store is when I finally get to talk to somebody, they always saying they'll check on stuff for me and call me back, but then they don't. So I gotta go through the whole phone thing again. That's just not cool and it's frustrating.

Don't get me wrong, they got some good stuff and decent prices, but they could definitely be better about their customer service.
