FPL deposit practices are terrible and unwarranted, I like a lot of middle class families pay my bills on the last day they are due trying to get by and many times having to take advantage of grace periods in order to actually pay all my bills, FPL somehow is one of the few companies that has a zero tolerance with late payments. Because I'm a a Father to a young boy, a husband, and I run my own company working on avg 10 hours a day 6 days a week I normally pay my FPL on the day it's due after 5pm making it "late" because somehow in this digital world the time of payment matters, and if not on the day it's due then the next day, so what does FPL do for people who are just trying make ends meet and dare to pay there bills after 5pm on the due date? Well they make you pay nearly a $500 deposit in middle of the month which means within roughly 30 days I'll pay my bill that's actually owed, then their 2 month deposit two weeks later, then my bill for the current month totalling nearly a $1000. I can't afford this as I'm trying to recover from my wife missing work to give birth, the hospital bills from that, and now her reduced work schedule. Anyone with a little common sense would lie at my payments almat always being on the due date or a day after and know that I'm not a problem, I'm not at risk of not paying my bill, I'm just a busy middle class small business man, and I cannot emphasize enough how insane it is that a billion dollar company that has so many forced customers doesn't have some type of grace period.

Desired outcome: Remove the deposit coming up on the 18th so I can keep getting by and not have to add nearly $500 onto credit cards.
