Purchased Home Depot 1/23/2023 on 12/8/2023 fan broke and stopped cooling fridge. 2 days for Texh to come out who didn’t bring fan part even though knew that’s what it was. Took 6 days to get part and fix it. LG customer service is terrible. Have called and chatted many times during this. This past week trying to request food loss. Getting complete run around. Becky never processed the claim, Maggie put me on hold for 40min when I asked to speak to a supervisor have been dropped from calls and chats repeatedly. One minute I qualify and next minute came customer service rep tells me no I don’t. There major appliance can’t even last a year b4 breaking down and they won’t cover the loss not to mention the 2 days I had to take off. Will never buy LG again. I’ve heard this from many people about all of their products. Buyer beware terrible products customer and horrible customer service. They stuff is so bad they won’t even cover it themselves or else they would go out of business. Filed a complaint w BBB and will hit all social media platforms h til I get a resolution.

Fridge didn’t even last a yr when fan broke. Repair took 6 days and lost over $200 in food that they refuse to cover saying it doesn’t fall under the year warranty? Seriously? Your $1,000 product can’t even last a year before breaking so what good is the yr warranty ?

Customer service is a joke wasted at least 4 hours on phone and chat to get run around in circles hung up on put on hold for 40 min. Maggie, Mel, Becky and tave in customer service are terrible. They don’t listen don’t help change their story and do not care won’t even transfer me to supervisors. Will never ever buy LG again. Others warned me how bad their products are as well as customer service. Buyer beware!

We're extremely sorry to hear of your frustration and sympathize with your anger.

Thousands of any one unit are sold in any given country during any given year. Unfortunately there's a small percentage of those that can develop issues, which is why the warranty coverage exist. One should remember that a warranty does NOT guarantee a product will not break, only that certain elements of repairing the product will be covered without that expense being passed onto the consumer.

With that explained, many fine LG retailers offer programs to enhance the manufacturer's coverage. Please contact them and, without question, PLEASE let us know if that doesn't completely cover any of your concerns.
