Future Energy Savers No customer service

No customer service. I challenge you to try to contact ANYONE. They never pick up the phone and don't respond to emails. It's like they don't even care about their customers. I've been trying to get in touch with them for weeks now, and it's just a big waste of time. I don't understand how a company can operate like this. It's frustrating and disappointing. I wouldn't recommend Future Energy Savers to anyone.

Future Energy Savers Dishonest company who will outright lie to get the sale

Dishonest company who will outright lie to get the sale. Quality is good, but price is too high and the people who run the company are basically scam artists.

Review:
This company, Future Energy Savers, ain't the most honest bunch. They'll straight up lie just to make a sale. The quality of their products is alright, but dang, the price is way too high. And let me tell ya, the folks in charge of this company, they're nothing but a bunch of scam artists. Can't trust 'em one bit.

Future Energy Savers Future Energy Savers is a great company

Future Energy Savers is a great company. They do roofing, solar panels, and battery backup. We got panels and battery backup from them. Our energy bills have gone down, and we feel secure about our home's power. We highly recommend them!

Future Energy Savers This company is amazing

This company is amazing. I've been shopping around for solar for a couple of years and never found a company that met all my needs. Being a local family operated company means a lot to me. On top of that, they are veteran friendly! Future Energy didn't disappoint. *** and *** guided me through every step of the process from sales, to finance options, to engineering and installation. The experience was great and the installers were amazing, they made sure to take care of my home and were very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. It's a big deal for me! If I could give Future Energy a 10/10/10 for Service, Value, and Customer Satisfaction, I would.

Future Energy Savers After several visits from many solar representatives, we decided to go with Future Energy Savers for our solar needs

After several visits from many solar representatives, we decided to go with Future Energy Savers for our solar needs. The process started a little slow because of the Covid-19 virus. When the installers arrived, the installation was completed in a timely manner, all in one day. The PG&E inspection was also delayed because of Covid-19, but it was finally completed, and the system was up and running with no problems to date. The first thing I noticed after the installation and operation of the system was amazing (-$139), and we are looking forward to more savings in the future. We could have gone with any other company but chose Future Energy Savers and do not regret the decision we made. If you are looking for a solar system, I suggest giving Future Energy Savers a chance to install their system for you.

Future Energy Savers The consultant who came to our house was able to answer any questions we had very thoroughly

The consultant who came to our house was able to answer any questions we had very thoroughly. It took about two months between the consultation and install. The installation process was quick and very professional with minimal effort required on our end. They were able to complete the battery and panel install in a few hours. We had our solar panels installed in June and we immediately saw savings on our energy bill. It did take about a month for the electric company to allow us to participate in net metering, but that's not the fault of Future Energy Savers. We have overproduced enough over the sunny months that come winter the excess energy will keep us from having a bill at the end of the year. Overall we are very happy with our experience and would recommend Future Energy Savers to anyone looking to purchase solar for their home.

Future Energy Savers The sales pitch was good, he explained how the process worked and how the payments would work

The sales pitch was good, he explained how the process worked and how the payments would work. The installers were efficient, very informative, on-time and cleaned up after themselves. The after service was not as great because of many delays. My panels were installed Dec. 8, 2020 and did not get inspected because new blue prints needed to be made and submitted to the city before they would inspect, which ended up taking 3 months. This also meant that I still paid *** electrical for that time. I have called several times to verify that my meter was set on the correct settings and even sent pictures, but have not received any response. I would hate to think what would happen if something went wrong. So, the before and install were great, after care, not so great. I am happy that I have solar and feel like am helping conserve energy though.

Future Energy Savers The whole process from pre-sale to installation went very smooth

The whole process from pre-sale to installation went very smooth. The system has been running very good. The solar path analysis and panel placement was determined on one day in a few hours, and the installation of the system was done on a second day. The system was neatly positioned and installed. The solar panels are very responsive to solar power generation and are mounted esthetically on the roof. It was reality tested during the storm outages of December . As the system pushes power back to the electric company, my power credits have eliminated my electric charges and now the only cost is the electric company connection fees which are minimal. I would highly recommend such a system which provides access for monitoring via the internet or an iphone app, and provides more than enough power for daily household demands. I am totally pleased.

I put off solar panels for a long time cuz I thought they were too expensive but after I learned more about the LG Neon solar panels from my sister and brother-in-law, I was interested in solar panels again. After the meeting with Mike W on March 18, I was totally satisfied and signed the contract on that visit to go with Future Energy Savers. From start to finish, I felt all the people involved with my contract were very nice, smart, thorough, and helpful. At the time of installation on June 3rd, the technicians were on time, fast, and cleaned up well. The system went online the same day of installation. I am also happy with the online system monitoring and the lower utility bills. Despite the delay on the installation cuz of the Shelter-In-Place order brought on by the Coronovirus pandemic, every phase of the project was completed on time and as expected - including the Hayward Inspection Department and PG&E for the Permission to Operate. In my book, Future Energy Savers earned an A+ rating for Customer Service and everything else! I would not hesitate to refer friends and family to Future Energy Savers. I close with a big Thank You to the entire staff at Future Energy Savers for a job well done! Fay L. Hayward, CA September 5

Future Energy Savers This company cracked roof tiles while installing solar panels

This company cracked roof tiles while installing solar panels. We asked them to come and replace roof tiles that we provided. They gave us several dates to come out over the last 4 months. They called to reschedule on every date they scheduled us. They keep blowing us off for services that have been paid for through warranties. I feel this is very unprofessional and unacceptable. I would like this to be resolved as soon as possible.

Future Energy Savers I bought my solar panels from Future Energy in 2018

I bought my solar panels from Future Energy in 2018. They've always been good at getting back to me and being reliable and honest. However, things have changed recently. I came back from vacation on December 28, and was shocked to find my backroom ceiling collapsed due to heavy rain (7" of rain, to be exact). I contacted my insurance, and they sent an adjuster who said they wouldn't cover the damage because it was caused by the solar panels. I reached out to the Company Representative at Future Energy, who I've always dealt with, and he came over to inspect the damage. He agreed that the solar panels were the cause and assured me they would take care of the repair costs. Unfortunately, due to the rain, it was difficult for them to find someone to do the repairs. I asked if I could hire my own person, and he said it was no problem. I stayed in touch with him, keeping him updated throughout the entire process. On May 18, 2022, I submitted my receipts and requested payment. He asked for pictures of the completed room, and when he saw them, he seemed satisfied with the job. However, when I texted him on June 20, 2022, to inquire about my payment, he didn't respond. I tried calling and left a message, but still no response. I've also left two messages with the Company, but they haven't gotten back to me either. As a retired individual living on Social Security, I took this money out of my savings, and I really need it back. They owe me a total of $9781.49.

Future Energy Savers Future Energy Savers sold solar panels and backup batteries

Future Energy Savers sold solar panels and backup batteries. The issue is that they never installed the CTs to begin with. The CTs allow the house to use the backup batteries when the sun is down. In late April 2022, we received our first true-up bill, and it's a lot higher than what we expected. If anything, it's a lot higher compared to what we used to pay without solar because we weren't able to use the backup batteries at all. We were pulling from the grid all along. We were sold batteries and weren't even allowed to put them to use. We feel scammed! I contacted the solar company to check it out, a work order was issued, and the guy realized that the CTs weren't installed in the first place. They are aware of their mistake but they refused to make it right. They keep giving me the contact our General Manager, ***, but he does not return our calls/emails. I have kept our conversation professional, but it's getting frustrating as they don't want to make it right. I asked if they have an attribution rider, so we can settle on something. Still, they refused to contact us back. I felt like we were sold something that we weren't able to use, and for their mistake, we, the consumer got consequential damages which is the high energy true-up bill.

Future Energy Savers Future Energy Savers gave a really good sales pitch about their solar systems and the 25-year warranty on all the parts

Future Energy Savers gave a really good sales pitch about their solar systems and the 25-year warranty on all the parts. They made it seem like once I paid off the initial cost, I wouldn't have to worry about anything and would keep getting electricity. Everything was fine until one of the inverters stopped working after just six years. When I called for warranty service, they surprised me by saying I had to pay $325. Nowhere in the sales pitch, company documents, or my contract did it mention a fee for warranty service. The sales documents even said "Solar Parts and Labor Warranty!" They now say that only referred to the original installation! They won't admit that this is misleading and unfair, and they won't provide warranty service without the fee. I have a total of 34 components covered by the warranty (17 panels and 17 inverters). If this keeps happening, I'll have to pay $11,050 in service fees during the warranty period.

On 7/22/2022, I called Future Energy Savers to ask about transferring the warranty and ownership of the solar panel system installed by the previous owner of my house. I also wanted to know if I could add more solar panels to the current system. The company owner assured me that they could transfer the warranty and ownership to my name. I scheduled an appointment with their technician for 7/26/2022 to complete the transfer.

On 7/26/2022, the technician from Future Energy Savers came and inspected the solar panels and system. They informed me that the fee for transferring the warranty and ownership would be $495.00. I paid this amount with my credit card, and the technician noted the payment on the service order.

Since then, I have tried contacting the company multiple times through email and phone calls to request the documentation for the warranty transfer and change of ownership. However, they have failed to provide me with the necessary documents. They only sent me the original solar panel and system installation agreement from the previous owner, dated 01, stating that it serves as the recertification document/contract. The company owner also claimed that the $495.00 was not a recertification fee but an inspection fee, despite the service order from their technician on 7/22/2022 clearly stating "recertification" with the amount of $495.00. I have evidence of this payment.

The owner of the company and their associates have been avoiding my calls, not returning them, and providing no response or explanation. They charged me for a service they never delivered, failed to complete the change of ownership from the previous owner's name to mine, and did not transfer the warranty as promised. Their customer service is terrible, and it feels like they are scamming customers for money. I demand a refund.
